Psalms 112

1 Hallelujah! Blessed is the man that feareth Jehovah, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

੧ਹਲਲੂਯਾਹ! ਧੰਨ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਭੈਅ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਗਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

2 His seed shall be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

੨ਉਹ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਸਚਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

3 Wealth and riches [shall be] in his house; and his righteousness abideth for ever.

੩ਧਨ ਦੌਲਤ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਧਰਮ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness; he is gracious, and merciful, and righteous.

੪ਸਚਿਆਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਨਣ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਦਯਾਲੂ, ਕਿਰਪਾਲੂ ਤੇ ਧਰਮੀ ਹਨ।

5 It is well with the man that is gracious and lendeth; he will sustain his cause in judgment.

੫ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਦਯਾਵਾਨ ਤੇ ਉਧਾਰ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਾਏਗਾ।

6 For he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

੬ਉਹ ਕਦੀ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਡੋਲੇਗਾ, ਧਰਮੀ ਸਦਾ ਦੀ ਯਾਦਗੀਰੀ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is fixed confiding in Jehovah;

੭ਉਹ ਬੁਰੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਡਰਦਾ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ।

8 His heart is maintained, he is not afraid, until he see [his desire] upon his oppressors.

੮ਉਹ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਤਕੜਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਨਾ ਡੋਲੇਗਾ, ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ (ਆਪਣੀ ਜਿੱਤ) ਨਾ ਵੇਖੇ।

9 He scattereth abroad, he giveth to the needy; his righteousness abideth for ever: his horn shall be exalted with honour.

੯ਉਹ ਨੇ ਵੰਡਿਆ, ਉਹ ਨੇ ਕੰਗਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਧਰਮ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸਿੰਗ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਚਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

10 The wicked [man] shall see [it] and be vexed; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

੧੦ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਇਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕੁੜ੍ਹੇਗਾ, ਦੰਦ ਪੀਹ ਪੀਹ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਗਲ਼ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਦੀ ਹਿਰਸ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
