Psalms 109
1 To the chief Musician. Of David. A Psalm. O God of my praise, be not silent:
१दाविदाचे स्तोत्र हे माझ्या स्तवनाच्या देवा, शांत राहू नको.
2 For the mouth of the wicked [man] and the mouth of deceit are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue,
२कारण दुष्ट आणि कपटी माझ्यावर हल्ला करतात; ते माझ्याविरूद्ध खोटे बोलतात.
3 And with words of hatred have they encompassed me; and they fight against me without a cause.
३त्यांनी मला वेढले आहे आणि माझ्याबद्दल द्वेषयुक्त गोष्टी सांगतात. आणि ते विनाकारण माझ्यावर हल्ला करतात.
4 For my love they are mine adversaries; but I [give myself unto] prayer.
४माझ्या प्रेमाच्या बदल्यात ते माझी निंदानालस्ती करतात. पण मी त्यांच्यासाठी प्रार्थना करतो.
5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
५मी केलेल्या चांगल्यासाठी वाईट, आणि त्यांनी माझ्या प्रीतीची फेड द्वेषाने केली.
6 Set a wicked [man] over him, and let [the] adversary stand at his right hand;
६या लोकांवर तू दुर्जन मनुष्यास शत्रूसारखा नेम; त्यांच्या उजव्या हाताकडे आरोप करणाऱ्याला उभा ठेव.
7 When he shall be judged, let him go out guilty, and let his prayer become sin;
७जेव्हा त्याचा न्याय होईल, तेव्हा तो अपराधी म्हणून सापडो; त्याची प्रार्थना पापच मानली जावो.
8 Let his days be few, let another take his office;
८त्याचे दिवस थोडे होवोत; दुसरा त्याचा अधिकार घेवो;
9 Let his sons be fatherless, and his wife a widow;
९त्याची मुले पितृहीन आणि त्याची पत्नी विधवा होवो.
10 Let his sons be vagabonds and beg, and let them seek [their bread] far from their desolate places;
१०त्याची मुले इकडे तिकडे भटकत आणि भीक मागत फिरोत, ती आपल्या ओसाड ठिकाणाहून दूर जाऊन निवेदन करोत.
11 Let the usurer cast the net over all that he hath, and let strangers despoil his labour;
११सावकार त्यांचे सर्वस्व हिरावून घेवो; त्याची कमाई परके लुटून घेवोत;
12 Let there be none to extend kindness unto him, neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children;
१२त्यांना कोणीही दया देऊ नये; त्याच्या पितृहीन मुलांची कोणीही कीव करू नये.
13 Let his posterity be cut off; in the generation following let their name be blotted out:
१३त्याचे वंशज कापून टाकली जावोत; पुढच्या पिढीत त्याचे नाव खोडले जावो.
14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with Jehovah, and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out;
१४परमेश्वरास त्याच्या पूर्वजांच्या पापांची आठवण राहो. त्याच्या आईची पापे कधीही विसरली न जावोत.
15 Let them be before Jehovah continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth:
१५परमेश्वरापुढे त्यांचे पातक सदैव असोत; परमेश्वर त्यांचे स्मरण पृथ्वीवरून काढून टाको.
16 Because he remembered not to shew kindness, but persecuted the afflicted and needy man, and the broken in heart, to slay him.
१६कारण या मनुष्याने कधीही दया दाखविण्याची पर्वा केली नाही, परंतु त्याऐवजी पीडलेल्यांचा छळ आणि गरजवंत व धैर्य खचलेल्यांचा वध केला.
17 And he loved cursing; so let it come unto him. And he delighted not in blessing; and let it be far from him.
१७त्यास शाप देणे आवडते, म्हणून तो परत त्याच्यावर आला. त्याने आशीर्वादाचा द्वेष केला; म्हणून त्याच्यावर आशीर्वाद आले नाहीत.
18 And he clothed himself with cursing like his vestment; so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones;
१८त्याने त्याच्या वस्राप्रमाणे आपल्याला शापाचे वस्र पांघरले, आणि त्याचे शाप हे पाण्याप्रमाणे त्याच्या अंतर्यामात, तेलासारखे त्याच्या हाडात आले.
19 Let it be unto him as a garment with which he covereth himself, and for a girdle wherewith he is constantly girded.
१९त्याचे शाप त्यास पांघरावयाच्या वस्राप्रमाणे होवो, ते नेहमी वापरावयाच्या कंबरपट्ट्याप्रमाणे तो त्यास वेढून राहो.
20 Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from Jehovah, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
२०माझ्या आरोप्यास, माझ्याविरूद्ध वाईट बोलणाऱ्यास परमेश्वराकडून हेच प्रतिफळ आहे
21 But do thou for me, Jehovah, Lord, for thy name's sake; because thy loving-kindness is good, deliver me:
२१हे परमेश्वरा, माझा प्रभू, कृपा करून तुझ्या नावाकरता मला वागवून घे. कारण तुझ्या कराराची विश्वसनियता उत्तम आहे म्हणून मला वाचव.
22 For I am afflicted and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
२२कारण मी पीडित आणि गरजवंत आहे, आणि माझे हृदय माझ्यामध्ये घायाळ झाले आहे.
23 I am gone like a shadow when it lengtheneth; I am tossed about like the locust;
२३मी संध्याकाळच्या सावल्यांप्रमाणे दिसेनासा झालो आहे; मी टोळाप्रमाणे हुसकावला जात आहे.
24 My knees are failing through fasting, and my flesh hath lost its fatness;
२४उपासाने माझे गुडघे अशक्त झाले आहेत; मी त्वचा आणि हाडे असा होत आहे.
25 And I am become a reproach unto them; [when] they look upon me they shake their heads.
२५माझा विरोध्यास मी निंदेचा विषय झालो आहे, ते जेव्हा माझ्याकडे बघतात, तेव्हा आपले डोके हालवतात.
26 Help me, Jehovah my God; save me according to thy loving-kindness:
२६हे माझ्या परमेश्वरा, माझ्या देवा, मला मदत कर; तुझ्या कराराच्या विश्वसनीयतेने माझा उध्दार कर.
27 That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, Jehovah, hast done it.
२७हे परमेश्वरा, त्यांनी हे जाणावे की, ही तुझी करणी आहे, तूच हे केले आहेस.
28 Let them curse, but bless thou; when they rise up, let them be ashamed, and let thy servant rejoice.
२८जरी त्यांनी मला शाप दिला, पण कृपा करून मला आशीर्वाद दे; जेव्हा ते हल्ला करतील, तेव्हा ते लज्जित होतील, परंतु तुझा सेवक आनंदी होईल.
29 Let mine adversaries be clothed with confusion, and let them cover themselves with their shame as with a mantle.
२९माझे विरोधी वस्राप्रमाणे लाज पांघरतील, आणि ते त्यांची लाज झग्याप्रमाणे पांघरतील.
30 I will greatly celebrate Jehovah with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
३०मी आनंदाने आपल्या मुखाने मनापासून परमेश्वरास धन्यवाद देईन; लोकसमुदायासमोर मी त्याची स्तुती करीन.
31 For he standeth at the right hand of the needy, to save him from those that judge his soul.
३१कारण तो पीडितांना धमकी देणाऱ्यांपासून, त्यांचे तारण करायला तो त्यांच्या उजव्या हाताला उभा राहतो.
