Numbers 8
1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses saying,
És szóla az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:
2 Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.
Szólj Áronnak és mondd meg néki: Mikor felrakod a mécseket, a gyertyatartó elé világítson a hét mécs.
3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
És úgy cselekedék Áron, és úgy raká fel mécseit, hogy a gyertyatartónak ellenébe tegyenek világosságot, a miképen parancsolta vala az Úr Mózesnek.
4 And this was the work of the candlestick: [it was] of beaten gold; from its base to its flowers was it beaten work; according to the form which Jehovah had shewn Moses, so had he made the candlestick.
A gyertyatartó pedig ilyen alkotású: vert aranyból vala mind a szára, mind a virága; vert mű az; ama forma szerint, a melyet mutatott volt az Úr Mózesnek, úgy készíték a gyertyatartót.
5 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Szóla továbbá az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:
6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.
Vedd a lévitákat Izráel fiai közül, és tisztítsd meg őket.
7 And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: sprinkle upon them water of purification from sin; and they shall pass the razor over all their flesh, and shall wash their garments, and make themselves clean.
Így cselekedjél pedig velök, hogy megtisztítsad őket: hintsd reájok a tisztulás vizét, és az egész testöket beretválják meg, és mossák meg ruháikat, hogy tiszták legyenek.
8 And they shall take a young bullock and its oblation of fine flour mingled with oil; and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin-offering.
Azután vegyenek egy fiatal tulkot és hozzávaló ételáldozatul olajjal elegyített lisztlángot; egy másik fiatal tulkot pedig vegyenek bűnért való áldozatul.
9 And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tent of meeting; and thou shalt gather together the whole assembly of the children of Israel.
Akkor vidd a lévitákat a gyülekezet sátora elé, és gyűjtsd egybe Izráel fiainak egész gyülekezetét.
10 And thou shalt bring the Levites before Jehovah; and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites.
Ezután vidd a lévitákat az Úr elé, és Izráel fiai tegyék kezeiket a lévitákra.
11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites as a wave-offering before Jehovah from the children of Israel, and they shall perform the service of Jehovah.
Áron pedig lóbálja meg a lévitákat, áldozatul az Úr előtt, Izráel fiai részéről, hogy szolgáljanak az Úr szolgálatában.
12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks, and thou shalt offer the one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, to Jehovah, to make atonement for the Levites.
A léviták pedig tegyék kezeiket a tulkok fejére; azután készítsd el az egyiket bűnért való áldozatul, a másikat pedig egészen égőáldozatul az Úrnak, a lévitákért engesztelésül.
13 And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them as a wave-offering to Jehovah.
És állassad a lévitákat Áron elé, és az ő fiai elé, és lóbáld meg őket áldozatul az Úrnak.
14 And thou shalt separate the Levites from among the children of Israel, that the Levites may be mine.
És válaszd külön a lévitákat Izráel fiai közül, hogy a léviták legyenek az enyéim.
15 And afterwards shall the Levites come in to do the service of the tent of meeting. And thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them as a wave-offering.
És azután menjenek el a léviták a gyülekezet sátorában való szolgálatra. Így tisztítsd meg őket, és lóbáld meg őket áldozatul.
16 For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of every one that breaketh open the womb, instead of every firstborn among the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.
Mert bizony nékem adattak ők Izráel fiai közül; mind azok helyett, a kik az ő anyjok méhét megnyitják; Izráelnek elsőszülöttei helyett vettem őket magamnak.
17 For all the firstborn among the children of Israel are mine, both of man and beast; on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt, I hallowed them to myself.
Mert enyém minden elsőszülött Izráel fiai között, emberből és baromból; a naptól fogva, hogy megöltem minden elsőszülöttet Égyiptom földén, magamnak szenteltem azokat.
18 And I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
A lévitákat pedig minden elsőszülött helyett vettem magamnak Izráel fiai között.
19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons, from among the children of Israel, to perform the service of the children of Israel in the tent of meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel; that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel draw near to the sanctuary.
És odaadtam a lévitákat adományul Áronnak és az ő fiainak Izráel fiai közül, hogy Izráel fiainak tisztében járjanak a gyülekezet sátorában, és hogy engesztelést végezzenek Izráel fiaiért, és ne legyen Izráel fiai között csapás, ha a szenthelyhez közelednek Izráel fiai.
20 And Moses and Aaron, and all the assembly of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses concerning the Levites: so did the children of Israel to them.
Úgy cselekedék azért Mózes és Áron, és Izráel fiainak egész gyülekezete a lévitákkal; a mint parancsolt vala az Úr Mózesnek a léviták felől, mindazt úgy cselekedék ő velök Izráel fiai.
21 And the Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their garments; and Aaron offered them as a wave-offering before Jehovah; and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.
És megtisztíták magokat a léviták, és megmosák ruháikat, és meglóbálá őket Áron áldozatul az Úr előtt, és engesztelést szerze nékik Áron, hogy tisztákká tegye őket.
22 And afterwards the Levites came in to perform their service in the tent of meeting before Aaron, and before his sons; as Jehovah had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they to them.
Azután pedig bemenének a léviták, hogy végezzék az ő szolgálatukat a gyülekezetnek sátorában Áron előtt és az ő fiai előtt; a miképen parancsolt vala az Úr Mózesnek a léviták felől, akképen cselekedének velök.
23 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Szóla pedig az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:
24 This is that which concerneth the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward shall he come to labour in the work of the service of the tent of meeting.
Ez is a lévitákra tartozik: Huszonöt esztendős korától fogva és azon felül, menjen be, hogy szolgálatot teljesítsen a gyülekezet sátorának szolgálatában.
25 And from fifty years old he shall retire from the labour of the service, and shall serve no more;
Ötven esztendős korától pedig lépjen ki e szolgálatnak sorából, és ne szolgáljon többé.
26 but he shall minister with his brethren in the tent of meeting, and keep the charge, but he shall not serve [in] the service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites with regard to their charges.
Hanem segítse az ő atyafiait a gyülekezet sátorában, hogy azok az ő tisztökben eljárjanak; de szolgálatot ne teljesítsen. E képen cselekedjél a lévitákkal az ő szolgálatukban.
