Numbers 1
1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai in the tent of meeting, on the first of the second month, in the second year after their departure from the land of Egypt, saying,
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés en el desierto del Sinaí, en la Tienda de la reunión, el primer día del segundo mes, en el segundo año después de que salieron de la tierra de Egipto.
2 Take the sum of the whole assembly of the children of Israel, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, every male, according to their polls;
Toma el número completo de los hijos de Israel, por sus familias y por las casas de sus padres, cada varón por nombre;
3 from twenty years and upward, all that go forth to military service in Israel: ye shall number them according to their hosts, thou and Aaron.
Todos los que tengan veinte años o más y puedan ir a la guerra en Israel deben ser contados por ti y Aarón por sus ejércitos.
4 And with you there shall be a man for every tribe, a man who is the head of his father's house.
Y para ayudarte, toma a un hombre de cada tribu, el jefe de la casa de su padre.
5 And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: for Reuben, Elizur the son of Shedeur;
Estos son los nombres de aquellos que serán tus ayudantes: de Rubén, Elisur, el hijo de Sedeur;
6 for Simeon, Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai;
De Simeón, Selumiel, el hijo de Zurisadai;
7 for Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab;
De Judá, Najón, hijo de Aminadab;
8 for Issachar, Nethaneel the son of Zuar;
De Isacar, Natanael, el hijo de Zuar;
9 for Zebulun, Eliab the son of Helon;
De Zabulón, Eliab, hijo de Helón;
10 for the children of Joseph: for Ephraim, Elishama the son of Ammihud; for Manasseh, Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur;
De los hijos de José: de Efraín, Elisama, hijo de Amiud; de Manasés, Gamaliel, el hijo de Pedasur,
11 for Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gideoni;

12 for Dan, Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai;

13 for Asher, Pagiel the son of Ocran;

14 for Gad, Eliasaph the son of Deuel;

15 for Naphtali, Ahira the son of Enan.

16 These were those summoned of the assembly, princes of the tribes of their fathers, the heads of the thousands of Israel.
Estos son los hombres nombrados de entre todas las personas, jefes de las casas de sus padres, jefes de las tribus de Israel.
17 And Moses and Aaron took these men who are expressed by their names,
Y tomaron Moisés y Aarón a estos hombres, escogidos por su nombre;
18 and gathered the whole assembly together on the first of the second month. And they declared their pedigrees after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, according to their polls.
Y se reunieron todas las personas el primer día del segundo mes; y todos dejaron en claro a su familia y la casa de su padre, por el número de los nombres, de veinte años en adelante.
19 As Jehovah had commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
Como el Señor le había dado órdenes a Moisés, fueron contados por él en el desierto del Sinaí.
20 And the sons of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
Las generaciones de los hijos de Rubén, el hijo mayor de Israel, fueron contados por sus familias y las casas de sus padres, todos los varones de veinte años y más, que pudieron ir a la guerra;
21 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
Cuarenta y seis mil quinientos de la tribu de Rubén fueron contados.
22 Of the sons of Simeon: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, those that were numbered of them, by the number of the names, according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
Las generaciones de los hijos de Simeón fueron contadas por sus familias y las casas de sus padres, todos los varones de veinte años o más que pudieron ir a la guerra;
23 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
Cincuenta y nueve mil, trescientos de la tribu de Simeón estaban contados.
24 Of the sons of Gad: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
Las generaciones de los hijos de Gad fueron contadas por sus familias y las casas de sus padres, todos los varones de veinte años o más que pudieron ir a la guerra;
25 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.
Cuarenta y cinco mil seiscientos cincuenta de la tribu de Gad fueron contados.
26 Of the sons of Judah: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
Las generaciones de los hijos de Judá fueron contadas por sus familias y las casas de sus padres, todos los varones de veinte años o más que pudieron ir a la guerra;
27 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.
Setenta y cuatro mil seiscientos de la tribu de Judá fueron contados.
28 Of the sons of Issachar: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
Las generaciones de los hijos de Isacar fueron contadas por sus familias y las casas de sus padres, todos los varones de veinte años o más que pudieron ir a la guerra;
29 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand four hundred.
Cuarenta y cuatro mil cuatrocientos de la tribu de Isacar fueron contados.
30 Of the sons of Zebulun: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
Las generaciones de los hijos de Zabulón fueron contadas por sus familias y las casas de sus padres, todos los varones de veinte años o más que pudieron ir a la guerra;
31 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.
Cincuenta y siete mil cuatrocientos de la tribu de Zabulón estaban contados.
32 Of the sons of Joseph: of the children of Ephraim: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
Las generaciones de los hijos de José fueron contadas por sus familias y las casas de sus padres, todos los varones de veinte años o más que pudieron ir a la guerra;
33 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand five hundred.
Cuarenta mil quinientos de la tribu de Efraín fueron contados.
34 Of the children of Manasseh: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
Las generaciones de los hijos de Manasés fueron contadas por sus familias y las casas de sus padres, todos los varones de veinte años o más que pudieron ir a la guerra;
35 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.
Treinta y dos mil, doscientos de la tribu de Manasés fueron contados.
36 Of the sons of Benjamin: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
Las generaciones de los hijos de Benjamín fueron contadas por sus familias y las casas de sus padres, todos los varones de veinte años o más que pudieron ir a la guerra;
37 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.
Treinta y cinco mil cuatrocientos de la tribu de Benjamín estaban contados.
38 Of the sons of Dan: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
Las generaciones de los hijos de Dan fueron contadas por sus familias y las casas de sus padres, todos los varones de veinte años o más que pudieron ir a la guerra;
39 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Dan, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.
Se contaron sesenta y dos mil setecientos de la tribu de Dan.
40 Of the sons of Asher: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
Las generaciones de los hijos de Aser fueron contadas por sus familias y las casas de sus padres, todos los varones de veinte años o más que pudieron ir a la guerra;
41 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand five hundred.
Cuarenta y un mil quinientos de la tribu de Aser fueron contados.
42 Of the sons of Naphtali: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
Las generaciones de los hijos de Neftalí fueron contadas por sus familias y las casas de sus padres, todos los varones de veinte años o más que pudieron ir a la guerra;
43 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
Cincuenta y tres mil cuatrocientos de la tribu de Neftalí fueron contados.
44 These are those that were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, the twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.
Estos son los que fueron contados por Moisés y Aarón y por los doce jefes de Israel, uno de cada tribu.
45 And all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, according to their fathers' houses, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service in Israel,
Así que todos los que fueron contados de los hijos de Israel, por sus familias, todos los de veinte años o más que pudieron ir a la guerra,
46 all they that were numbered were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.
Fueron seiscientos tres mil quinientos cincuenta.
47 But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.
Pero los levitas, de la tribu de sus padres, no fueron contados entre ellos.
48 For Jehovah had spoken to Moses, saying,
Porque él Señor dijo a Moisés:
49 Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel.
Sólo la tribu de Leví no será contada entre los hijos de Israel.
50 But thou, appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all its vessels; and they shall serve it, and round about the tabernacle shall they encamp;
Los levitas, deben estar en el tabernáculo del testimonio, con sus recipientes y todo lo que contiene: deben transportar la Tienda, y ser responsables de todo lo que tenga que ver con ella, y colocar sus tiendas alrededor del tabernáculo.
51 and when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle encampeth, the Levites shall set it up; and the stranger that cometh near shall be put to death.
Y cuando la tienda de reunión avanza, los levitas deben derribarla; y cuando se debe colocar, deben hacerlo: cualquier persona extraña que se acerque a ella debe ser condenada a muerte.
52 And the children of Israel shall encamp every man in his camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their hosts;
Los hijos de Israel pondrán sus tiendas, cada uno en su campamento alrededor de su bandera.
53 but the Levites shall encamp round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there come not wrath upon the assembly of the children of Israel; and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
Pero las tiendas de los levitas deben estar alrededor de la tienda de la reunión, para que la ira no caiga sobre los hijos de Israel: la tienda de la reunión debe estar al cuidado de los levitas.
54 And the children of Israel did so; according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses, so did they.
Entonces los hijos de Israel hicieron lo que el Señor le había ordenado a Moisés.
