3 The sea saw it and fled, the Jordan turned back;

4 The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs.
Monnaw teh tutan patetlah, monruinaw teh tuca patetlah a coukdouk awh.
5 What ailed thee, thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou turnedst back?
Oe talîpui bangdawkmaw na yawng, Oe Jordan palang, bangdawkmaw na ban.
6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams? ye hills, like lambs?
Oe monnaw bangdawkmaw tutan patetlah na coukdouk. Oe monruinaw bangdawkmaw tuca patetlah na coukdouk awh.
7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,
Oe talai, BAWIPA hmalah pâyaw nateh, Jakop Cathut hmalah pâyaw haw.
8 Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
Ama teh, lungsong hah tuikamuem lah, lungtaw hah tuiphuek lah kacoungsakkung doeh.
