Psalms 118
1 Give ye thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
Pasalamati si Yahweh, tungod kay siya maayo, kay ang iyang matinud-anon nga kasabotan molungtad sa kahangtoran.
2 Oh let Israel say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
Tugoti nga moingon ang Israel, “Ang iyang matinud-anon nga kasabotan molungtad sa kahangtoran.”
3 Oh let the house of Aaron say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
Tugoti ang panimalay ni Aaron nga mosulti, “Ang iyang matinud-anon nga kasabotan molungtad sa kahangtoran.”
4 Oh let them that fear Jehovah say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
Tugoti ang maunongon nga mga sumusunod ni Yahweh mosulti, “Ang iyang matinud-anon nga kasabotan molungtad sa kahangtoran.”
5 I called upon Jah in distress; Jah answered me [and set me] in a large place.
Sa akong pag-antos mitawag ako kang Yahweh; gitubag ako ni Yahweh ug gihimo niya akong gawasnon.
6 Jehovah is for me, I will not fear; what can man do unto me?
Uban kanako si Yahweh; dili ako mahadlok; unsa may mabuhat sa tawo kanako?
7 Jehovah is for me among them that help me; and I shall see [my desire] upon them that hate me.
Anaa si Yahweh sa akong kiliran isip akong magtatabang; maglantaw ako sa kadaogan batok niadtong nagdumot kanako.
8 It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in man;
Mas maayo pa nga modangop kang Yahweh kaysa mosalig sa tawo.
9 It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in nobles.
Mas maayo pa nga modangop kang Yahweh kaysa ibutang ang pagsalig sa mga prinsipe.
10 All nations encompassed me; but in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.
Ang tanang kanasoran nagpalibot kanako; sa ngalan ni Yahweh gipamutol ko (sila)
11 They encompassed me, yea, encompassed me; but in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.
Gilibotan ako nila; oo, gilibotan ako nila; sa ngalan ni Yahweh gipamutol ko (sila)
12 They encompassed me like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.
Gilibotan ako nila sama sa mga buyog; nangawala (sila) sama kapaspas sa kalayo diha sa mga tunok; sa ngalan ni Yahweh gipamutol ko (sila)
13 Thou hast thrust hard at me that I might fall; but Jehovah helped me.
Mihasmag (sila) kanako aron tumbahon ako, apan gitabangan ako ni Yahweh.
14 My strength and song is Jah, and he is become my salvation.
Si Yahweh ang akong kusog ug kalipay, ug siya ang nagluwas kanako.
15 The voice of triumph and salvation is in the tents of the righteous: the right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly;
Ang malipayong panaghugyaw sa kadaogan madunggan sa mga tolda sa matarong; ang tuong kamot ni Yahweh nagmadaugon.
16 The right hand of Jehovah is exalted, the right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly.
Ang tuong kamot ni Yahweh gibayaw; ang tuong kamot ni Yahweh nagmadaugon.
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of Jah.
Dili ako mamatay apan mabuhi ug ipahayag ang mga buhat ni Yahweh.
18 Jah hath chastened me sore; but he hath not given me over unto death.
Apan hilabihan ang pagsilot kanako ni Yahweh; apan wala niya ako itugyan sa kamatayon.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter into them; Jah will I praise.
Ablihi alang kanako ang ganghaan sa pagkamatarong; mosulod ako kanila ug magpasalamat ako kang Yahweh.
20 This is the gate of Jehovah: the righteous shall enter therein.
Mao kini ang ganghaan ni Yahweh; ang matarong makasulod pinaagi niini.
21 I will give thee thanks, for thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.
Pasalamatan ko ikaw, tungod kay imo akong gitubag, ug ikaw ang nahimo kong kaluwasan.
22 [The] stone which the builders rejected hath become the head of the corner:
Ang bato nga gisalikway sa mga magtutukod nahimo nang patukoranan.
23 This is of Jehovah; it is wonderful in our eyes.
Buhat kini ni Yahweh; katingalahan kini sa atong mga mata.
24 This is the day that Jehovah hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Mao kini ang adlaw nga namuhat si Yahweh; magmaya ug maglipay kita niini.
25 Oh save, Jehovah, I beseech thee; Jehovah, I beseech thee, oh send prosperity!
Palihog, Yahweh, ihatag kanamo ang kadaogan! Palihog, Yahweh, ihatag kanamo ang kalamposan!
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of Jehovah. We have blessed you out of the house of Jehovah.
Bulahan siya nga miduol sa ngalan ni Yahweh; gipanalanginan namo kamo gikan sa panimalay ni Yahweh.
27 Jehovah is God, and he hath given us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, — up to the horns of the altar.
Si Yahweh Dios, ug gihatagan kita niya ug kahayag; hikti ang halad ngadto sa sungay sa halaran.
28 Thou art my God, and I will give thee thanks; my God, I will exalt thee.
Ikaw ang akong Dios, ug magpasalamat ako kanimo; ikaw ang akong Dios; ibayaw ko ikaw.
29 Give ye thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
O, pasalamati si Yahweh; kay siya maayo; kay ang iyang matinud-anon nga kasabotan molungtad sa kahangtoran.
