< Philippians 3 >

1 For the rest, my brethren, rejoice in [the] Lord: to write the same things to you, to me [is] not irksome, and for you safe.
Ta ishato hayssafe hara ta intena gizay Godan ufa7etite. Ha7ika zaarada izo ta intes xaafiko tana salethena. Intenaka go7ana.
2 See to dogs, see to evil workmen, see to the concision.
Heyta kana mala husikatizaytape iitta oothizaytapene asas meqethi menthiza asatape naagettite.
3 For we are the circumcision, who worship by [the] Spirit of God, and boast in Christ Jesus, and do not trust in flesh.
Tumu qaxxaaretidaytine Xoossu woossizayti Yesus kiristoosan ceeqizaytine ashon ceeqetontayti ashonika ammanetonttayti nunako.
4 Though I have [my] trust even in flesh; if any other think to trust in flesh, I rather:
Ta ceeqana koyko asho baggara ceeqana miishi taasika dees. Oonasika ashon ceeqiza miishi diza milatiko ta izape aadhayssi.
5 as to circumcision, [I received it] the eighth day; of [the] race of Israel, of [the] tribe of Benjamin, Hebrew of Hebrews; as to [the] law, a Pharisee;
Tani yelletida ossipuntha galas qaxxaristadis. Ta Isiraa7eele zerethine Biniyame kochafe yeletadis. Ibirawista gidon taka adda Ibiraweko. Woga baggara oychizadey diiko ta kase Perisawe.
6 as to zeal, persecuting the assembly; as to righteousness which [is] in [the] law, found blameless;
Muse wogas zili7etizayssa gidiko tra kase woossa keeththa goodizadeko. Woga naagon beetiza xiillotethi gidiko kase ta bolla issi wothoyka deena.
7 but what things were gain to me these I counted, on account of Christ, loss.
Gido attin taas go7a gididayssa wursia kirisoosa gishshi gaada go7ay baynda miisha mala qoodadis.
8 But surely I count also all things to be loss on account of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all, and count them to be filth, that I may gain Christ;
Hessafeka ta goda Yesus kiristoosa erope aadhizay haray aykoyka bayndayssa ta ammaniza gishshi wursiaka coo mela g o7ay baynda miisha mala qoodadis. Tani iza gishshi gaada wursiaka aggadis. Ta kiristoosa demmana gaada wursio miishaka wora wodhida iitta miisha mala qoodadis.
9 and that I may be found in him, not having my righteousness, which [would be] on the principle of law, but that which is by faith of Christ, the righteousness which [is] of God through faith,
Tani hessaththo oothiza gaasoy kase Muse wogan taas diza xiillotetha aggada ammanon beettiza Xoossa xiilloteth kiristoosan ammanada demmanasine ta izara issife deyansiko.
10 to know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being conformed to his death,
Kiristoosane izi hayqi dendida dentha woliqa ta erana mala iza waayeka ta izara gishistana malane hayqonka ta iza milatana mala amottays.
11 if any way I arrive at the resurrection from among [the] dead.
Hessaththoka ta hayqqa dendidape guye medhinas daanas koyayss.
12 Not that I have already obtained [the prize], or am already perfected; but I pursue, if also I may get possession [of it], seeing that also I have been taken possession of by Christ [Jesus].
Ta hayssa wursia demmadis woykko hayssatho hanadis guusu gidena. Gido attin Yesus kiristoosay tana bees hisitidi taas giigissida woyto ekkanas minna wotha bolla dayss.
13 Brethren, I do not count to have got possession myself; but one thing — forgetting the things behind, and stretching out to the things before,
T a ishato ta ha7i ta koyzayssaka oyikida mala qoodike. Gido attin ta issi miishi oothana. Tape guyera dizayssa agga aggada tape sinthan dizayssa oykanas zaradhayss.
14 I pursue, [looking] towards [the] goal, for the prize of the calling on high of God in Christ Jesus.
Xoossi tana Yesus kiristoosa baggara pude xeygida gishshi woyto gaka ekkanas elelayss.
15 As many therefore as [are] perfect, let us be thus minded; and if ye are any otherwise minded, this also God shall reveal to you.
Hessa gishshi nuni ammanon minnidayti wurikka haniza yoo wursi hessafe xeellatho xeellanas besses. Issi issi dumma qofay intes diiko hessaka Xoossi intes qonccisana.
16 But whereto we have attained, [let us] walk in the same steps.
Gidikoka nu ha7i gakki eridazan ane simeretos.
17 Be imitators [all] together of me, brethren, and fix your eyes on those walking thus as you have us for a model;
Ta ishato ane inte ta haniza mala tana kaallitene harataraka issife deyite. Nu nuna intes lemuso hisiti bessida mala diza asata wozinan wothite.
18 (for many walk of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they [are] the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Gaasoyka hayssafe kase ta intes zaara zaara yootida mala ha7ika zaarada afunthara intes yootayss. Daroti kiristoosa masiqales morike gididi simeretettes.
19 whose end [is] destruction, whose god [is] the belly, and [their] glory in their shame, who mind earthly things: )
Istta wursieth dhayoko. Istta uloy istta Xoossuko. Isttas kawushatethay isttas bonchoko. Istta wozinay shempiday ha biitta duusankko.
20 for our commonwealth has its existence in [the] heavens, from which also we await the Lord Jesus Christ [as] Saviour,
Nu derey gidiko salonkko. Heepe buro yaanayssa nuna ashida Goda Yesus kiristoosa yuusa laamotethan naagon doosu.
21 who shall transform our body of humiliation into conformity to his body of glory, according to the working of [the] power which he has even to subdue all things to himself.
Izika wursi bees haarisida woliqara kawushe gidida nu asatetha bonchetida ba asatetha milatissidi laamana.
