Psalms 105
1 Give ye thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; make known his acts among the peoples.
१यहोवा का धन्यवाद करो, उससे प्रार्थना करो, देश-देश के लोगों में उसके कामों का प्रचार करो!
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him; meditate upon all his wondrous works.
२उसके लिये गीत गाओ, उसके लिये भजन गाओ, उसके सब आश्चर्यकर्मों का वर्णन करो!
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.
३उसके पवित्र नाम की बड़ाई करो; यहोवा के खोजियों का हृदय आनन्दित हो!
4 Seek Jehovah and his strength, seek his face continually;
४यहोवा और उसकी सामर्थ्य को खोजो, उसके दर्शन के लगातार खोजी बने रहो!
5 Remember his wondrous works which he hath done, his miracles and the judgments of his mouth:
५उसके किए हुए आश्चर्यकर्मों को स्मरण करो, उसके चमत्कार और निर्णय स्मरण करो!
6 Ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
६हे उसके दास अब्राहम के वंश, हे याकूब की सन्तान, तुम तो उसके चुने हुए हो!
7 He, Jehovah, is our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
७वही हमारा परमेश्वर यहोवा है; पृथ्वी भर में उसके निर्णय होते हैं।
8 He is ever mindful of his covenant, — the word which he commanded to a thousand generations, —
८वह अपनी वाचा को सदा स्मरण रखता आया है, यह वही वचन है जो उसने हजार पीढ़ियों के लिये ठहराया है;
9 Which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
९वही वाचा जो उसने अब्राहम के साथ बाँधी, और उसके विषय में उसने इसहाक से शपथ खाई,
10 And he confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, unto Israel for an everlasting covenant,
१०और उसी को उसने याकूब के लिये विधि करके, और इस्राएल के लिये यह कहकर सदा की वाचा करके दृढ़ किया,
11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
११“मैं कनान देश को तुझी को दूँगा, वह बाँट में तुम्हारा निज भाग होगा।”
12 When they were a few men in number, of small account, and strangers in it.
१२उस समय तो वे गिनती में थोड़े थे, वरन् बहुत ही थोड़े, और उस देश में परदेशी थे।
13 And they went from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
१३वे एक जाति से दूसरी जाति में, और एक राज्य से दूसरे राज्य में फिरते रहे;
14 He suffered no man to oppress them, and reproved kings for their sakes,
१४परन्तु उसने किसी मनुष्य को उन पर अत्याचार करने न दिया; और वह राजाओं को उनके निमित्त यह धमकी देता था,
15 [Saying, ] Touch not mine anointed ones, and do my prophets no harm.
१५“मेरे अभिषिक्तों को मत छूओ, और न मेरे नबियों की हानि करो!”
16 And he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole staff of bread.
१६फिर उसने उस देश में अकाल भेजा, और अन्न के सब आधार को दूर कर दिया।
17 He sent a man before them: Joseph was sold for a bondman.
१७उसने यूसुफ नामक एक पुरुष को उनसे पहले भेजा था, जो दास होने के लिये बेचा गया था।
18 They afflicted his feet with fetters; his soul came into irons;
१८लोगों ने उसके पैरों में बेड़ियाँ डालकर उसे दुःख दिया; वह लोहे की साँकलों से जकड़ा गया;
19 Until the time when what he said came about: the word of Jehovah tried him.
१९जब तक कि उसकी बात पूरी न हुई तब तक यहोवा का वचन उसे कसौटी पर कसता रहा।
20 The king sent and loosed him — the ruler of peoples — and let him go free.
२०तब राजा ने दूत भेजकर उसे निकलवा लिया, और देश-देश के लोगों के स्वामी ने उसके बन्धन खुलवाए;
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions:
२१उसने उसको अपने भवन का प्रधान और अपनी पूरी सम्पत्ति का अधिकारी ठहराया,
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.
२२कि वह उसके हाकिमों को अपनी इच्छा के अनुसार नियंत्रित करे और पुरनियों को ज्ञान सिखाए।
23 And Israel came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
२३फिर इस्राएल मिस्र में आया; और याकूब हाम के देश में रहा।
24 And he made his people exceeding fruitful, and made them mightier than their oppressors.
२४तब उसने अपनी प्रजा को गिनती में बहुत बढ़ाया, और उसके शत्रुओं से अधिक बलवन्त किया।
25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
२५उसने मिस्रियों के मन को ऐसा फेर दिया, कि वे उसकी प्रजा से बैर रखने, और उसके दासों से छल करने लगे।
26 He sent Moses his servant, [and] Aaron whom he had chosen:
२६उसने अपने दास मूसा को, और अपने चुने हुए हारून को भेजा।
27 They set his signs among them, and miracles in the land of Ham.
२७उन्होंने मिस्रियों के बीच उसकी ओर से भाँति-भाँति के चिन्ह, और हाम के देश में चमत्कार दिखाए।
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
२८उसने अंधकार कर दिया, और अंधियारा हो गया; और उन्होंने उसकी बातों को न माना।
29 He turned their waters into blood, and caused their fish to die.
२९उसने मिस्रियों के जल को लहू कर डाला, और मछलियों को मार डाला।
30 Their land swarmed with frogs, — in the chambers of their kings.
३०मेंढ़क उनकी भूमि में वरन् उनके राजा की कोठरियों में भी भर गए।
31 He spoke, and there came dog-flies, [and] gnats in all their borders.
३१उसने आज्ञा दी, तब डांस आ गए, और उनके सारे देश में कुटकियाँ आ गईं।
32 He gave them hail for rain, [and] flaming fire in their land;
३२उसने उनके लिये जलवृष्टि के बदले ओले, और उनके देश में धधकती आग बरसाई।
33 And he smote their vines and their fig-trees, and broke the trees of their borders.
३३और उसने उनकी दाखलताओं और अंजीर के वृक्षों को वरन् उनके देश के सब पेड़ों को तोड़ डाला।
34 He spoke, and the locust came, and the cankerworm, even without number;
३४उसने आज्ञा दी तब अनगिनत टिड्डियाँ, और कीड़े आए,
35 And they devoured every herb in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
३५और उन्होंने उनके देश के सब अन्न आदि को खा डाला; और उनकी भूमि के सब फलों को चट कर गए।
36 And he smote every firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigour.
३६उसने उनके देश के सब पहिलौठों को, उनके पौरूष के सब पहले फल को नाश किया।
37 And he brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble among their tribes.
३७तब वह इस्राएल को सोना चाँदी दिलाकर निकाल लाया, और उनमें से कोई निर्बल न था।
38 Egypt rejoiced at their departure; for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
३८उनके जाने से मिस्री आनन्दित हुए, क्योंकि उनका डर उनमें समा गया था।
39 He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
३९उसने छाया के लिये बादल फैलाया, और रात को प्रकाश देने के लिये आग प्रगट की।
40 They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
४०उन्होंने माँगा तब उसने बटेरें पहुँचाई, और उनको स्वर्गीय भोजन से तृप्त किया।
41 He opened the rock, and waters gushed forth; they ran in the dry places [like] a river.
४१उसने चट्टान फाड़ी तब पानी बह निकला; और निर्जल भूमि पर नदी बहने लगी।
42 For he remembered his holy word, [and] Abraham his servant;
४२क्योंकि उसने अपने पवित्र वचन और अपने दास अब्राहम को स्मरण किया।
43 And he brought forth his people with gladness, his chosen with rejoicing;
४३वह अपनी प्रजा को हर्षित करके और अपने चुने हुओं से जयजयकार कराके निकाल लाया।
44 And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the labour of the peoples:
४४और उनको जाति-जाति के देश दिए; और वे अन्य लोगों के श्रम के फल के अधिकारी किए गए,
45 That they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Hallelujah!
४५कि वे उसकी विधियों को मानें, और उसकी व्यवस्था को पूरी करें। यहोवा की स्तुति करो!
