Psalms 101

1 A Psalm of David. I will sing of loving-kindness and judgment: unto thee, Jehovah, will I sing psalms.

Faarfannaa Daawit. Ani jaalala keetii fi murtii kee qajeelaa sanaaf nan faarfadha; Yaa Waaqayyo ani siif nan faarfadha.

2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. When wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.

Ani jireenya hirʼina hin qabne jiraachuuf of nan eeggadha; ati yoom gara koo dhufta? Ani garaa qulqulluudhaan, mana koo nan jiraadha.

3 I will set no thing of Belial before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

Ani ija koo dura, waan hamaa hin kaaʼu. Hojii jalʼootaa nan jibba; nattis hin qabatu.

4 A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know evil.

Namoonni yaada micciiramaa qaban narraa haa fagaatan; ani jalʼina wajjin tokkummaa hin qabaadhu.

5 Whoso secretly slandereth his neighbour, him will I destroy; him that hath a high look and a proud heart will I not suffer.

Nama dhoksaan ollaa isaa hamatu kam iyyuu, ani afaan nan qabachiisa; nama tuffiin nama ilaaluu fi kan garaa of tuulu qabuuf, ani obsa hin qabaadhu.

6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

Akka isaan na wajjin jiraataniif, iji koo amanamoota biyyattii irra jiraatti; namni karaa qajeelaa irra deemu, inni na tajaajila.

7 He that practiseth deceit shall not dwell within my house; he that speaketh falsehoods shall not subsist in my sight.

Namni nama gowwoomsu tokko iyyuu mana koo keessa hin jiraatu; namni soba dubbatu tokko iyyuu fuula koo dura hin dhaabatu.

8 Every morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land: to cut off all workers of iniquity from the city of Jehovah.

Ani jalʼoota biyyattii hunda, ganama ganama nan barbadeessa; warra waan hamaa hojjetan magaalaa Waaqayyoo keessaa nan balleessa.
