Psalms 114

1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language,

೧ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ, ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮನೆತನದವರು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ,

2 Judah was his sanctuary, Israel his dominion.

೨ಯೆಹೂದವು ದೇವರ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನವೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಆತನ ರಾಜ್ಯವೂ ಆಯಿತು.

3 The sea saw it and fled, the Jordan turned back;

೩ಸಮುದ್ರವು ಕಂಡು ಓಡಿಹೋಯಿತು; ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ಹೊಳೆಯು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿತು.

4 The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs.

೪ಪರ್ವತಗಳು ಟಗರುಗಳಂತೆಯೂ, ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳಂತೆಯೂ ಹಾರಾಡಿದವು.

5 What ailed thee, thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou turnedst back?

೫ಸಮುದ್ರವೇ, ನಿನಗೇನಾಯಿತು? ಏಕೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀ? ಯೊರ್ದನೇ, ಏಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುತ್ತೀ?

6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams? ye hills, like lambs?

೬ಪರ್ವತಗಳೇ, ನೀವು ಟಗರುಗಳಂತೆಯೂ, ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳೇ, ನೀವು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳಂತೆಯೂ ಏಕೆ ಹಾರಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ?

7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,

೭ಭೂಲೋಕವೇ, ಕರ್ತನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಯಾಕೋಬನ ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ, ಕಂಪಿಸು.

8 Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

೮ಆತನು ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆರೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಶಿಲೆಯನ್ನು ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
