< Psalms 105 >

1 Give ye thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; make known his acts among the peoples.
BOEIPA te uem uh lah. A ming te khue uh lah. A khoboe te pilnam rhoek taengah tukkil uh lah.
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him; meditate upon all his wondrous works.
Amah te hlai uh lah. Amah te tingtoeng uh lamtah amah kah khobaerhambae boeih te lolmang taeng uh lah.
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.
A ming cim neh thangthen uh lamtah, BOEIPA aka tlap rhoek kah a lungbuei tah a kohoe saeh.
4 Seek Jehovah and his strength, seek his face continually;
BOEIPA neh amah kah a sarhi te tlap lah. A maelhmai khaw tlap taitu lah.
5 Remember his wondrous works which he hath done, his miracles and the judgments of his mouth:
A kopoekrhai a saii neh a ka dongkah laitloeknah bangla anih khobaerhambae khaw,
6 Ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
A sal Abraham tiingan neh a coelh Jakob koca rhoek loh thoelh uh lah.
7 He, Jehovah, is our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
BOEIPA amah ni mamih kah Pathen coeng. A laitloeknah khaw diklai pum ah om.
8 He is ever mindful of his covenant, — the word which he commanded to a thousand generations, —
A paipi te kumhal duela a thoelh dongah cadilcahma thawngkhat ham olka a uen.
9 Which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
Abraham neh Isaak taengah a saii a olhlo te,
10 And he confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, unto Israel for an everlasting covenant,
Jakob taengah oltlueh la, Israel taengah kumhal paipi la a sut pah.
11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
Te dongah, “Kanaan kho rhi te na rho la nang taengah kam paek ni,” na ti nah.
12 When they were a few men in number, of small account, and strangers in it.

13 And they went from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
Te vaengah namtom taeng lamkah namtom taengla, ram pakhat lamkah pilnam pakhat taengla poengdoe uh.
14 He suffered no man to oppress them, and reproved kings for their sakes,

15 [Saying, ] Touch not mine anointed ones, and do my prophets no harm.
Ka koelh soah ben boel lamtah ka tonghma rhoek te thaehuet thil boeh,” a ti nah.
16 And he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole staff of bread.
Khokha a khue vaengah kho khuiah conghol neh caak boeih te a phae pah.
17 He sent a man before them: Joseph was sold for a bondman.
Amih hmai kah a tueih hlang, Joseph te sal bangla a yoih.
18 They afflicted his feet with fetters; his soul came into irons;
A kho te hlong neh a phaep pah uh tih, a hinglu ah thicung loh a toeh.
19 Until the time when what he said came about: the word of Jehovah tried him.
A olthui a thoeng tue a pha due BOEIPA kah olthui loh ol loh anih te a cil a poe.
20 The king sent and loosed him — the ruler of peoples — and let him go free.
Manghai loh a tah dongah pilnam aka taem loh anih a doek tih a hlah.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions:
Amah im kah boei neh a hnopai boeih aka taemrhai hamla,
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.
A hinglu bangla a mangpa rhoek te khoh tih a hamca rhoek te cueih sak ham te a khueh.
23 And Israel came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
Te vaengah Israel loh Egypt la kun tih Jakob loh Ham kho ah bakuep.
24 And he made his people exceeding fruitful, and made them mightier than their oppressors.
Tedae a pilnam te muep a pungtai sak tih a rhal rhoek lakah a yet sak.
25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
BOEIPA loh a sal rhoek te rhaithi sak tih, a pilnam aka hmuhuet ham Egypt rhoek kah lungbuei te a maelh pah.
26 He sent Moses his servant, [and] Aaron whom he had chosen:
A sal Moses neh anih ham a coelh Aaron te a tueih.
27 They set his signs among them, and miracles in the land of Ham.
Amih rhoi loh Egypt rhoek taengah Boeipa kah miknoek olka a tueng sak rhoi tih, Ham kho ah khaw kopoekrhai hno te a tueng sak rhoi.
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
Khohmuep a tueih tih a hmuep sak dongah Boeipa kah olthui olka te koek uh thai pawh.
29 He turned their waters into blood, and caused their fish to die.
A tui te thii la a poeh sak tih a nga khaw a duek sak.
30 Their land swarmed with frogs, — in the chambers of their kings.
A kho kah bukak rhoek te a manghai rhoek kah imkhui la a khae sak.
31 He spoke, and there came dog-flies, [and] gnats in all their borders.
Amah loh a uen tih a khorhi tom ah pil neh pilhlip uihli tlung.
32 He gave them hail for rain, [and] flaming fire in their land;
Khonal te rhael la a poeh sak tih a kho ah hmaisai hmai la coeng.
33 And he smote their vines and their fig-trees, and broke the trees of their borders.
A misur neh a thaibu te khaw a haih pah tih a khorhi kah thing te a khaem pah.
34 He spoke, and the locust came, and the cankerworm, even without number;
A uen bal tih kaisih neh lungang te tae na pawt la halo.
35 And they devoured every herb in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
Te vaengah a kho kah baelhing boeih a caak tih a khohmuen kah a thaihtae khaw a caak pah.
36 And he smote every firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigour.
A kho khuikah caming boeih neh a thahuem boeih khuikah a thaihcuek te a ngawn pah.
37 And he brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble among their tribes.
Te vaengah amih te cak neh, sui neh ham pawk puei dongah amah koca rhoek khuikah tah paloe pawh.
38 Egypt rejoiced at their departure; for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
Amih Egypt rhoek te birhihnah loh a vuei tih amih rhoek a nong vaengah a kohoe uh.
39 He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
Himbaiyan bangla cingmai a yaal pah tih khoyin ah hmai a vang pah.
40 They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
A bih vaengah tanghuem a khuen pah tih vaan kah buh te amih a kum sak.
41 He opened the rock, and waters gushed forth; they ran in the dry places [like] a river.
Lungpang a ong vaengah tui ha phuet tih rhamrhae ah tuiva la a long sak te,
42 For he remembered his holy word, [and] Abraham his servant;
a sal Abraham taengkah a olkhueh cim te a poek dongah ni.
43 And he brought forth his people with gladness, his chosen with rejoicing;
A pilnam khaw omngaihnah tamlung a coelh neh a khuen.
44 And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the labour of the peoples:
Te vaengah namtu rhoek kah a thakthaenah namtom khohmuen te a paek tih a pang uh te,
45 That they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Hallelujah!
a oltlueh ngaithuen sak ham neh a olkhueng te kueinah sak ham ni. BOEIPA te thangthen lah.
