Psalms 12

1 To the chief Musician. Upon Sheminith. A Psalm of David. Save, Jehovah, for the godly man is gone; for the faithful have failed from among the children of men.

၁အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကယ်တင် တော်မူပါ။ သူတော်ကောင်း မျိုးသည် ပြတ် ၍ သစ္စာရှိ သောလူမျိုးသည် လူ သား တို့တွင် ကွယ်ပျောက် ပါ၏။

2 They speak falsehood every one with his neighbour: [with] flattering lip, with a double heart, do they speak.

၂အိမ်နီးချင်း တို့သည် တ ဦးကိုတဦးမုသာ သုံး၍ ချော့မော့ သော နှုတ်ခမ်း ၊ နှစ်ခွ သောစိတ် နှင့် ပြော တတ် ကြပါ၏။

3 Jehovah will cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaketh proud things,

၃ငါတို့သည် ကိုယ် လျှာ အားဖြင့် နိုင် မည်။ကိုယ် နှုတ်ခမ်း သည် ကိုယ်အမှုကိုစောင့်လိမ့်မည်။

4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail, our lips are our own: who [is] lord over us?

၄ငါ တို့၏ သခင် ကား အဘယ်သူ နည်းဟု ပြောဆို သော သူတို့၏ချော့မော့ သောနှုတ်ခမ်း နှင့် ဝါကြွား သောလျှာ ရှိသမျှ တို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဖြတ် တော်မူမည်။

5 Because of the oppression of the afflicted, because of the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith Jehovah, I will set [him] in safety, at whom they puff.

၅ဆင်းရဲ သောသူသည် ခံရသောညှဉ်းဆဲ ခြင်း၊ ငတ်မွတ် သောသူ၏ ငိုကြွေး ခြင်းကြောင့် ယခု ငါထ မည်။ ကဲ့ရဲ့ ခြင်းကိုခံရသောသူ အား ချမ်းသာ ပေးမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။

6 The words of Jehovah are pure words, silver tried in the furnace of earth, purified seven times.

၆ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူချက်တို့သည် သန့်ရှင်း ခြင်းရှိ၍၊ မြေ နှင့် ကင်းစင် စေခြင်းငှါ၊ မိုက် ၌ ခုနစ် ကြိမ် စစ် သော ငွေ ကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

7 Thou, Jehovah, wilt keep them, thou wilt preserve them from this generation for ever.

၇အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် ထိုသူ တို့ကို ဤလူမျိုး မှ အစဉ် ကာကွယ် စောင့်မ တော်မူမည်။

8 The wicked walk about on every side, when vileness is exalted among the children of men.

၈ဆိုးယုတ် သောသူ တို့သည် ချီးမြှောက် ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သည် ကာလ ၊ မတရား သောသူတို့သည် အရပ်ရပ် လှည့် လည်ရသောအခွင့်ရှိကြ၏။
