Psalms 116
1 I love Jehovah, for he hath heard my voice [and] my supplications;
Miłuję Pana, iż wysłuchał głos mój, i prośby moje.
2 For he hath inclined his ear unto me, and I will call upon him during [all] my days.
Albowiem nakłonił ucha swego ku mnie, gdym go wzywał za dni moich.
3 The bands of death encompassed me, and the anguish of Sheol took hold of me; I found trouble and sorrow: (Sheol h7585)
Ogarnęły mię były boleści śmierci, a utrapienia grobu zjęły mię; ucisk i boleść przyszła na mię. (Sheol h7585)
4 Then called I upon the name of Jehovah: I beseech thee, Jehovah, deliver my soul.
I wzywałem imienia Pańskiego, mówiąc: Proszę, o Panie! wybaw duszę moję.
5 Gracious is Jehovah and righteous; and our God is merciful.
Miłościwy Pan i sprawiedliwy, Bóg nasz litościwy.
6 Jehovah keepeth the simple: I was brought low, and he saved me.
Pan prostaczków strzeże; byłem uciśniony, a wspomógł mię.
7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for Jehovah hath dealt bountifully with thee.
Nawróć się, duszo moja! do odpocznienia swego; albowiem ci Pan dobrze uczynił.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, my feet from falling.
Bo wyrwał duszę moję od śmierci, oczy moje od płaczu, nogę moję od upadku.
9 I will walk before Jehovah in the land of the living.
Będę chodził ustawicznie przed oblicznością Pańską w ziemi żyjących.
10 I believed, therefore have I spoken. As for me, I was greatly afflicted.
Uwierzyłem, dlategom mówił, chociażem bardzo był utrapiony.
11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.
Jam był rzekł w zatrwożeniu mojem: Wszelki człowiek kłamca.
12 What shall I render unto Jehovah, [for] all his benefits toward me?
Cóż oddam Panu za wszystkie dobrodziejstwa jego, które mi uczynił?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of Jehovah.
Kielich obfitego zbawienia wezmę, a imienia Pańskiego wzywać będę,
14 I will perform my vows unto Jehovah, yea, before all his people.
Śluby moje oddam Panu, a to zaraz przed wszystkim ludem jego.
15 Precious in the sight of Jehovah is the death of his saints.
Droga jest przed oczyma Pańskiemi śmierć świętych jego.
16 Yea, Jehovah! for I am thy servant; I am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
O mój Panie! żem ja sługą twoim, jam sługą twoim, synem służebnicy twojej, rozwiązałeś związki moje.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of Jehovah.
Tobie ofiarować będę ofiarę chwały, i imienia Pańskiego wzywać będę.
18 I will perform my vows unto Jehovah, yea, before all his people,
Śluby moje oddam Panu, a to zaraz przed wszystkim ludem jego,
19 In the courts of Jehovah's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah!
W przysionkach domu Pańskiego, w pośrodku ciebie, Jeruzalemie! Halleluja.
