< Psalms 114 >
1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language,
Ni ansau men Israel lipa sang Äkipten, kadaudok en Iakop sang nan wai,
2 Judah was his sanctuary, Israel his dominion.
I ansau men Iuda wiala sapwilim a saraui kan, o men Israel sapwilim a wei.
3 The sea saw it and fled, the Jordan turned back;
Madau kilanger, ap tangwei, o Iordan pal pasanger;
4 The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs.
Nana kan lusilus dueta sip ol, o dol akan dueta sippul akan.
5 What ailed thee, thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou turnedst back?
Madau, da me koe tangweier ki? Koe Iordan, da me koe palki pasanger?
6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams? ye hills, like lambs?
Komail nana kan, da me komail lusiluski dueta sip ol, o komail dol akan dueta sippul akan?
7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,
Sappa, koe en rerer mon Ieowa, mon Kot en Iakop,
8 Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
Me kotin kawuki ong len pil paip o, o kantakai ong utun pil.
