Psalms 122

1 A Song of degrees. Of David. I rejoiced when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of Jehovah.

Nyanyian ziarah Daud. Aku gembira ketika orang berkata kepadaku, "Mari kita ke Rumah TUHAN!"

2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

Sekarang kami sudah tiba di gerbang kota Yerusalem.

3 Jerusalem, which art built as a city that is compact together,

Yerusalem yang dibangun sebagai kota tersusun rapi dan indah.

4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of Jah, a testimony to Israel, to give thanks unto the name of Jehovah.

Ke sinilah suku-suku bangsa datang, suku-suku bangsa pilihan TUHAN, untuk bersyukur kepada-Nya sesuai dengan perintah-Nya.

5 For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

Di sinilah raja-raja keturunan Daud menghakimi rakyatnya.

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

Berdoalah bagi kesejahteraan Yerusalem: "Semoga semua orang yang mencintaimu sejahtera.

7 Peace be within thy bulwarks, prosperity within thy palaces.

Semoga ada damai di dalam wilayahmu, dan ketentraman di dalam benteng-bentengmu."

8 For my brethren and companions' sakes I will say, Peace be within thee!

Demi kaum kerabat dan sahabatku aku berkata, "Semoga engkau sejahtera!"

9 Because of the house of Jehovah our God I will seek thy good.

Demi Rumah TUHAN, Allah kita, aku berdoa agar engkau bahagia.
