< Proverbs 31 >
1 The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him:
Maganganun Sarki Lemuwel, magana ce horarriya mahaifiyarsa ta koya masa,
2 What, my son? and what, O son of my womb? and what, O son of my vows?
“Ka saurara, ya ɗana! Ka saurara, ɗan cikina! Ka saurara, ya ɗan amshin addu’ata!
3 Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to them that destroy kings.
Kada ka ba da ƙarfinka a kan mata, ƙarfinka ga waɗanda suka hallaka sarakuna.
4 It is not for kings, Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine, nor for rulers [to say], Where is the strong drink?
“Ba na sarakuna ba ne, ya Lemuwel, ba na sarakuna ba ne su sha ruwan inabi, ba na masu mulki ba ne su yi marmarin barasa,
5 — lest they drink and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the children of affliction.
don kada su sha su manta da abin da doka ta umarta, su hana wa waɗanda aka danne hakkinsu.
6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto the bitter of soul:
A ba da barasa ga waɗanda suke cikin halin ƙaƙa naka yi, ruwan inabi ga waɗanda suke cikin wahala;
7 let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
bari su sha su manta da talaucinsu kada kuma su ƙara tunawa da ɓacin ransu.
8 Open thy mouth for the dumb, for the cause of all those that are left desolate.
“Yi magana domin bebaye, domin hakkin dukan waɗanda suke naƙasassu.
9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and minister justice to the afflicted and needy.
Yi magana a kuma yi shari’ar adalci; a tsare hakkin talakawa da masu bukata.”
10 Who can find a woman of worth? for her price is far above rubies.
Wa yake iya samun mace mai halin kirki? Darajarta ta fi ta lu’ulu’ai.
11 The heart of her husband confideth in her, and he shall have no lack of spoil.
Mijinta yana da cikakken amincewa da ita kuma ba ya rasa wani abu mai daraja.
12 She doeth him good, and not evil, all the days of her life.
Takan yi masa alheri ba mugunta ba, dukan kwanakin ranta.
13 She seeketh wool and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
Takan zaɓi ulu da lilin ta yi ta saƙa da hannuwanta da farin ciki.
14 She is like the merchants' ships: she bringeth her food from afar;
Ita kamar jirgin’yan kasuwa ne tana kawo abincinta daga nesa.
15 And she riseth while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and the day's work to her maidens.
Takan farka tun da sauran duhu; ta tanada wa iyalinta abinci ta kuma shirya wa’yan matan gidanta ayyukan da za su yi.
16 She considereth a field, and acquireth it; of the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
Takan lura da gona sosai ta kuma saye ta; daga abin da take samu na kuɗin shiga take shuka gonar inabi.
17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and maketh strong her arms.
Takan himmantu tă yi aikinta tuƙuru; hannuwanta suna da ƙarfi domin ayyukanta.
18 She perceiveth that her earning is good; her lamp goeth not out by night.
Takan tabbata akwai riba a kasuwancinta, kuma fitilarta ba ya mutuwa da dare.
19 She putteth her hands to the distaff, and her hands hold the spindle.
Da hannunta take riƙe abin kaɗi ta kuma kama abin saƙa da yatsotsinta.
20 She stretcheth out her hand to the afflicted, and she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
Takan marabci talakawa takan kuma taimaki masu bukata.
21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household; for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
Sa’ad da ƙanƙara ta fāɗi, ba ta jin tsoro saboda gidanta; gama dukansu suna da tufafi masu kauri.
22 She maketh herself coverlets; her clothing is byssus and purple.
Takan yi wa gadonta kayan shimfiɗa; tufafinta kuma na lilin ne mai laushi na shunayya.
23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
Ana girmama mijinta a ƙofar shiga birni inda yakan zauna a cikin dattawan gari.
24 She maketh body linen and selleth it, and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
Takan yi riguna na lilin ta sayar; takan kuma sayar wa’yan kasuwa da ɗamara.
25 Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laugheth [at] the coming day.
Ƙarfi da mutunci su ne suturarta; za tă iya yin dariyar kwanaki masu zuwa.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and upon her tongue is the law of kindness.
Tana magana da hikima, kuma umarnai mai aminci yana a harshenta.
27 She surveyeth the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Tana lura da sha’anin gidanta kuma ba ta cin abincin ƙyuya.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband [also], and he praiseth her:
’Ya’yanta sukan tashi su ce da ita mai albarka; haka mijinta ma, yakan kuma yabe ta yana cewa,
29 Many daughters have done worthily, but thou excellest them all.
“Mata da yawa suna yin abubuwan yabo, amma ke kin fi su duka.”
30 Gracefulness is deceitful and beauty is vain; a woman [that] feareth Jehovah, she shall be praised.
Kayan tsari yana ruɗu, kyau kuma kan shuɗe; amma mace mai tsoron Ubangiji abar yabo ce.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates.
Ka ba ta ladar da ya dace tă samo wa kanta, bari kuma ayyukanta su kawo mata yabo a ƙofar shiga birni.
