< Numbers 24 >

1 And Balaam saw that it was good in the sight of Jehovah to bless Israel, and he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.
Nzokande, tango Balami amonaki ete Yawe azalaki kaka na esengo ya kopambola Isalaele, alukaki lisusu bimoniseli te ndenge azalaki kosala na bambala mosusu, kasi abalolaki elongi na ye na esobe.
2 And Balaam lifted up his eyes and saw Israel dwelling [in tents] according to his tribes; and the Spirit of God came upon him.
Tango Balami atalaki, amonaki Isalaele bavanda na milako na bango, bato na bato na libota na bango. Molimo na Nzambe ayaki likolo na ye;
3 And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor saith, and the man of opened eye saith,
mpe akomaki koloba maloba oyo: « Tala maloba ya Balami, mwana mobali ya Beori, maloba ya moto oyo miso na ye emonaka polele,
4 He saith, who heareth the words of God, who seeth the vision of the Almighty, who falleth down, and who hath his eyes open:
maloba ya moto oyo ayokaka maloba ya Nzambe, oyo amonaka bimoniseli oyo ewutaka epai ya Nkolo-Na-Nguya-Nyonso, oyo miso na ye efungwamaka soki akweyi na molimo:
5 How goodly are thy tents, Jacob, and thy tabernacles, Israel!
‹ Oh Jakobi, tala ndenge bandako na yo ya kapo ezali kitoko, mpe bisika oyo ovandaka, oh Isalaele!
6 Like valleys are they spread forth, like gardens by the river side, Like aloe-trees which Jehovah hath planted, like cedars beside the waters.
Epanzana lokola miluka ya mike-mike, lokola bilanga oyo ezalaka pembeni ya ebale, lokola banzete ya aloe oyo Yawe alona, lokola banzete ya sedele pembeni ya mayi.
7 Water shall flow out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in great waters, And his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
Mayi ekotiola wuta na bibombelo na bango, bankona na bango ekozwa mayi ebele. Mokonzi na bango akozala monene koleka Agagi, bokonzi na bango ekozala ya lokumu.
8 God brought him out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of a buffalo. He shall consume the nations his enemies, and break their bones, and with his arrows shall smite [them] in pieces.
Nzambe abimisaki bango na Ejipito, bazalaka makasi lokola mpakasa, babebisaka bikolo oyo ebundisaka bango mpe babukaka mikuwa na bango na biteni-biteni, batobolaka yango na makonga na bango.
9 He stooped, he lay down like a lion, and like a lioness: who will stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.
Bagunzamaka mpe balalaka lokola nkosi ya mobali, lokola nkosi ya mwasi; nani akokoka kotelemisa bango? Tika ete oyo akopambola yo apambolama, mpe oyo akolakela yo mabe alakelama mabe! › »
10 Then Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together; and Balak said to Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and behold, thou hast altogether blessed [them] these three times!
Balaki atombokelaki Balami makasi. Abetaki maboko na ye mpe alobaki: — Nabengisaki yo mpo ete olakela banguna na ngai mabe, kasi yo opamboli bango mbala misato.
11 And now flee thou to thy place; I said I would very highly honour thee, and behold, Jehovah has kept thee back from honour.
Yango wana, longwa na miso na ngai mpe zonga na mboka na yo! Nalobaki ete nakopesa yo lifuti ya malamu, kasi Yawe azangisi yo lifuti yango.
12 And Balaam said to Balak, Did I not also speak to thy messengers whom thou sentest to me, saying,
Balami azongiselaki Balaki: — Boni, nalobaki te na bantoma oyo otindelaki ngai ete
13 If Balak gave me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the commandment of Jehovah to do good or bad out of my heart: what Jehovah shall say, that will I speak?
« Ata soki Balaki apesi ngai palata mpe wolo oyo etondi na ndako na ye, nakosala eloko moko te na mokano na ngai moko, ezala ya malamu to ya mabe, mpo ete nakende libanda ya mitindo na Yawe te. Nasala kaka oyo Yawe alobi. »
14 And now behold, I go to my people: come, I will admonish thee what this people will do to thy people at the end of days.
Mpe sik’oyo, nazali kozonga na ngai epai ya bato na ngai; kasi yaka, nakokebisa yo na tina na makambo oyo bato oyo bakosala bato na yo na mikolo ekoya.
15 And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor saith, and the man of opened eye saith,
Bongo Balami alobaki maloba oyo: « Tala maloba ya Balami, mwana mobali ya Beori, maloba ya moto oyo miso na ye emonaka polele,
16 He saith, who heareth the words of God, who knoweth the knowledge of the Most High, Who seeth the vision of the Almighty, who falleth down, and who hath his eyes open:
oyo ayokaka maloba na Nzambe, oyo ayebaka basekele ya Ye-Oyo-Aleki-Likolo, oyo azwaka emoniseli kowuta na Nkolo-Na-Nguya-Nyonso, oyo soki akweyi na molimo, miso na ye efungwamaka:
17 I shall see him, but not now; I shall behold him, but not nigh: There cometh a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and he shall cut in pieces the corners of Moab, and destroy all the sons of tumult.
‹ Namoni ye, kasi sik’oyo te; natali ye, kasi na pembeni te. Monzoto moko ekobima wuta na Jakobi, mpe lingenda ekobima wuta na Isalaele. Akotobola mito ya bato ya Moabi mpe akoboma bana mibali nyonso ya Seti.
18 And Edom shall be a possession, and Seir a possession, — they, his enemies; but Israel will do valiantly.
Bakobotola mokili ya Edomi, bakobotola Seiri, monguna na ye, kasi Isalaele akokoma lisusu makasi koleka.
19 And one out of Jacob shall have dominion, and will destroy out of the city what remaineth.
Mokonzi moko akobima wuta na Jakobi, mpe akoboma batikali nyonso ya engumba. › »
20 And he saw Amalek, and took up his parable, and said, Amalek is the first of the nations, but his latter end shall be for destruction.
Balami amonaki Amaleki mpe alobaki maloba oyo: « Amaleki ezalaki na molongo ya liboso kati na bikolo, kasi ekosuka na libebi. »
21 And he saw the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Firm is thy dwelling-place, and thy nest fixed in the rock;
Sima, amonaki bato ya Keni mpe alobaki maloba oyo: « Esika na yo ya kovanda ezali makasi, zala na yo ezalaka kati na mabanga;
22 But the Kenite shall be consumed, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive.
kasi bino bato ya Keni, bokobebisama tango Ashuri akozwa bino lokola bakangami. »
23 And he took up his parable, and said, Alas! Who shall live when God doeth this?
Mpe na suka, alobaki maloba oyo: « Oh mawa! Nani akoki kozala na bomoi, wana Nzambe akozala kosala makambo ya boye?
24 And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and afflict Asshur, and afflict Eber, and he also shall be for destruction.
Bamasuwa ekoya wuta na mabongo ya Kitimi, bakonyokola Ashuri mpe Eberi, kasi bango moko mpe bakobebisama. »
25 And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place; and Balak also went his way.
Bongo Balami atelemaki mpe azongaki epai na ye, Balaki mpe akendeki na nzela na ye.
