< Psalms 13 >

1 To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. How long, Jehovah, wilt thou forget me for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Kumqondisi wokuhlabela. Ihubo likaDavida. Koze kube nini, Oh Thixo? Uzangikhohlwa lanininini na? Koze kube nini ungifihlela ubuso bakho na?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, with sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
Koze kube nini ngitshukumisana lemicabango yami, inhliziyo yami ihlale idabukile insuku zonke na? Koze kube nini isitha sami sitshakala phezu kwami?
3 Consider, answer me, O Jehovah my God! lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the [sleep of] death;
Ngizwela ungiphendule, Oh Thixo Nkulunkulu wami. Khanyisela amehlo ami funa ngihle ngilale kokuphela;
4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him! [lest] mine adversaries be joyful when I am moved.
isitha sami sizakuthi, “Sengimehlule,” labangizondayo bathokoze nxa ngisiwa.
5 As for me, I have confided in thy loving-kindness; my heart shall be joyful in thy salvation.
Kodwa ngiyalwethemba uthando lwabo olungapheliyo; inhliziyo yami iyathokoza ngensindiso yakho.
6 I will sing unto Jehovah, for he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Ngizahlabelela kuThixo, ngoba ungenzele ukulunga.
