Numbers 36
1 And the chief fathers of families of the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spoke before Moses, and before the princes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel:
೧ಯೋಸೇಫನ ವಂಶದವರೊಳಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ ಮಾಕೀರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಕುಲಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು,
2 and they said, Jehovah commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel; and my lord was commanded by Jehovah to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.
೨“ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಚೀಟುಹಾಕಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಒಡೆಯನಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ತರುವಾಯ ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಕುಲದವನಾದ ಚಲ್ಪಹಾದನಿಗೆ ಬರತಕ್ಕ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಅವನ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಮಾಡಿದನು.
3 Now if they be married to any of the sons of the [other] tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and shall be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong; and it shall be taken from the lot of our inheritance.
೩ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಬೇರೆ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೆ ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಸ್ವತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅವರು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವುದು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವತ್ತಿಗೆ ನಷ್ಟವುಂಟಾಗುವುದು.
4 And when the jubilee of the children of Israel shall come, then shall their inheritance be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong; and their inheritance shall be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.
೪ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರವು ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವರ ಸ್ವತ್ತು ಅವರು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕುಲದ ಸ್ವತ್ತಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವುದು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
5 And Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of Jehovah, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath said well.
೫ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ, “ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಕುಲದವರು ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತು ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
6 This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry whom they please; only they shall marry one of the tribe of their father,
೬ಆದಕಾರಣ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಚಲ್ಪಹಾದನ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಅಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ‘ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಲದ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ತಮಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟಬಂದವರನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು’ ಎಂಬುದೇ.
7 that no inheritance of the children of Israel pass from tribe to tribe; for every one of the children of Israel shall keep to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
೭ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಯಾವ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವೂ ಒಂದು ಕುಲದಿಂದ ಬೇರೊಂದು ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬಾರದು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮ ಕುಲಗಳ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡೇ ಇರಬೇಕು.
8 And every daughter that possesseth an inheritance among the tribes of the children of Israel, shall be married to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may possess every one the inheritance of his fathers,
೮ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ವಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸ್ವಕುಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
9 and the inheritance shall not pass from one tribe to another tribe; for each of the tribes of the children of Israel shall keep to his inheritance.
೯ಹೀಗೆ ಯಾವ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವೂ ಒಂದು ಕುಲದಿಂದ ಬೇರೊಂದು ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕುಲವು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡೇ ಇರುವುದು” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
10 Even as Jehovah had commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad;
೧೦ಚಲ್ಪಹಾದನ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಜ್ಞಾನುಸಾರವೇ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
11 and Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married unto their uncles' sons.
೧೧ಚಲ್ಪಹಾದನ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಮಹ್ಲಾ, ತಿರ್ಚಾ, ಹೊಗ್ಲಾ, ಮಿಲ್ಕಾ, ನೋವಾ ಎಂಬುವವರು ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಕುಲದವರನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
12 To those that were of the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph were they married; and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.
೧೨ಅವರು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೇ ಮದುವೆಯಾದುದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಸ್ವತ್ತು ತಂದೆಯ ಕುಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಉಳಿಯಿತು.
13 These are the commandments and the ordinances which Jehovah commanded through Moses to the children of Israel, in the plains of Moab, by the Jordan of Jericho.
೧೩ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರಿಕೋ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹತ್ತಿರವಿರುವ ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಆಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಗಳು ಇವೇ.
