< Psalms 104 >
1 Bless Jehovah, O my soul! Jehovah my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with majesty and splendour;
Rumbidza Jehovha, mweya wangu. Haiwa Jehovha Mwari wangu, muri mukuru kwazvo; makashongedzwa nokubwinya noumambo.
2 Covering thyself with light as with a garment, stretching out the heavens like a tent-curtain; —
Iye anozviputira muchiedza seanozviputira nenguo; anotatamura matenga kunge tende
3 Who layeth the beams of his upper chambers in the waters, who maketh clouds his chariot, who walketh upon the wings of the wind;
uye anogadzika matanda edzimba dzake dzapamusoro pamusoro pemvura yadzo zhinji. Anoita makore ngoro dzake, uye anokwira pamapapiro emhepo.
4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flame of fire.
Anoita mhepo nhume dzake, namazhenje omoto varanda vake.
5 He laid the earth upon its foundations: it shall not be removed for ever.
Akamisa nyika pamusoro penheyo dzayo; haingatongozungunuswi.
6 Thou hadst covered it with the deep, as with a vesture; the waters stood above the mountains:
Makaifukidza nokwakadzika somunofukidza nenguo; mvura zhinji yakamira pamusoro pamakomo.
7 At thy rebuke they fled, at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away; —
Asi pakutsiura kwenyu mvura zhinji yakatiza, pakunzwa kutinhira wenyu yakatiza;
8 The mountains rose, the valleys sank, unto the place which thou hadst founded for them; —
yakayerera napamusoro pamakomo, ikadzika nomumipata, ichienda kunzvimbo yamakairayira.
9 Thou hast set a bound which they may not pass over, that they turn not again to cover the earth.
Makatara muganhu waisingadariki; haichazombofukidzizve nyika.
10 He sendeth the springs into the valleys: they run among the mountains;
Anoita kuti matsime adire mvura mumipata; inoyerera napakati pamakomo.
11 They give drink to every beast of the field; the wild asses quench their thirst.
Anonwisa mhuka dzose dzesango mvura; mbizi dzinopedza nyota yadzo.
12 The birds of heaven dwell by them; they give forth their voice from among the branches.
Shiri dzedenga dzinovaka matendere adzo pedyo nemvura; dzinorira dziri pakati pamatavi.
13 He watereth the mountains from his upper-chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
Anodiridza makomo ari padzimba dzake dzapamusoro; nyika inogutswa nezvibereko zvebasa rake.
14 He maketh the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man; bringing forth bread out of the earth,
Anomeresa uswa hwemombe, nembeu kuti vanhu vasakure, achibudisa zvokudya kubva pasi:
15 And wine which gladdeneth the heart of man; making [his] face shine with oil; and with bread he strengtheneth man's heart.
iyo waini inofadza mwoyo womunhu, namafuta anopenyesa chiso chake, nechingwa chinosimbisa mwoyo wake.
16 The trees of Jehovah are satisfied, the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted,
Miti yaJehovha inodiridzwa zvakanaka, iyo misidhari yeRebhanoni yaakasima.
17 Where the birds make their nests; [as for] the stork, the fir trees are her house.
Shiri dzinoruka matendere adzo ipapo; dambiramurove rakaita imba yaro mumiti yomupaini.
18 The high mountains are for the wild goats; the cliffs, a refuge for the rock-badgers.
Makomo marefu ndeengururu; mapako ndiwo utiziro hwembira.
19 He made the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth its going down.
Mwedzi unotara nguva, uye zuva rinoziva nguva yokuvira kwaro.
20 Thou makest darkness, and it is night, wherein all the beasts of the forest creep forth:
Munouyisa rima, usiku hugovapo, uye zvikara zvose zvesango zvinobuda kundovhima.
21 The young lions roar after the prey, and to seek their food from God.
Shumba dzinoomba dzichitsvaka nyama, uye dzinotsvaka zvokudya zvadzo kubva kuna Mwari.
22 The sun ariseth, they retreat, and lay them down in their dens.
Kana zuva robuda, idzo dzinoenda kure; dzinodzokera dzondovata mumapako adzo.
23 Man goeth forth unto his work, and to his labour until the evening.
Ipapo munhu anobuda oenda kubasa rake, kumushando wake kusvikira madekwana.
24 How manifold are thy works, O Jehovah! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
Haiwa Jehovha, mabasa enyu manganiko! Makaaita ose nenjere; nyika izere nezvisikwa zvenyu.
25 Yonder is the great and wide sea: therein are moving things innumerable, living creatures small and great.
Hero gungwa, rakakura uye rakapamhama, rine zvisikwa zvisingagoni kuverengwa, zvipenyu zvikuru nezviduku.
26 There go the ships; [there] that leviathan, which thou hast formed to play therein.
Hezvo zvikepe zvinofamba-famba, nengwena, yamakaumba kuti itambemo.
27 These all look unto thee, that thou mayest give their food in its season:
Zvose izvi zvinotarira kwamuri kuti muzvipe zvokudya zvazvo nenguva yakafanira.
28 That thou givest unto them, they gather; thou openest thy hand, they are filled with good.
Pamunozvipa, zvinozviunganidza; pamunozarura ruoko rwenyu, izvo zvinogutswa nezvinhu zvakanaka.
29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled; thou takest away their breath, they expire and return to their dust.
Pamunovanza chiso chenyu, izvo zvinovhundutswa; pamunozvitorera mweya, izvo zvinofa uye zvinodzokera kuguruva.
30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created, and thou renewest the face of the earth.
Pamunotuma Mweya wenyu, izvo zvinosikwa, uye munovandudza chiso chenyika.
31 The glory of Jehovah will endure for ever; Jehovah will rejoice in his works.
Kubwinya kwaJehovha ngakugare nokusingaperi; Jehovha ngaafare nebasa rake,
32 He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth; he toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.
iye anotarira nyika, yobva yabvunda, iye anobata makomo obva apwititika utsi.
33 I will sing unto Jehovah as long as I live; I will sing psalms to my God while I have my being.
Ndichaimbira Jehovha upenyu hwangu hwose; ndichaimbira Mwari wangu nziyo dzokurumbidza ndichiri mupenyu.
34 My meditation shall be pleasant unto him; I will rejoice in Jehovah.
Kurangarira kwangu ngakumufadze, pandinofara muna Jehovha.
35 Sinners shall be consumed out of the earth, and the wicked shall be no more. Bless Jehovah, O my soul. Hallelujah!
Asi vatadzi ngavaparadzwe panyika, uye vakaipa ngavarege kuzovapozve. Rumbidza Jehovha, mweya wangu. Rumbidzai Jehovha.
