Psalms 10
1 Why, Jehovah, standest thou afar off? [Why] hidest thou thyself in times of distress?
১হে যিহোৱা, তুমি কিয় দূৰৈত ৰৈ আছা? সঙ্কটৰ সময়ত কিয় তুমি নিজকে লুকুৱাই ৰাখা?
2 The wicked, in his pride, doth hotly pursue the afflicted. They shall be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
২অহংকাৰৰ কাৰণে দুষ্টলোকে দৰিদ্রক নির্যাতিত কৰে; তেওঁলোকৰ নিজৰ কু-পৰিকল্পনাত তেওঁলোক নিজেই ধৰা পৰক;
3 For the wicked boasteth of his soul's desire, and he blesseth the covetous; he contemneth Jehovah.
৩দুষ্টলোকে নিজৰ মনৰ দুষ্ট ইচ্ছাত অহংকাৰ কৰে; লুভীয়া লোকে নিজৰ লাভৰ বাবে যিহোৱাক অভিশাপ দিয়ে আৰু তেওঁক হেয়জ্ঞান কৰে।
4 The wicked [saith], in the haughtiness of his countenance, He doth not search out: all his thoughts are, There is no God!
৪দুষ্টলোকে নিজৰ সমর্থনত গৰ্ব্ব কৰি কয়; “ঈশ্বৰে ইয়াক বিচাৰি নাপাব;” তেওঁলোকৰ চিন্তাবোৰ এয়ে যে, “ঈশ্বৰ বুলি কোনো নাই।”
5 His ways always succeed; thy judgments are far above out of his sight; [as for] all his adversaries, he puffeth at them.
৫সকলো সময়তে তেওঁলোক সফলতাৰ পথত আগবাঢ়ি যায়; তোমাৰ ন্যায় বিচাৰ ইমান ওপৰত আছে যে, সেয়া তেওঁলোকৰ চকুৰ দৃষ্টিৰ বাহিৰত; তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ সকলো শত্রুকে তুচ্ছ কৰে।
6 He saith in his heart, I shall not be moved; from generation to generation I shall be in no adversity.
৬তেওঁলোকে মনতে কয়, “একোৱেই মোক লৰচৰ কৰিব নোৱাৰিব। আমাৰ সকলো পুৰুষতে কোনো কালে বিপদ নহ’ব।”
7 His mouth is full of cursing, and deceit, and oppression; under his tongue is mischief and iniquity.
৭তেওঁলোকৰ মুখ অভিশাপ, ছলনা আৰু অত্যাচাৰী কথাৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ; তেওঁলোকৰ জিভাৰ তলত অন্যায় আৰু অপৰাধৰ কথা থাকে।
8 He sitteth in the lurking-places of the villages; in the secret places doth he slay the innocent: his eyes watch for the wretched.
৮গাৱঁৰ ওচৰত তেওঁলোকে গোপনে খাপ পাতি বহি থাকে; সেই গোপন ঠাইতে তেওঁলোকে নিৰ্দ্দোষীক হত্যা কৰে; কোনোবাই অসহায়ৰ ওপৰত গোপনে লক্ষ্য ৰাখি খাপ দি থাকে।
9 He lieth in wait secretly, like a lion in his thicket; he lieth in wait to catch the afflicted: he doth catch the afflicted, drawing him into his net.
৯তেওঁলোকে গুপুত ঠাইত খাপ পাতি সিংহৰ দৰে প্রতীক্ষাত থাকে; তেওঁলোকে প্রতীক্ষা কৰি থাকে যাতে অসহায় দৰিদ্রজনক ধৰিব পাৰে; তাৰ পাছত তেওঁলোকে দৰিদ্রজনক ধৰি চোঁচোৰাই লৈ নিজৰ জালত পেলায়।
10 He croucheth, he boweth down, that the wretched may fall by his strong ones.
১০তেওঁলোকে চাপৰি কুঁজা হৈ অসহায়জনক তেওঁলোকৰ শক্তিত আৱদ্ধ কৰে।
11 He saith in his heart, God hath forgotten, he hideth his face, he will never see [it].
১১তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ মনতে ভাৱে, “ঈশ্বৰে পাহৰিলে; তেওঁ নিজৰ মুখ লুকুৱাই থৈছে; তেওঁ কেতিয়াও আমাক দেখা নাপাব।”
12 Arise, Jehovah; O God, lift up thy hand: forget not the afflicted.
১২হে যিহোৱা, উঠা; হে ঈশ্বৰ তোমাৰ হাত তুলি ধৰা; নির্যাতিত সকলক পাহৰি নাযাবা।
13 Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? He hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require [it].
১৩দুষ্টবোৰে ঈশ্বৰক কিয় তুচ্ছ বুলি ভাৱে? তেওঁলোকে কিয় মনে মনে ভাৱে যে, “তেওঁ আমাৰ ওচৰত কোনো হিচাব নিবিচাৰিব?”
14 Thou hast seen [it], for thou thyself beholdest trouble and vexation, to requite by thy hand. The wretched committeth himself unto thee; thou hast been the helper of the fatherless.
১৪কিন্তু, হে ঈশ্বৰ, তুমি হ’লে দেখা পোৱা; অৱশ্যেই তুমি দুখ-কষ্ট আৰু সঙ্কটলৈ চকু দিয়া, তুমি তোমাৰ হাতেৰেই ইয়াৰ ব্যৱস্থা ল’ব পাৰা; অসহায়জনে তোমাৰ ওচৰতে নিজক সমৰ্পণ কৰে; তুমিয়েইতো অনাথক সহায় কৰোঁতা জনা
15 Break thou the arm of the wicked, and as for the evil man, seek out his wickedness [till] thou find none.
১৫দুষ্ট আৰু অসৎ লোকৰ ক্ষমতাৰ বাহু তুমি ভাঙি পেলোৱা; তেওঁলোকৰ সকলো অন্যায় কার্যৰ শেষ পর্যন্ত হিচাব বিচাৰ কৰা।
16 Jehovah is King for ever and ever: the nations have perished out of his land.
১৬যিহোৱা চিৰকালৰ ৰজা; তেওঁৰ দেশৰ পৰা জাতিবোৰ ধ্বংস হৈ যাব।
17 Jehovah, thou hast heard the desire of the meek, thou hast established their heart: thou causest thine ear to hear,
১৭হে যিহোৱা, নম্ৰ লোকৰ অন্তৰৰ ইচ্ছাৰ কথা তুমি শুনিবা; তুমি তেওঁলোকৰ হৃদয়ত সাহস দিবা, তুমি তেওঁলোকৰ প্রার্থনালৈ কাণ দিবা;
18 To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed one, that the man of the earth may terrify no more.
১৮এই পৃথিৱীৰ লোকে তেওঁলোকক যেন পুনৰ ভয় দেখুৱাব নোৱাৰিব; তাৰবাবে তুমিয়েই অনাথ আৰু নির্য্যাতিত লোকসকলৰ পক্ষত থিয় হ’ব পাৰা।
