Psalms 119
1 ALEPH. Blessed are the perfect in the way, who walk in the law of Jehovah.
Wohl denen, deren Weg unsträflich ist, die da wandeln nach dem Gesetze des HERRN!
2 Blessed are they that observe his testimonies, that seek him with the whole heart;
Wohl denen, die seine Zeugnisse beobachten, die ihn von ganzem Herzen suchen,
3 Who also do no unrighteousness: they walk in his ways.
die auch kein Unrecht getan haben, die auf seinen Wegen gegangen sind!
4 Thou hast enjoined thy precepts, to be kept diligently.
Du hast deine Befehle gegeben, daß man sie fleißig beobachte.
5 Oh that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
O daß meine Wege dahin zielten, deine Satzungen zu befolgen!
6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
Dann werde ich nicht zuschanden, wenn ich auf alle deine Gebote sehe.
7 I will give thee thanks with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
Ich werde dir mit aufrichtigem Herzen danken, wenn ich die Verordnungen deiner Gerechtigkeit lerne.
8 I will keep thy statutes: forsake me not utterly.
Deine Satzungen will ich befolgen; verlaß mich nicht ganz und gar!
9 BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his path? by taking heed according to thy word.
Wie wird ein Jüngling seinen Weg unsträflich gehen? Wenn er sich hält nach deinem Wort!
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandments.
Ich habe dich von ganzem Herzen gesucht; laß mich nicht abirren von deinen Geboten!
11 Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Ich habe dein Wort in meinem Herzen geborgen, auf daß ich nicht an dir sündige.
12 Blessed art thou, Jehovah! teach me thy statutes.
Gelobt seist du, o HERR! Lehre mich deine Satzungen.
13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
Mit meinen Lippen zähle ich alle Verordnungen deines Mundes auf.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as [much as] in all wealth.
Ich freue mich des Weges deiner Zeugnisse, wie über lauter Reichtümer.
15 I will meditate upon thy precepts, and have respect unto thy paths.
Ich will über deine Wege nachsinnen und auf deine Pfade achten.
16 I delight myself in thy statutes; I will not forget thy word.
Ich habe meine Lust an deinen Satzungen und vergesse deines Wortes nicht.
17 GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant [and] I shall live; and I will keep thy word.
Gewähre deinem Knecht, daß ich lebe und dein Wort befolge!
18 Open mine eyes, and I shall behold wondrous things out of thy law.
Öffne meine Augen, daß ich erblicke die Wunder in deinem Gesetz!
19 I am a stranger in the land; hide not thy commandments from me.
Ich bin ein Gast auf Erden; verbirg deine Gebote nicht vor mir!
20 My soul breaketh for longing after thy judgments at all times.
Meine Seele ist zermalmt vor Sehnsucht nach deinen Verordnungen allezeit.
21 Thou hast rebuked the proud [that are] cursed, who wander from thy commandments.
Du hast die Übermütigen gescholten, die Verfluchten, welche von deinen Geboten abirren.
22 Roll off from me reproach and contempt; for I observe thy testimonies.
Wälze Schimpf und Schande von mir ab; denn ich habe deine Zeugnisse bewahrt!
23 Princes also did sit [and] talk together against me: thy servant doth meditate in thy statutes.
Sogar Fürsten sitzen und bereden sich wider mich; aber dein Knecht sinnt über deine Satzungen.
24 Thy testimonies also are my delight [and] my counsellors.
Ja, deine Zeugnisse sind meine Freude; sie sind meine Ratgeber.
25 DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken me according to thy word.
Meine Seele klebt am Staube; belebe mich nach deiner Verheißung!
26 I have declared my ways, and thou hast answered me: teach me thy statutes.
Ich habe meine Wege erzählt, und du hast mir geantwortet; lehre mich deine Satzungen!
27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts, and I will meditate upon thy wondrous works.
Laß mich den Weg deiner Befehle verstehen und deine Wunder betrachten!
28 My soul melteth for sadness: strengthen me according to thy word.
Meine Seele weint vor Kummer; richte mich auf nach deinem Wort!
29 Remove from me the way of falsehood, and graciously grant me thy law.
Entferne von mir den falschen Weg und begnadige mich mit deinem Gesetz!
30 I have chosen the way of faithfulness; thy judgments have I set [before me].
Ich habe den Weg der Wahrheit erwählt und deine Verordnungen vor mich hingestellt.
31 I cleave unto thy testimonies; Jehovah, let me not be ashamed.
HERR, ich hange an deinen Zeugnissen; laß mich nicht zuschanden werden!
32 I will run the way of thy commandments when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
Ich laufe den Weg deiner Gebote; denn du machst meinem Herzen Raum.
33 HE. Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of thy statutes, and I will observe it [unto] the end.
Zeige mir, HERR, den Weg deiner Satzungen, daß ich ihn bewahre bis ans Ende.
34 Give me understanding, and I will observe thy law; and I will keep it with [my] whole heart.
Unterweise mich, so will ich dein Gesetz bewahren und es von ganzem Herzen befolgen.
35 Make me to walk in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
Laß mich wandeln auf dem Pfad deiner Gebote; denn ich habe Lust daran.
36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to gain.
Neige mein Herz zu deinen Zeugnissen und nicht zur Habsucht!
37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; quicken me in thy way.
Wende meine Augen ab, daß sie nicht nach Eitlem sehen; erquicke mich auf deinen Wegen!
38 Establish thy word unto thy servant, who is [devoted] to thy fear.
Erfülle an deinem Knechte deine Verheißung, die denen gilt, die dich fürchten.
39 Turn away my reproach which I fear; for thy judgments are good.
Wende die Beschimpfung von mir ab, die ich fürchte; denn deine Verordnungen sind gut!
40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.
Siehe, ich sehne mich nach deinen Befehlen; erquicke mich durch deine Gerechtigkeit!
41 VAU. And let thy loving-kindness come unto me, O Jehovah, — thy salvation according to thy word.
Deine Gnade, o HERR, komme über mich, dein Heil nach deinem Wort!
42 So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me; for I confide in thy word.
Damit ich dem antworten kann, der mich schmäht; denn ich verlasse mich auf dein Wort.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; because I have hoped in thy judgments.
Und entziehe nicht allzusehr meinem Munde das Wort der Wahrheit; denn ich harre auf deine Verordnungen!
44 Then will I keep thy law continually, for ever and ever;
Und ich will dein Gesetz stets bewahren, immer und ewiglich.
45 And I will walk at liberty, for I have sought thy precepts;
Und ich möchte auf weitem Raum wandeln; denn ich habe deine Befehle erforscht.
46 And I will speak of thy testimonies before kings, and will not be ashamed;
Und ich will von deinen Zeugnissen reden vor Königen und mich nicht schämen.
47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved;
Und ich will mich an deinen Befehlen vergnügen; denn ich liebe sie.
48 And I will lift up my hands unto thy commandments, which I have loved, and I will meditate in thy statutes.
Und ich will meine Hände nach deinen Befehlen ausstrecken, weil ich sie liebe, und will nachdenken über deine Satzungen.
49 ZAIN. Remember the word for thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
Gedenke des Wortes an deinen Knecht, auf welches du mich hoffen ließest!
50 This is my comfort in mine affliction; for thy word hath quickened me.
Das ist mein Trost in meinem Elend, daß dein Wort mich erquickt.
51 The proud have derided me beyond measure: I have not declined from thy law.
Die Übermütigen haben mich arg verspottet; dennoch bin ich von deinem Gesetz nicht abgewichen.
52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O Jehovah, and have comforted myself.
Ich gedachte deiner Verordnungen, HERR, die von Ewigkeit her sind, und das tröstete mich.
53 Burning indignation hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked who forsake thy law.
Zornglut hat mich ergriffen wegen der Gottlosen, die dein Gesetz verlassen.
54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
Deine Satzungen sind meine Lieder geworden im Hause meiner Wallfahrt.
55 I have remembered thy name, O Jehovah, in the night, and have kept thy law.
HERR, des Nachts habe ich an deinen Namen gedacht und dein Gesetz bewahrt.
56 This I have had, because I have observed thy precepts.
Das ist mir zuteil geworden, daß ich deine Befehle befolgen darf.
57 CHETH. My portion, O Jehovah, I have said, is to keep thy words.
Ich sage: Das ist mein Teil, o HERR, die Beobachtung deiner Worte!
58 I have sought thy favour with [my] whole heart: be gracious unto me according to thy word.
Ich flehe von ganzem Herzen um deine Gunst: Sei mir gnädig, wie du verheißen hast!
59 I have thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
Als ich meine Wege überlegte, wandte ich meine Füße zu deinen Zeugnissen.
60 I have made haste, and not delayed, to keep thy commandments.
Ich habe mich beeilt und nicht gesäumt, deine Gebote zu befolgen.
61 The bands of the wicked have wrapped me round: I have not forgotten thy law.
Als die Schlingen der Gottlosen mich umgaben, vergaß ich deines Gesetzes nicht.
62 At midnight I rise up to give thanks unto thee, because of thy righteous judgments.
Mitten in der Nacht stehe ich auf, dir zu danken für die Verordnungen deiner Gerechtigkeit.
63 I am the companion of all that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
Ich bin verbunden mit allen, die dich fürchten, und die deine Befehle befolgen.
64 The earth, O Jehovah, is full of thy loving-kindness: teach me thy statutes.
HERR, die Erde ist voll deiner Gnade; lehre mich deine Satzungen!
65 TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Jehovah, according to thy word.
Du hast deinem Knechte wohlgetan, o HERR, nach deinem Wort.
66 Teach me good discernment and knowledge; for I have believed in thy commandments.
Lehre mich rechte Einsicht und Verständnis; denn ich vertraue deinen Befehlen.
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep thy word.
Ehe ich gedemütigt ward, irrte ich, nun aber befolge ich dein Wort.
68 Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
Du bist gut und wohltätig; lehre mich deine Satzungen!
69 The proud have forged falsehood against me: I will observe thy precepts with [my] whole heart.
Die Stolzen haben mich mit Lügen besudelt; ich beobachte von ganzem Herzen deine Befehle.
70 Their heart is as fat as grease: as for me, I delight in thy law.
Ihr Herz ist stumpf wie von Fett; ich aber vergnüge mich an deinem Gesetz.
71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I might learn thy statutes.
Es war gut für mich, daß ich gedemütigt wurde, auf daß ich deine Satzungen lernte.
72 The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
Das Gesetz deines Mundes ist besser für mich als Tausende von Gold und Silberstücken.
73 YOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, and I will learn thy commandments.
Deine Hände haben mich gemacht und bereitet; gib mir Verstand, daß ich deine Befehle lerne!
74 They that fear thee will see me, and rejoice; because I have hoped in thy word.
Die dich fürchten, werden mich sehen und sich freuen, daß ich auf dein Wort gewartet habe.
75 I know, Jehovah, that thy Judgments are righteousness, and that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.
HERR, ich weiß, daß deine Verordnungen gerecht sind und daß du mich in Treue gedemütigt hast.
76 Oh let thy loving-kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.
Laß doch deine Gnade mir zum Trost gereichen, wie du deinem Knechte zugesagt hast!
77 Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; for thy law is my delight.
Laß mir deine Barmherzigkeit widerfahren, daß ich lebe! Denn dein Gesetz ist meine Lust.
78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they have acted perversely towards me with falsehood: as for me, I meditate in thy precepts.
Laß die Stolzen zuschanden werden, weil sie mir mit Lügen Unrecht getan; ich aber denke über deine Befehle nach.
79 Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that know thy testimonies.
Mir wird zufallen, wer dich fürchtet und deine Zeugnisse anerkennt.
80 Let my heart be perfect in thy statutes, that I be not ashamed.
Mein Herz soll sich gänzlich an deine Satzungen halten, damit ich nicht zuschanden werde.
81 CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation; I hope in thy word.
Meine Seele schmachtet nach deinem Heil; ich harre auf dein Wort.
82 Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
Meine Augen schmachten nach deinem Wort und fragen: Wann wirst du mich trösten?
83 For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; I do not forget thy statutes.
Bin ich auch geworden wie ein Schlauch im Rauch, so habe ich doch deiner Satzungen nicht vergessen.
84 How many shall be the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
Wieviel sind noch der Tage deines Knechtes? Wann willst du an meinen Verfolgern das Urteil vollziehen?
85 The proud have digged pits for me, which is not according to thy law.
Die Übermütigen haben mir Gruben gegraben, sie, die sich nicht nach deinem Gesetze richten.
86 All thy commandments are faithfulness. They persecute me wrongfully: help thou me.
Alle deine Gebote sind Wahrheit; sie aber verfolgen mich mit Lügen; hilf mir!
87 They had almost consumed me upon the earth; but as for me, I forsook not thy precepts.
Sie hätten mich fast umgebracht auf Erden; dennoch verließ ich deine Befehle nicht.
88 Quicken me according to thy loving-kindness, and I will keep the testimony of thy mouth.
Erhalte mich am Leben nach deiner Gnade, so will ich die Zeugnisse deines Mundes bewahren.
89 LAMED. For ever, O Jehovah, thy word is settled in the heavens.
Auf ewig, o HERR, steht dein Wort im Himmel fest;
90 Thy faithfulness is from generation to generation: thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.
von einem Geschlecht zum andern währt deine Treue! Du hast die Erde gegründet, und sie steht;
91 By thine ordinances they stand this day; for all things are thy servants.
nach deinen Ordnungen stehen sie noch heute; denn es muß dir alles dienen!
92 Unless thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
Wäre dein Gesetz nicht meine Lust gewesen, so wäre ich vergangen in meinem Elend.
93 I will never forget thy precepts; for by them thou hast quickened me.
Ich will deine Befehle auf ewig nicht vergessen; denn durch sie hast du mich belebt.
94 I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
Ich bin dein; rette mich, denn ich habe deine Befehle gesucht!
95 The wicked have awaited me to destroy me; [but] I attend unto thy testimonies.
Die Gottlosen lauern mir auf, um mich zu verderben; aber ich merke auf deine Zeugnisse.
96 I have seen an end of all perfection: thy commandment is exceeding broad.
Von aller Vollkommenheit habe ich ein Ende gesehen; aber dein Gebot ist unbeschränkt.
97 MEM. Oh how I love thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
Wie habe ich dein Gesetz so lieb! Ich denke darüber nach den ganzen Tag.
98 Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies; for they are ever with me.
Dein Gebot macht mich weiser als meine Feinde; denn es bleibt ewiglich bei mir.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers; for thy testimonies are my (meditation)
Ich bin verständiger geworden als alle meine Lehrer, denn deine Zeugnisse sind mein Sinnen.
100 I understand more than the aged, because I have observed thy precepts.
Ich bin einsichtiger als die Alten; denn ich achte auf deine Befehle.
101 I have refrained my feet from every evil path, that I might keep thy word.
Von allen schlechten Wegen habe ich meine Füße abgehalten, um dein Wort zu befolgen.
102 I have not departed from thy judgments; for it is thou that hast taught me.
Von deinen Verordnungen bin ich nicht abgewichen; denn du hast mich gelehrt.
103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! more than honey to my mouth!
Wie süß ist deine Rede meinem Gaumen, mehr denn Honig meinem Mund!
104 From thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false path.
Von deinen Befehlen werde ich verständig; darum hasse ich jeden Lügenpfad.
105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Dein Wort ist meines Fußes Leuchte und ein Licht für meinen Pfad.
106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
Ich habe geschworen und werde es halten, daß ich die Verordnungen deiner Gerechtigkeit bewahren will.
107 I am afflicted very much; O Jehovah, quicken me according to thy word.
Ich bin tief gebeugt; HERR, erquicke mich nach deinem Wort!
108 Accept, I beseech thee, Jehovah, the voluntary-offerings of my mouth, and teach me thy judgments.
HERR, laß dir wohlgefallen die freiwilligen Opfer meines Mundes und lehre mich deine Verordnungen!
109 My life is continually in my hand; but I do not forget thy law.
Meine Seele ist beständig in meiner Hand, und ich vergesse deines Gesetzes nicht.
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me; but I have not wandered from thy precepts.
Die Gottlosen haben mir eine Schlinge gelegt; aber ich bin von deinen Befehlen nicht abgeirrt.
111 Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
Deine Zeugnisse sind mein ewiges Erbe; denn sie sind meines Herzens Wonne.
112 I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes for ever, unto the end.
Ich habe mein Herz geneigt, deine Satzungen auf ewig zu erfüllen.
113 SAMECH. The double-minded have I hated; but thy law do I love.
Ich hasse die Unentschiedenen; aber dein Gesetz habe ich lieb.
114 Thou art my hiding-place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
Du bist mein Schirm und mein Schild; ich harre auf dein Wort.
115 Depart from me, ye evil-doers; and I will observe the commandments of my God.
Weichet von mir, ihr Übeltäter, daß ich die Gebote meines Gottes befolge!
116 Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live; and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
Unterstütze mich nach deiner Verheißung, daß ich lebe und nicht zuschanden werde mit meiner Hoffnung!
117 Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe; and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.
Stärke du mich, so ist mir geholfen und ich werde mich an deinen Satzungen stets ergötzen!
118 Thou hast set at nought all them that wander from thy statutes; for their deceit is falsehood.
Du wirst alle zu leicht erfinden, die von deinen Satzungen abweichen; denn eitel Betrug ist ihre Täuschung.
119 Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth [like] dross; therefore I love thy testimonies.
Wie Schlacken räumst du alle Gottlosen von der Erde fort; darum liebe ich deine Zeugnisse.
120 My flesh shuddereth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.
Mein Fleisch schaudert aus Furcht vor dir, und ich habe Ehrfurcht vor deinen Verordnungen!
121 AIN. I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.
Ich habe Recht und Gerechtigkeit geübt; überlaß mich nicht meinen Unterdrückern!
122 Be surety for thy servant for good; let not the proud oppress me.
Stehe ein zum Besten deines Knechtes, daß mich die Übermütigen nicht unterdrücken!
123 Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.
Meine Augen schmachten nach deinem Heil und nach dem Wort deiner Gerechtigkeit.
124 Deal with thy servant according to thy loving-kindness, and teach me thy statutes.
Handle mit deinem Knecht nach deiner Gnade und lehre mich deine Satzungen!
125 I am thy servant; give me understanding that I may know thy testimonies.
Ich bin dein Knecht; unterweise mich, daß ich deine Zeugnisse verstehe!
126 It is time for Jehovah to work: they have made void thy law.
Es ist Zeit, daß der HERR handle; sie haben dein Gesetz gebrochen!
127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold.
Darum liebe ich deine Befehle mehr als Gold und als feines Gold;
128 Therefore I regard all [thy] precepts concerning all things to be right: I hate every false path.
darum lobe ich mir alle deine Gebote und hasse jeden trügerischen Pfad.
129 PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful; therefore doth my soul observe them.
Wunderbar sind deine Zeugnisse; darum bewahrt sie meine Seele.
130 The entrance of thy words giveth light, giving understanding unto the simple.
Die Erschließung deiner Worte erleuchtet und macht die Einfältigen verständig.
131 I opened my mouth wide and panted; for I longed for thy commandments.
Begierig öffne ich meinen Mund; denn mich verlangt nach deinen Befehlen.
132 Turn unto me, and be gracious unto me, as thou art wont to do unto those that love thy name.
Wende dich zu mir und sei mir gnädig nach dem Rechte derer, die deinen Namen lieben.
133 Establish my steps in thy word; and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Mache meine Schritte fest durch dein Wort und laß kein Unrecht über mich herrschen!
134 Deliver me from the oppression of man; and I will keep thy precepts.
Erlöse mich von der Bedrückung durch Menschen, so will ich deine Befehle befolgen!
135 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant, and teach me thy statutes.
Laß dein Angesicht leuchten über deinen Knecht und lehre mich deine Satzungen!
136 Mine eyes run down with streams of water, because they keep not thy law.
Tränenströme fließen aus meinen Augen, weil man dein Gesetz nicht befolgt.
137 TZADE. Righteous art thou, Jehovah, and upright are thy judgments.
HERR, du bist gerecht, und deine Verordnungen sind richtig!
138 Thou hast commanded thy testimonies in righteousness and exceeding faithfulness.
Du hast deine Zeugnisse gerecht und sehr treu abgefaßt.
139 My zeal destroyeth me, because mine oppressors have forgotten thy words.
Mein Eifer hat mich verzehrt, weil meine Feinde deine Worte vergessen haben.
140 Thy word is exceeding pure, and thy servant loveth it.
Deine Rede ist wohlgeläutert, und dein Knecht hat sie lieb.
141 I am little and despised: thy precepts have I not forgotten.
Ich bin gering und verachtet; deine Befehle habe ich nicht vergessen.
142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is truth.
Deine Gerechtigkeit ist auf ewig gerecht, und dein Gesetz ist Wahrheit.
143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold upon me: thy commandments are my delights.
Angst und Not haben mich betroffen; aber deine Befehle sind meine Lust.
144 The righteousness of thy testimonies is for ever: give me understanding, and I shall live.
Deine Zeugnisse sind auf ewig gerecht; unterweise mich, so werde ich leben!
145 KOPH. I have called with [my] whole heart; answer me, O Jehovah: I will observe thy statutes.
Ich rufe von ganzem Herzen: HERR, erhöre mich; deine Satzungen will ich befolgen!
146 I call upon thee; save me, and I will keep thy testimonies.
Ich rufe zu dir; errette mich, so will ich deine Zeugnisse bewahren!
147 I anticipate the morning-dawn and I cry: I hope in thy word.
Vor der Morgendämmerung komme ich und schreie; ich harre auf dein Wort.
148 Mine eyes anticipate the night-watches, that I may meditate in thy word.
Meine Augen kommen den Nachtwachen zuvor, daß ich über deine Reden nachdenke.
149 Hear my voice according to thy loving-kindness: O Jehovah, quicken me according to thy judgment.
Höre meine Stimme nach deiner Gnade, o HERR, erquicke mich nach deinem Recht!
150 They have drawn nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.
Die dem Laster nachjagen, sind nah; von deinem Gesetz sind sie fern.
151 Thou, Jehovah, art near, and all thy commandments are truth.

152 From thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
Längst weiß ich aus deinen Zeugnissen, daß du sie auf ewig gegründet hast.
153 RESH. See mine affliction, and deliver me; for I have not forgotten thy law.
Siehe mein Elend an und errette mich; denn ich habe deines Gesetzes nicht vergessen!
154 Plead my cause, and redeem me: quicken me according to thy word.
Führe meine Sache und erlöse mich; erquicke mich durch dein Wort!
155 Salvation is far from the wicked; for they seek not thy statutes.
Das Heil ist fern von den Gottlosen; denn sie fragen nicht nach deinen Satzungen.
156 Many are thy tender mercies, O Jehovah; quicken me according to thy judgments.
Deine Barmherzigkeit ist groß, o HERR; erquicke mich nach deinen Verordnungen!
157 Many are my persecutors and mine oppressors; I have not declined from thy testimonies.
Meiner Verfolger und Widersacher sind viele; dennoch habe ich mich nicht von deinen Zeugnissen abgewandt.
158 I beheld them that deal treacherously, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.
Wenn ich die Abtrünnigen ansehe, so ekelt mir, weil sie dein Wort nicht beachten.
159 See how I have loved thy precepts: quicken me, O Jehovah, according to thy loving-kindness.
Siehe, ich liebe deine Befehle; o HERR, erquicke mich nach deiner Gnade!
160 The sum of thy word is truth, and every righteous judgment of thine is for ever.
Die Summe deines Wortes ist Wahrheit, und alle Verordnungen deiner Gerechtigkeit bleiben ewig.
161 SHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
Fürsten verfolgen mich ohne Ursache; aber vor deinem Wort fürchtet sich mein Herz.
162 I have joy in thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
Ich freue mich über dein Wort wie einer, der große Beute findet.
163 I hate and abhor falsehood; thy law do I love.
Ich hasse Lügen und habe Greuel daran; aber dein Gesetz habe ich lieb.
164 Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.
Ich lobe dich des Tages siebenmal wegen der Ordnungen deiner Gerechtigkeit.
165 Great peace have they that love thy law, and nothing doth stumble them.
Großen Frieden haben, die dein Gesetz lieben, und nichts bringt sie zu Fall.
166 I have hoped for thy salvation, O Jehovah, and have done thy commandments.
Ich warte auf dein Heil, o HERR, und erfülle deine Befehle.
167 My soul hath kept thy testimonies, and I love them exceedingly.
Meine Seele bewahrt deine Zeugnisse und liebt sie sehr.
168 I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies; for all my ways are before thee.
Ich habe deine Befehle und deine Zeugnisse bewahrt; denn alle meine Wege sind vor dir.
169 TAU. Let my cry come near before thee, Jehovah: give me understanding according to thy word.
HERR, laß mein Schreien vor dich kommen; unterweise mich nach deinem Wort!
170 Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.
Laß mein Flehen vor dich kommen; errette mich nach deiner Verheißung!
171 My lips shall pour forth praise when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
Meine Lippen sollen überfließen von Lob, wenn du mich deine Satzungen lehrst.
172 My tongue shall speak aloud of thy word; for all thy commandments are righteousness.
Meine Zunge soll deine Rede singen; denn alle deine Gebote sind gerecht.
173 Let thy hand be for my help; for I have chosen thy precepts.
Deine Hand komme mir zu Hilfe; denn ich habe deine Befehle erwählt.
174 I have longed for thy salvation, O Jehovah, and thy law is my delight.
Ich habe Verlangen nach deinem Heil, o HERR, und dein Gesetz ist meine Lust.
175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.
Meine Seele soll leben und dich loben, und deine Verordnungen seien meine Hilfe!
176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep: seek thy servant; for I have not forgotten thy commandments.
Ich bin verirrt wie ein verlorenes Schaf; suche deinen Knecht! Denn deine Gebote habe ich nicht vergessen!
