Psalms 128

1 A Song of degrees. Blessed is every one that feareth Jehovah, that walketh in his ways.

Faarfannaa Ol Baʼuu. Warri Waaqayyoon sodaatan, kanneen karaa isaa irra deeman eebbifamoo dha.

2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thy hands; happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

Ati buʼaa dadhabbii keetii ni nyaatta; ni eebbifamta; jireenyis sitti tola.

3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine in the inner part of thy house; thy children like olive-plants round about thy table.

Niitiin kee mana kee keessatti, akka muka wayinii kan ija naqatee ni taati; ijoolleen kees naannoo maaddii keetiitti, akka lataa muka ejersaa ni taʼu.

4 Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth Jehovah.

Namni Waaqayyoon sodaatu akkasitti eebbifama.

5 Jehovah will bless thee out of Zion; and mayest thou see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life,

Bara jireenya keetii guutuu, Waaqayyo Xiyoon irraa si haa eebbisu; atis badhaadhummaa Yerusaalem argi.

6 And see thy children's children. Peace be upon Israel!

ijoollee ijoollee keetii ni argi; nagaan Israaʼeliif haa taʼu.
