Psalms 122

1 A Song of degrees. Of David. I rejoiced when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of Jehovah.

१दाऊद की यात्रा का गीत जब लोगों ने मुझसे कहा, “आओ, हम यहोवा के भवन को चलें,” तब मैं आनन्दित हुआ।

2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

२हे यरूशलेम, तेरे फाटकों के भीतर, हम खड़े हो गए हैं!

3 Jerusalem, which art built as a city that is compact together,

३हे यरूशलेम, तू ऐसे नगर के समान बना है, जिसके घर एक दूसरे से मिले हुए हैं।

4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of Jah, a testimony to Israel, to give thanks unto the name of Jehovah.

४वहाँ यहोवा के गोत्र-गोत्र के लोग यहोवा के नाम का धन्यवाद करने को जाते हैं; यह इस्राएल के लिये साक्षी है।

5 For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

५वहाँ तो न्याय के सिंहासन, दाऊद के घराने के लिये रखे हुए हैं।

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

६यरूशलेम की शान्ति का वरदान माँगो, तेरे प्रेमी कुशल से रहें!

7 Peace be within thy bulwarks, prosperity within thy palaces.

७तेरी शहरपनाह के भीतर शान्ति, और तेरे महलों में कुशल होवे!

8 For my brethren and companions' sakes I will say, Peace be within thee!

८अपने भाइयों और संगियों के निमित्त, मैं कहूँगा कि तुझ में शान्ति होवे!

9 Because of the house of Jehovah our God I will seek thy good.

९अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा के भवन के निमित्त, मैं तेरी भलाई का यत्न करूँगा।
