Psalms 145
1 A Psalm of praise. Of David. I will extol thee, my God, O King, and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Ihubo lokudumisa. ElikaDavida. Ngizaphakamisa wena, Nkulunkulu wami oyiNkosi; ngizalidumisa ibizo lakho kuze kube phakade.
2 Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
Zonke insuku ngizakudumisa ngibabaze ibizo lakho kuze kube phakade.
3 Great is Jehovah, and exceedingly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
Umkhulu uThixo njalo ufanele kakhulu ukudunyiswa; ubukhulu bakhe kakho ongabulinganisa.
4 One generation shall laud thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
Yileso laleso isizukulwane sizababaza imisebenzi yakho kwesinye; sizatshelana ngezenzo zakho ezinkulu.
5 I will speak of the glorious splendour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
Sizakhuluma ngenkazimulo yakho ebenyezelayo ubukhosi bakho, lami ngizazidla ingqondo ngemisebenzi yakho emangalisayo.
6 And they shall tell of the might of thy terrible acts; and thy great deeds will I declare.
Zizalandisa ngamandla emisebenzi yakho emangalisayo, lami ngizafakaza ngemisebenzi yakho emikhulu.
7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
Bazakwenza umkhosi ngokulunga kwakho okukhulu bahlabele ngentokozo ngokulunga kwakho.
8 Jehovah is gracious and merciful; slow to anger, and of great loving-kindness.
UThixo ulomusa njalo ulesihawu, uyaphuza ukuthukuthela, kodwa uyanda ngothando.
9 Jehovah is good to all; and his tender mercies are over all his works.
UThixo ulungile kubo bonke; ulesihawu kukho konke akwenzayo.
10 All thy works shall praise thee, Jehovah, and thy saints shall bless thee.
Konke owakwenzayo kuzakudumisa, wena Thixo; abathembekileyo bakho bazakubabaza.
11 They shall tell of the glory of thy kingdom, and speak of thy power;
Bazalandisa ngenkazimulo yombuso wakho bakhulume ngamandla akho,
12 To make known to the children of men his mighty acts, and the glorious splendour of his kingdom.
kuze kuthi bonke abantu bazi ngezenzo zakho ezinkulu lokubenyezela kwenkazimulo yombuso wakho.
13 Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all ages, and thy dominion is throughout all generations.
Umbuso wakho ungumbuso ongapheliyo, lobukhosi bakho bumi kuzozonke izizukulwane. UThixo uthembekile kuzozonke izithembiso zakhe njalo ulothando kukho konke akwenzayo.
14 Jehovah upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all that are bowed down.
UThixo uyabaxhasa bonke labo abawayo abaphakamise bonke abacubayo.
15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their food in its season.
Amehlo abo bonke akhangela kuwe, wena ubaphe ukudla kwabo ngesikhathi esifaneleyo.
16 Thou openest thy hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
Uyavula isandla sakho usuthise izidingo zakho konke okuphilayo.
17 Jehovah is righteous in all his ways, and kind in all his works.
UThixo ulungile kuzozonke izindlela zakhe njalo uthembekile kukho konke akwenzayo.
18 Jehovah is nigh unto all that call upon him, unto all that call upon him in truth.
UThixo useduze kulabo abacela kuye, kubo bonke abacela kuye ngeqiniso.
19 He fulfilleth the desire of them that fear him; he heareth their cry, and saveth them.
Uyagcwalisa izidingo zalabo abamesabayo; uyezwa ukukhala kwabo abasindise.
20 Jehovah keepeth all that love him, and all the wicked will he destroy.
UThixo uyabalinda bonke abamthandayo, kodwa bonke ababi uzababhubhisa.
21 My mouth shall speak the praise of Jehovah; and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
Umlomo wami uzakhuluma ngokudumisa uThixo. Akuthi izidalwa zonke zidumise ibizo lakhe elingcwele kuze kube nini lanini.
