Proverbs 14
1 The wisdom of women buildeth their house; but folly plucketh it down with her hands.
Һәр бир дана аял өз аилисини ават қилар; Ахмақ аял аилисини өз қоли билән вәйран қилар.
2 He that walketh in his uprightness feareth Jehovah; but he that is perverted in his ways despiseth him.
Дуруслуқ йолида маңидиған киши Пәрвәрдигардин қорқар; Қиңғир йолда маңған киши [Худани] көзгә илмас.
3 In the fool's mouth is a rod of pride; but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.
Ахмақниң тәкәббур ағзи өзигә таяқ болар; Ақиланиниң ләвлири өзини қоғдар.
4 Where no oxen are, the crib is clean; but much increase is by the strength of the ox.
Улақ болмиса, еғил пак-пакиз турар; Бирақ өкүзниң күчи болғандила [саңға] ашлиқ толар.
5 A faithful witness will not lie; but a false witness uttereth lies.
Ишәшлик гувачи ялған ейтмас; Сахта гувачи ялған гәпни нәпәстәк тинар.
6 A scorner seeketh wisdom, and there is none [for him]; but knowledge is easy unto the intelligent.
Һакавурлар даналиқ издәп тапалмас; Бирақ йорутулған адәмгә билим елиш асанға чүшәр.
7 Go from the presence of a foolish man, in whom thou perceivest not the lips of knowledge.
Бирәвниң ағзида билим йоқлуғини билип йәткәндә, Униңдин өзүңни нери тарт.
8 The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way; but the folly of the foolish is deceit.
Әқил-парасәтлик кишиниң даналиғи өз йолини ойлиништидур; Ахмақларниң әқилсизлиги болса өзлириниң алдинишидур.
9 Fools make a mock at trespass; but for the upright there is favour.
Ахмақлар болса «итаәтсизлик қурбанлиғи»ни көзгә илмайду, Һәққанийлар арисида болса илтипат тепилар.
10 The heart knoweth its own bitterness, and a stranger doth not intermeddle with its joy.
Көңүлдики дәрдни пәқәт өзила көтирәләр; Көңүлдики хушлуққиму башқилар шерик болалмас.
11 The house of the wicked shall be overthrown; but the tent of the upright shall flourish.
Яманниң өйи өрүлүп чүшәр; Һәққаний адәмниң чедири гүллинип кетәр.
12 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof is the ways of death.
Адәм балисиға тоғридәк көрүнидиған бир йол бар, Лекин ақивити һалакәткә баридиған йоллардур.
13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful, and the end of mirth is sadness.
Оюн-күлкә болса қәлбтики ғәм-қайғуни япар, Хошаллиқ өтүп кәткәндә, ғәм-қайғу йәнила қалар.
14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways, and the good man from what is in himself.
Тоғра йолдин бурулуп янған адәм һаман өз йолидин тояр; Яхши адәм өз ишидин қанаәтлинәр.
15 The simple believeth every word; but the prudent [man] heedeth his going.
Саддилар һәммә гәпкә ишинип кетәр; Лекин пәм-парасәтлик киши һәр бир қәдәмни авайлап басар.
16 A wise [man] feareth and departeth from evil; but the foolish is overbearing and confident.
Дана адәм еһтиятчан болуп аваричиликтин нери кетәр; Ахмақ һакавурлуқ қилип, өзигә ишинип алдиға маңар.
17 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly, and a man of mischievous devices is hated.
Териккәк ахмақлиқ қилар; Нәйрәңваз адәм нәпрәткә учрар.
18 The simple inherit folly; but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
Саддилар ахмақлиққа варислиқ қилар; Пәм-парасәтликләр билимни өз таҗи қилар.
19 The evil bow before the good, and the wicked at the gates of the righteous [man].
Яманлар яхшиларниң алдида егиләр; Қәбиһләр һәққанийниң дәрвазилири алдида [баш урар].
20 He that is poor is hated even of his own neighbour; but the rich hath many friends.
Намрат киши һәтта өз йеқиниғиму яман көрүнәр. Байниң дости болса көптур.
21 He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth; but he that is gracious to the afflicted, happy is he.
Йеқинини пәс көргән гунакардур; Лекин мискинләргә рәһим қилған бәрикәт тапар.
22 Do they not err that devise evil? but loving-kindness and truth are for those that devise good.
Яманлиқ ойлиғанлар йолдин адашқанлардин әмәсму? Бирақ яхшилиқ ойлиғанлар рәһим-шәпқәт, һәқиқәт-садиқлиққа муйәссәр болар.
23 In all labour there is profit; but the talk of the lips [tendeth] only to want.
Һәммә меһнәттин пайда чиқар; Бирақ қуруқ параңлар адәмни муһтаҗлиқта қалдурар.
24 The crown of the wise is their riches; the folly of the foolish is folly.
Ақиланиләр үчүн байлиқлар бир таҗдур; Ахмақларниң наданлиғидин пәқәт йәнә шу наданлиқла чиқар.
25 A true witness delivereth souls; but deceit uttereth lies.
Һәққаний гувалиқ бәргүчи кишиләрниң һаятини қутқузар; Ялған-явидақ сөзләйдиған [гувачи] ялған гәпни нәпәстәк тинар.
26 In the fear of Jehovah is strong confidence, and his children shall have a place of refuge.
Пәрвәрдигардин қорқидиғанниң күчлүк йөләнчүки бар, Униң балилириму һимайигә егә болар.
27 The fear of Jehovah is a fountain of life, to turn away from the snares of death.
Пәрвәрдигардин қорқуш һаятниң булиқидур; У кишини әҗәллик қапқанлардин қутқузар.
28 In the multitude of people is the king's glory; but in the lack of people is the ruin of a prince.
Падишаһниң шан-шәриви пухрасиниң көплигидиндур; Пухрасиниң кәмлиги әмирниң һалакитидур.
29 He that is slow to anger is of great understanding; but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
Еғир-бесиқ киши интайин ақил кишидур; Чечилғақ ахмақлиқни улуқлар.
30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh; but envy the rottenness of the bones.
Хатирҗәм көңүл тәнниң сақлиғидур; Һәсрәт чекиш болса сүйәкләрни чиритар.
31 He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker; but he that honoureth Him is gracious to the needy.
Мискинни бозәк қилғучи — Пәрвәрдигарға һақарәт қилғучидур; Һаҗәтмәнләргә шапаәт қилиш Уни һөрмәтлигәнликтур.
32 The wicked is driven away by his evil-doing; but the righteous trusteth, [even] in his death.
Яман өз яманлиғи ичидә жиқитилар; Һәққаний адәм һәтта сәкратта ятқандиму хатирҗәм болар.
33 Wisdom resteth in the heart of the intelligent [man]; but that which is in the foolish maketh itself known.
Йорутулған кишиниң көңлидә даналиқ ятар; Бирақ ахмақниң көңлидикиси ашкарә болмай қалмас.
34 Righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is a reproach to peoples.
Һәққанийәт һәр қайси әлни жуқури көтирәр; Гуна һәр қандақ милләтни номусқа қалдурар.
35 The king's favour is toward a wise servant; but his wrath is [against] him that causeth shame.
Падишаһниң илтипати әқиллиқ хизмәткарниң бешиға чүшәр; Бирақ униң ғәзиви номуста қалдурғучи уятсиз хизмәткариниң бешиға чүшәр.
