Proverbs 14
1 The wisdom of women buildeth their house; but folly plucketh it down with her hands.
Фемея ынцеляптэ ышь зидеште каса, яр фемея небунэ о дэрымэ ку ынсешь мыниле ей.
2 He that walketh in his uprightness feareth Jehovah; but he that is perverted in his ways despiseth him.
Чине умблэ ку неприхэнире се теме де Домнул, дар чине апукэ пе кэй стрымбе Ыл несокотеште.
3 In the fool's mouth is a rod of pride; but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.
Ын гура небунулуй есте о нуя пентру мындрия луй, дар пе ынцелепць ый пэзеск бузеле лор.
4 Where no oxen are, the crib is clean; but much increase is by the strength of the ox.
Унде ну сунт бой, есля рэмыне гоалэ, дар путеря боилор адуче белшуг де роаде.
5 A faithful witness will not lie; but a false witness uttereth lies.
Ун мартор крединчос ну минте, дар ун мартор минчинос спуне минчунь.
6 A scorner seeketh wisdom, and there is none [for him]; but knowledge is easy unto the intelligent.
Батжокориторул каутэ ынцелепчуня ши н-о гэсеште, дар пентру омул причепут штиинца есте лукру ушор.
7 Go from the presence of a foolish man, in whom thou perceivest not the lips of knowledge.
Депэртязэ-те де небун, кэч ну пе бузеле луй вей гэси штиинца!
8 The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way; but the folly of the foolish is deceit.
Ынцелепчуня омулуй кибзуит ыл фаче сэ вадэ пе че кале сэ мяргэ, дар небуния челор несокотиць ый ыншалэ пе ей ыншишь.
9 Fools make a mock at trespass; but for the upright there is favour.
Чей несокотиць глумеск ку пэкатул, дар ынтре чей фэрэ приханэ есте бунэвоинцэ.
10 The heart knoweth its own bitterness, and a stranger doth not intermeddle with its joy.
Инима ышь куноаште неказуриле ши ничун стрэин ну се поате аместека ын букурия ей.
11 The house of the wicked shall be overthrown; but the tent of the upright shall flourish.
Каса челор рэй ва фи нимичитэ, дар кортул челор фэрэ приханэ ва ынфлори.
12 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof is the ways of death.
Мулте кэй пот пэря буне омулуй, дар ла урмэ се вэд кэ дук ла моарте.
13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful, and the end of mirth is sadness.
Де мулте орь, кяр ын мижлокул рысулуй инима поате фи мыхнитэ, ши букурия поате сфырши прин неказ.
14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways, and the good man from what is in himself.
Чел ку инима рэтэчитэ се сатурэ де кэиле луй ши омул де бине се сатурэ ши ел де че есте ын ел.
15 The simple believeth every word; but the prudent [man] heedeth his going.
Омул лесне крезэтор креде орьче ворбэ, дар омул кибзуит я сяма бине кум мерӂе.
16 A wise [man] feareth and departeth from evil; but the foolish is overbearing and confident.
Ынцелептул се теме ши се абате де ла рэу, дар несокотитул есте ынгымфат ши фэрэ фрикэ.
17 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly, and a man of mischievous devices is hated.
Чине есте юте ла мыние фаче простий, ши омул плин де рэутате се фаче урыт.
18 The simple inherit folly; but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
Чей прошть ау парте де небуние, дар оамений кибзуиць сунт ынкунунаць ку штиинцэ.
19 The evil bow before the good, and the wicked at the gates of the righteous [man].
Чей рэй се плякэ ынаинтя челор бунь, ши чей нелеӂюиць, ынаинтя порцилор челуй неприхэнит.
20 He that is poor is hated even of his own neighbour; but the rich hath many friends.
Сэракул есте урыт кяр ши де приетенул сэу, дар богатул аре фоарте мулць приетень.
21 He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth; but he that is gracious to the afflicted, happy is he.
Чине диспрецуеште пе апроапеле сэу фаче ун пэкат, дар фериче де чине аре милэ де чей ненорочиць.
22 Do they not err that devise evil? but loving-kindness and truth are for those that devise good.
Ын адевэр, чей че гындеск рэул се рэтэческ, дар чей че гындеск бинеле лукрязэ ку бунэтате ши крединчошие.
23 In all labour there is profit; but the talk of the lips [tendeth] only to want.
Орьунде се мунчеште есте ши кыштиг, дар орьунде нумай се ворбеште есте липсэ.
24 The crown of the wise is their riches; the folly of the foolish is folly.
Богэция есте о кунунэ пентру чей ынцелепць, дар чей несокотиць н-ау алтчева декыт небуние.
25 A true witness delivereth souls; but deceit uttereth lies.
Марторул каре спуне адевэрул скапэ суфлете, дар чел ыншелэтор спуне минчунь.
26 In the fear of Jehovah is strong confidence, and his children shall have a place of refuge.
Чине се теме де Домнул аре ун сприжин таре ын Ел ши копиий луй ау ун лок де адэпост ла Ел.
27 The fear of Jehovah is a fountain of life, to turn away from the snares of death.
Фрика де Домнул есте ун извор де вяцэ, еа не фереште де курселе морций.
28 In the multitude of people is the king's glory; but in the lack of people is the ruin of a prince.
Мулцимя попорулуй есте слава ымпэратулуй, липса попорулуй есте пеиря воеводулуй.
29 He that is slow to anger is of great understanding; but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
Чине есте ынчет ла мыние аре мултэ причепере, дар чине се апринде юте фаче мулте простий.
30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh; but envy the rottenness of the bones.
О инимэ лиништитэ есте вяца трупулуй, дар пизма есте путрезиря оаселор.
31 He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker; but he that honoureth Him is gracious to the needy.
Чине асупреште пе сэрак батжокореште пе Зидиторул сэу, дар чине аре милэ де чел липсит чинстеште пе Зидиторул сэу.
32 The wicked is driven away by his evil-doing; but the righteous trusteth, [even] in his death.
Чел рэу есте доборыт де рэутатя луй, дар чел неприхэнит кяр ши ла моарте траӂе нэдежде.
33 Wisdom resteth in the heart of the intelligent [man]; but that which is in the foolish maketh itself known.
Ынцелепчуня се одихнеште ынтр-о инимэ причепутэ, дар ын мижлокул челор несокотиць еа се дэ де гол.
34 Righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is a reproach to peoples.
Неприхэниря ыналцэ пе ун попор, дар пэкатул есте рушиня попоарелор.
35 The king's favour is toward a wise servant; but his wrath is [against] him that causeth shame.
Ун ымпэрат аре плэчере де ун служитор кибзуит, дар пе чел де окарэ ыл атинӂе мыния луй.
