Psalms 138

1 [A Psalm] of David. I will give thee thanks with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing psalms of thee.

Te alabaré de todo corazón: te haré melodía delante de los dioses.

2 I will bow down toward the temple of thy holiness, and celebrate thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth; for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Y adoraré delante de tu santo templo, y alabaré tu nombre por tu misericordia y por tu fe inmutable; porque has hecho tu palabra mayor que todo tu nombre.

3 In the day when I called thou answeredst me; thou didst encourage me with strength in my soul.

Cuando mi llanto llegó a tus oídos, me diste una respuesta, y me engrandeciaste con fuerza en mi alma.

4 All the kings of the earth shall celebrate thee, Jehovah, when they have heard the words of thy mouth;

Todos los reyes de la tierra te alabarán, oh Señor, cuando las palabras de tu boca les lleguen sus oídos.

5 And they shall sing in the ways of Jehovah, for great is the glory of Jehovah.

Ellos harán canciones acerca de los caminos del Señor; porque grande es la gloria del Señor.

6 For Jehovah is high; but he looketh upon the lowly, and the proud he knoweth afar off.

Aunque el Señor está alto, él ve a los que están bajos; y él tiene conocimiento desde lejos de aquellos que son altivos.

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou wilt stretch forth thy hand against the anger of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

Aun cuando me rodean los problemas, me darás la vida; tu mano se extenderá contra la ira de mis enemigos, y tu diestra será mi salvación.

8 Jehovah will perfect what concerneth me: thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, [endureth] for ever; forsake not the works of thine own hands.

El Señor hará todas las cosas para mí: Señor, tu misericordia es eterna; no renuncies a las obras de tus manos.
