Nehemiah 12
1 And these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,

2 Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,

7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkijah, Jedaiah. These were the chief of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua.
Salu, Amoque, Hilquias, Jedaías. Estes eram os chefes dos sacerdotes e seus irmãos nos dias de Jesua.
8 And the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah, [who was] over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren;
E os levitas foram: Jesua, Binui, Cadmiel, Serebias, Judá, e Matanias: este e seus irmãos eram responsáveis pelas ações de graças.
9 and Bakbukiah and Unni, their brethren, were over against them as watches.
E Bacbuquias e Uni, seus irmãos, em frente deles em suas responsabilidades.
10 And Jeshua begot Joiakim, and Joiakim begot Eliashib, and Eliashib begot Joiada,
E Jesua gerou a Joiaquim, e Joiaquim gerou a Eliasibe e Eliasibe gerou a Joiada,
11 and Joiada begot Jonathan, and Jonathan begot Jaddua.

12 And in the days of Joiakim were priests, chief fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
E nos dias de Joiaquim os sacerdotes chefes das famílias foram: de Seraías, Meraías; de Jeremias, Hananias;
13 of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;

14 of Melicu, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;

22 of the Levites, the chief fathers were recorded in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, and the priests, until the reign of Darius the Persian.
Os Levitas nos dias de Eliasibe, de Joiada, e de Joanã e Jadua, foram escritos por chefes de famílias; como também os sacerdotes, até o reinado de Dario o persa.
23 The children of Levi, the chief fathers, were recorded in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.
Os filhos de Levi, chefes de famílias, foram escritos no livro das crônicas até os dias de Joanã, filho de Eliasibe.
24 And the chief Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise [and] to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward.
E os chefes dos Levitas foram: Hasabias, Serebias, e Jesua filho de Cadmiel, e seus irmãos em frente deles, para louvarem [e] darem graças, conforme o mandamento de Davi, homem de Deus, cada um com sua responsabilidade.
25 Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were doorkeepers keeping the ward at the storehouses of the gates.
Matanias, e Bacbuquias, Obadias, Mesulão, Talmom, Acube, eram porteiros que faziam guarda às entradas das portas.
26 These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.
Estes foram nos dias de Joiaquim, filho de Jesua, filho de Jozadaque, como também nos dias do governador Neemias, e do sacerdote Esdras, o escriba.
27 And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to hold the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, [with] cymbals, lutes and harps.
E na dedicação dos muros de Jerusalém buscaram aos Levitas de todos os lugares, para os trazerem a Jerusalém, a fim de fazerem a dedicação com alegrias, com ações de graças, e com cânticos, com címbalos, liras e harpas.
28 And the children of the singers were assembled, both from the plain [of Jordan] round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of the Netophathites,
E assim ajuntaram os filhos dos cantores, tanto da planície ao redor de Jerusalém como das aldeias de Netofati;
29 also from Beth-Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth; for the singers had built themselves hamlets round about Jerusalem.
Como também da casa de Gilgal, e dos campos de Geba, e de Azmavete; porque os cantores haviam edificado para si aldeias ao redor de Jerusalém.
30 And the priests and the Levites purified themselves; and they purified the people, and the gates and the wall.
E os sacerdotes e os levitas se purificaram, e depois purificaram ao povo, às portas, e ao muro.
31 And I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great choirs and processions, on the right hand upon the wall towards the dung-gate.
Então eu fiz subir aos príncipes de Judá sobre o muro, e ordenei dois coros grandes que foram em procissão: um à direita sobre o muro em direção à porta do Esterco.
32 And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,
E após eles ia Hosaías, e a metade dos príncipes de Judá,
33 and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
E Azarias, Esdras, Mesulão,
34 Judah and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,
Judá, Benjamim, Semaías, e Jeremias;
35 and [certain] of the priests' sons with trumpets: Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph;
E dos filhos dos sacerdotes com trombetas, Zacarias filho de Jônatas, filho de Semaías, filho de Matanias, filho de Micaías, filho de Zacur, filho de Asafe;
36 and his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God; and Ezra the scribe before them.
E seus irmãos Semaías, e Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Natanael, Judá e Hanani, com os instrumentos musicais de Davi, homem de Deus; e o escriba Esdras [ia] diante deles.
37 And at the fountain-gate, and over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the ascent of the wall, above the house of David, even to the water-gate eastward.
[Indo] assim para a porta da Fonte, e em frente deles, subiram pelas escadarias da cidade de Davi, pela subida do muro, desde acima da casa de Davi até a porta das Águas ao oriente.
38 And the second choir went in the opposite direction upon the wall, and I after them, and the half of the people, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even to the broad wall;
E o segundo coro ia do lado oposto, e eu atrás dele; e a metade do povo [ia] sobre o muro, desde a torre dos Fornos até a muralha larga;
39 and from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the gate of the old [wall], and above the fish-gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even to the sheep-gate; and they stood still in the prison-gate.
E desde a porta de Efraim até a porta Velha, e à porta do Peixe, e a torre de Hananeel, e a torre dos Cem, até a porta das Ovelhas; e pararam na porta da Prisão.
40 And both choirs stood in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me;
Então ambos os coros pararam na casa de Deus; como também eu, e a metade dos oficiais comigo;
41 and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets;
E os sacerdotes, Eliaquim, Maaseias, Miniamim, Micaías, Elioenai, Zacarias, e Hananias, com trombetas;
42 and Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud; and Jizrahiah was their overseer.
Como também Maaseias, Semaías, Eleazar, e Uzi, Joanã, Malquias, Elão, e Ezer. E os cantores cantavam alto, juntamente com o supervisor Jezraías.
43 And that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy; and also the women and the children rejoiced. And the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
E sacrificaram naquele dia grandes sacrifícios, e alegraram-se; porque Deus os tinha alegrado muito; alegraram-se também a mulheres e as crianças; e o júbilo de Jerusalém foi ouvido até de longe.
44 And at that time men were appointed over the chambers of the treasures for the heave-offerings, for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, out of the fields of the cities, the portions assigned by the law for the priests and the Levites; for Judah rejoiced over the priests, and over the Levites that waited.
Também naquele dia foram postos homens sobre as câmaras para os tesouros, as ofertas alçadas, as primícias, e os dízimos, para juntarem nelas, dos campos das cidades, as porções da lei para os sacerdotes e os levitas; porque Judá estava alegre por causa dos sacerdotes e dos levitas que estavam servindo ali.
45 And, with the singers and the doorkeepers, they kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of David [and] of Solomon his son.
E faziam a guarda de seu Deus, e a guarda da purificação, como também os cantores e os porteiros, conforme o mandamento de Davi e de seu filho Salomão.
46 For of old, in the days of David and Asaph, there were the chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgivings to God.
Porque nos dias de Davi e de Asafe, desde a antiguidade, havia chefes dos cantores, e cânticos de louvor e de ações de graças a Deus.
47 And all Israel, in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the doorkeepers, every day what was needed, and they consecrated things for the Levites; and the Levites consecrated for the children of Aaron.
E todo Israel nos dias de Zorobabel, e nos dias de Neemias, dava as porções dos cantores e dos porteiros, cada uma em seu dia; e consagravam [porções] aos levitas, e os levitas [as] consagravam aos filhos de Arão.
