Philemon 1
1 Paul, prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timotheus the brother, to Philemon the beloved and our fellow-workman,
Nene Pauli, mkungiwa ndava ya kumuhengela Yesu Kilisitu, pamonga na Timoti mlongo witu, tikuyandikila veve Filimoni, muhenga lihengu muyitu na nkozi muyitu mwatikuganili,
2 and to the sister Apphia and to Archippus our fellow-soldier, and to the assembly which [is] in thine house.

3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.

4 I thank my God, always making mention of thee at my prayers,

5 hearing of thy love and the faith which thou hast towards the Lord Jesus, and towards all the saints,
muni niyuwana chauyimili musadika kwa Bambu witu Yesu na uganu kwa vandu voha va Chapanga.
6 in such sort that thy participation in the faith should become operative in the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in us towards Christ [Jesus].
Niyupa, kuvya kwinu musadika pamonga na veve, ukukita umanya kila chindu chabwina chetivili nachu mukuwungana na Bambu witu Kilisitu.
7 For we have great thankfulness and encouragement through thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.
Mlongo, uganu waku uletili luheku luvaha na kukangamalisa mtima neju! Na veve usangalwisi mitima ya vandu va Chapanga.
8 Wherefore having much boldness in Christ to enjoin thee what is fitting,
Nene namlongo waku mukuwunga na Kilisitu nganihotwili kukulagiza changali wogohi ukita chauganikiwa kukita.
9 for love's sake I rather exhort, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also prisoner of Jesus Christ.
Nambu ndava ya uganu, mbanga nikuyupe. Nikita chenichi pamonga nene Pauli mwanivii nagogo, na hinu mkungiwa ndava ya kumhengela Kilisitu Yesu.
10 I exhort thee for my child, whom I have begotten in [my] bonds, Onesimus,
Hinu, nina luyupu kwaku kumvala Onesimo mweavili mwana vangu kwa kuwungana na Kilisitu. Muni navili dadi waki wa chimpungu petavili mchifungu.
11 once unserviceable to thee, but now serviceable to thee and to me:
Pakutumbula apo avili lepi na lihengu kwaku nambu hinu ana lihengu kwa veve na nene mewa.
12 whom I have sent back to thee: [but do thou receive] him, that is, my bowels:
Hinu nikumuwuyisa kwaku, pamonga nene nikumgana neju.
13 whom I was desirous of keeping with myself, that for thee he might minister to me in the bonds of the glad tidings;
Nigana atama na nene apa anitangatila pahala paku veve, lukumbi penivili mchifungu ndava ya kukokosa Lilovi la Bwina.
14 but I have wished to do nothing without thy mind, that thy good might not be as of necessity but of willingness:
Nikita lepi chindu chochoha changali kuyidakila veve. Naganili veve ubwela kwa kugana kwaku na lepi kwa kung'ang'aniswa.
15 for perhaps for this reason he has been separated [from thee] for a time, that thou mightest possess him fully for ever; (aiōnios g166)
Pangi Onesimo awukili kwaku lukumbi lutali, muni uhotola kavili kuvya na veve magono goha. (aiōnios g166)
16 not any longer as a bondman, but above a bondman, a beloved brother, specially to me, and how much rather to thee, both in [the] flesh and in [the] Lord?
Hinu mwene mvanda lepi kavili nambu mbwina kuliku mvanda. Mwene hinu ndi mlongo witu mganu. Ndi mbwina kwa nene na kwaku yati ivya mbwina neju, muni mwene ndi mundu ngati tete na mlongo witu mukuwungana na Bambu.
17 If therefore thou holdest me to be a partner [with thee], receive him as me;
Nambu, ukuniwona nene namuhenga lihengu muyaku hinu ndi mpokela Onesimo ngati ukunipokela nene.
18 but if he have wronged thee anything or owe anything [to thee], put this to my account.
Ngati akubudili chindu, amala atolili chindu chaku, nene yati nikuwuyisila.
19 I Paul have written [it] with mine own hand; I will repay [it]: that I say not to thee that thou owest even thine own self also to me.
Nene Pauli nikuyandikila kwa chiwoko changu namwene yati nikulipa. Kangi nigana lepi nikukumbusa kuvya veve una chindu cheuganikiwa kuniwuyisila ndi wumi waku.
20 Yea, brother, I would have profit of thee in [the] Lord: refresh my bowels in Christ.
Hinu mlongo wangu, nikitila lijambu lenilo ndava ya Bambu, lisangalusa mtima wangu, ngati mlongo mukuwungana na Kilisitu.
21 Being confident of thine obedience, I have written to thee, knowing that thou wilt do even more than I say.
Niyandika kuni nihuvalila kuvya yati wiyidakila luyupu lwangu, kavili nimanyili kuvya yati ukita hati neju ya ago genikuyupa.
22 But withal prepare me also a lodging; for I hope that I shall be granted to you through your prayers.
Pamonga na aga, nitendelekela chumba cha kugona, muni mukuyupa kwinu Chapanga, yati akuniwuyisa kavili kwinu.
23 Epaphras salutes thee, my fellow-prisoner in Christ Jesus;
Epafla, mweakungiwi pamonga na nene ndava ya kumhengela Kilisitu Yesu, akukujambusa.
24 Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, Luke, my fellow-workmen.
Mewawa Maluko na Alistako na Dema na Luka, vahenga lihengu vayangu, vakuvajambusa.
25 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with your spirit.
Nikuvaganila mwavoha nyenye ubwina wa Bambu witu Yesu Kilisitu.
