Proverbs 4
1 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know intelligence;
Аскултаць, фиилор, ынвэцэтура унуй татэ ши луаць аминте ка сэ причепець,
2 for I give you good doctrine: forsake ye not my law.
кэч еу вэ дау сфатурь буне: ну лепэдаць ынвэцэтура мя!
3 For I was a son unto my father, tender and an only one in the sight of my mother.
Кэч, кынд ерам ынкэ фиу ла татэл меу ши фиу ӂингаш ши сингур ла мама мя,
4 And he taught me, and said unto me, Let thy heart retain my words; keep my commandments and live.
ел мэ ынвэца атунч ши-мь зичя: „Пэстрязэ бине ын инима та кувинтеле меле, пэзеште ынвэцэтуриле меле ши вей трэи!
5 Get wisdom, get intelligence: forget [it] not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
Добындеште ынцелепчуне, добындеште причепере; ну уйта кувинтеле гурий меле ши ну те абате де ла еле!
6 Forsake her not, and she shall keep thee; love her, and she shall preserve thee.
Н-о пэрэси, ши еа те ва пэзи; юбеште-о, ши те ва окроти!
7 The beginning of wisdom [is], Get wisdom; and with all thy getting get intelligence.
Ятэ ынчепутул ынцелепчуний: добындеште ынцелепчуня ши, ку тот че ай, добындеште причеперя.
8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee; she shall bring thee to honour when thou dost embrace her.
Ыналц-о ши еа те ва ынэлца; еа ва фи слава та дакэ о вей ымбрэциша.
9 She shall give to thy head a garland of grace; a crown of glory will she bestow upon thee.
Еа ыць ва пуне пе кап о кунунэ плэкутэ, те ва ымподоби ку о стрэлучитэ кунунэ ымпэрэтяскэ.”
10 Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, and the years of thy life shall be multiplied.
Аскултэ, фиуле, примеште кувинтеле меле ши аний веций тале се вор ынмулци!
11 I will teach thee in the way of wisdom, I will lead thee in paths of uprightness.
Еу ыць арэт каля ынцелепчуний, те повэцуеск пе кэрэриле неприхэнирий.
12 When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.
Кынд вей умбла, пасул ну-ць ва фи стынженит ши, кынд вей алерга, ну те вей потикни.
13 Take fast hold of instruction, let [her] not go: keep her, for she is thy life.
Цине ынвэцэтура, н-о лэса дин мынэ; пэстряз-о, кэч еа есте вяца та!
14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil [men]:
Ну интра пе кэраря челор рэй ши ну умбла пе каля челор нелеӂюиць!
15 avoid it, pass not by it; turn from it, and pass away.
Фереште-те де еа, ну трече пе еа; околеште-о ши тречь ынаинте!
16 For they sleep not except they have done mischief, and their sleep is taken away unless they have caused [some] to fall.
Кэч ей ну дорм дакэ н-ау фэкут рэул, ле пере сомнул дакэ ну фак пе чинева сэ кадэ;
17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.
кэч ей мэнынкэ пыне нелеӂюитэ ши бяу вин сторс ку сила.
18 But the path of the righteous is as the shining light, going on and brightening until the day be fully come.
Дар кэраря челор неприхэниць есте ка лумина стрэлучитоаре, а кэрей стрэлучире мерӂе мереу крескынд пынэ ла мезул зилей.
19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
Каля челор рэй есте ка ынтунерикул грос: ей ну вэд де че се вор потикни.
20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Фиуле, я аминте ла кувинтеле меле, плякэ-ць урекя ла ворбеле меле!
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thy heart.
Сэ ну се депэртезе кувинтеле ачестя де окий тэй, пэстрязэ-ле ын фундул инимий тале!
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Кэч еле сунт вяцэ пентру чей че ле гэсеск ши сэнэтате пентру тот трупул лор.
23 Keep thy heart more than anything that is guarded; for out of it are the issues of life.
Пэзеште-ць инима май мулт декыт орьче, кэч дин еа ес извоареле веций!
24 Put away from thee perverseness of mouth, and corrupt lips put far from thee.
Изгонеште неадевэрул дин гура та ши депэртязэ викления де пе бузеле тале!
25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Окий тэй сэ привяскэ дрепт ши плеоапеле тале сэ кауте дрепт ынаинтя та!
26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be well-ordered.
Кэраря пе каре мерӂь сэ фие нетедэ ши тоате кэиле тале сэ фие хотэрыте:
27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left; remove thy foot from evil.
ну те абате нич ла дряпта, нич ла стынга ши фереште-те де рэу!
