Numbers 1
1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai in the tent of meeting, on the first of the second month, in the second year after their departure from the land of Egypt, saying,
Y habló Jehová a Moisés en el desierto de Sinaí en el tabernáculo del testimonio, en el primero del mes segundo, en el segundo año de su salida de la tierra de Egipto, diciendo:
2 Take the sum of the whole assembly of the children of Israel, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, every male, according to their polls;
Tomád la copia de toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, por la cuenta de los nombres, todos los varones por sus cabezas.
3 from twenty years and upward, all that go forth to military service in Israel: ye shall number them according to their hosts, thou and Aaron.
De veinte años y arriba, todos los que salen a la guerra en Israel; contarlos heis tú y Aarón por sus cuadrillas.
4 And with you there shall be a man for every tribe, a man who is the head of his father's house.
Y estarán con vosotros un varón de cada tribu, cada uno que sea cabeza de la casa de sus padres.
5 And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: for Reuben, Elizur the son of Shedeur;
Y estos son los nombres de los varones, que estarán con vosotros. De Rubén: Elisur, hijo de Seduer.
6 for Simeon, Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai;
De Simeón: Salamiel, hijo de Surisaddai.
7 for Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab;
De Judá: Nahasón, hijo de Aminadab.
8 for Issachar, Nethaneel the son of Zuar;
De Isacar: Natanael, hijo de Suar.
9 for Zebulun, Eliab the son of Helon;
De Zabulón: Eliab, hijo de Helón.
10 for the children of Joseph: for Ephraim, Elishama the son of Ammihud; for Manasseh, Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur;
De los hijos de José: de Efraím: Elisama, hijo de Ammiud: de Manasés: Gamaliel, hijo de Fadassur.
11 for Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gideoni;
De Ben-jamín: Abidán, hijo de Gedeón.
12 for Dan, Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai;
De Dan: Ahiezer, hijo de Ammisaddai.
13 for Asher, Pagiel the son of Ocran;
De Aser: Fegiel, hijo de Ocrán.
14 for Gad, Eliasaph the son of Deuel;
De Gad: Eliasaf, hijo de Dehuel.
15 for Naphtali, Ahira the son of Enan.

16 These were those summoned of the assembly, princes of the tribes of their fathers, the heads of the thousands of Israel.
Estos eran los nombrados de la congregación, príncipes de las tribus de sus padres, capitanes de los millares de Israel.
17 And Moses and Aaron took these men who are expressed by their names,
Tomó pues Moisés y Aarón a estos varones, que fueron declarados por sus nombres:
18 and gathered the whole assembly together on the first of the second month. And they declared their pedigrees after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, according to their polls.
Y juntaron toda la congregación en el primero del mes segundo, y fueron juntados por sus linajes, por las casas de sus padres, por la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, por sus cabezas,
19 As Jehovah had commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
Como Jehová lo había mandado a Moisés: y contólos en el desierto de Sinaí.
20 And the sons of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
Y fueron los hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres por sus cabezas, todos los varones de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;
21 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Rubén, cuarenta y seis mil y quinientos.
22 Of the sons of Simeon: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, those that were numbered of them, by the number of the names, according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
De los hijos de Simeón, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, los contados de él conforme a la cuenta de los nombres por sus cabezas, todos varones de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;
23 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Simeón, cincuenta y nueve mil y trescientos.
24 Of the sons of Gad: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
De los hijos de Gad, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;
25 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Gad, cuarenta y cinco mil y seiscientos y cincuenta.
26 Of the sons of Judah: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
De los hijos de Judá, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;
27 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Judá, setenta y cuatro mil y seiscientos.
28 Of the sons of Issachar: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
De los hijos de Isacar, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;
29 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand four hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Isacar, cincuenta y cuatro mil y cuatrocientos.
30 Of the sons of Zebulun: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
De los hijos de Zabulón, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;
31 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Zabulón, cincuenta y siete mil y cuatrocientos.
32 Of the sons of Joseph: of the children of Ephraim: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
De los hijos de José, de los hijos de Efraím, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;
33 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand five hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Efraím, cuarenta mil y quinientos.
34 Of the children of Manasseh: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
De los hijos de Manasés, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;
35 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Manasés, treinta y dos mil y doscientos.
36 Of the sons of Benjamin: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
De los hijos de Ben-jamín, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;
37 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Ben-jamín, treinta y cinco mil y cuatrocientos.
38 Of the sons of Dan: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
De los hijos de Dan, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;
39 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Dan, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Dan, sesenta y dos mil y sietecientos.
40 Of the sons of Asher: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
De los hijos de Aser, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;
41 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand five hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Aser, cuarenta y un mil y quinientos.
42 Of the sons of Naphtali: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:
De los hijos de Neftalí, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;
43 those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Neftalí, cincuenta y tres mil y cuatrocientos.
44 These are those that were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, the twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.
Estos fueron los contados, que contó Moisés, y Aarón y los doce varones príncipes de Israel, un varón por casa de sus padres fueron.
45 And all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, according to their fathers' houses, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service in Israel,
Y fueron todos los contados de los hijos de Israel, por las casas de sus padres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra en Israel;
46 all they that were numbered were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.
Fueron todos los contados seiscientos y tres mil, y quinientos y cincuenta.
47 But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.
Mas los Levitas no fueron contados entre ellos por la tribu de sus padres.
48 For Jehovah had spoken to Moses, saying,
Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:
49 Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel.
Empero tú no contarás la tribu de Leví, ni tomarás la cuenta de ellos entre los hijos de Israel.
50 But thou, appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all its vessels; and they shall serve it, and round about the tabernacle shall they encamp;
Mas tú pondrás a los Levitas en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y sobre todos sus vasos, y sobre todas las cosas, que les pertenecen: ellos llevarán el tabernáculo y todos sus vasos, y ellos servirán en él, y asentarán sus tiendas al derredor del tabernáculo.
51 and when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle encampeth, the Levites shall set it up; and the stranger that cometh near shall be put to death.
Y cuando el tabernáculo partiere, los Levitas lo desarmarán: y cuando el tabernáculo parare, los Levitas lo armarán: y el extraño que se llegare, morirá.
52 And the children of Israel shall encamp every man in his camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their hosts;
Y los hijos de Israel asentarán sus tiendas cada uno en su escuadrón, y cada uno junto a su bandera por sus cuadrillas;
53 but the Levites shall encamp round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there come not wrath upon the assembly of the children of Israel; and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
Mas los Levitas asentarán las suyas al rededor del tabernáculo del testimonio, y no habrá ira sobre la congregación de los hijos de Israel: y los Levitas tendrán la guarda del tabernáculo del testimonio.
54 And the children of Israel did so; according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses, so did they.
E hicieron los hijos de Israel conforme a todas las cosas, que Jehová mandó a Moisés: así lo hicieron.
