Matthew 9
1 And going on board the ship, he passed over and came to his own city.
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ଯୀଶୁ ର୍ନୌକାମାରୁହ୍ୟ ପୁନଃ ପାରମାଗତ୍ୟ ନିଜଗ୍ରାମମ୍ ଆଯଯୌ|
2 And behold, they brought to him a paralytic, laid upon a bed; and Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, Be of good courage, child; thy sins are forgiven.
ତତଃ କତିପଯା ଜନା ଏକଂ ପକ୍ଷାଘାତିନଂ ସ୍ୱଟ୍ଟୋପରି ଶାଯଯିତ୍ୱା ତତ୍ସମୀପମ୍ ଆନଯନ୍; ତତୋ ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତେଷାଂ ପ୍ରତୀତିଂ ୱିଜ୍ଞାଯ ତଂ ପକ୍ଷାଘାତିନଂ ଜଗାଦ, ହେ ପୁତ୍ର, ସୁସ୍ଥିରୋ ଭୱ, ତୱ କଲୁଷସ୍ୟ ମର୍ଷଣଂ ଜାତମ୍|
3 And behold, certain of the scribes said to themselves, This [man] blasphemes.
ତାଂ କଥାଂ ନିଶମ୍ୟ କିଯନ୍ତ ଉପାଧ୍ୟାଯା ମନଃସୁ ଚିନ୍ତିତୱନ୍ତ ଏଷ ମନୁଜ ଈଶ୍ୱରଂ ନିନ୍ଦତି|
4 And Jesus, seeing their thoughts, said, Why do ye think evil things in your hearts?
ତତଃ ସ ତେଷାମ୍ ଏତାଦୃଶୀଂ ଚିନ୍ତାଂ ୱିଜ୍ଞାଯ କଥିତୱାନ୍, ଯୂଯଂ ମନଃସୁ କୃତ ଏତାଦୃଶୀଂ କୁଚିନ୍ତାଂ କୁରୁଥ?
5 For which is easier: to say, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Rise up and walk?
ତୱ ପାପମର୍ଷଣଂ ଜାତଂ, ଯଦ୍ୱା ତ୍ୱମୁତ୍ଥାଯ ଗଚ୍ଛ, ଦ୍ୱଯୋରନଯୋ ର୍ୱାକ୍ୟଯୋଃ କିଂ ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ୱକ୍ତୁଂ ସୁଗମଂ?
6 But that ye may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, (then he says to the paralytic, ) Rise up, take up thy bed and go to thy house.
କିନ୍ତୁ ମେଦିନ୍ୟାଂ କଲୁଷଂ କ୍ଷମିତୁଂ ମନୁଜସୁତସ୍ୟ ସାମର୍ଥ୍ୟମସ୍ତୀତି ଯୂଯଂ ଯଥା ଜାନୀଥ, ତଦର୍ଥଂ ସ ତଂ ପକ୍ଷାଘାତିନଂ ଗଦିତୱାନ୍, ଉତ୍ତିଷ୍ଠ, ନିଜଶଯନୀଯଂ ଆଦାଯ ଗେହଂ ଗଚ୍ଛ|
7 And he rose up and went to his house.
ତତଃ ସ ତତ୍କ୍ଷଣାଦ୍ ଉତ୍ଥାଯ ନିଜଗେହଂ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥିତୱାନ୍|
8 But the crowds seeing [it], were in fear, and glorified God who gave such power to men.
ମାନୱା ଇତ୍ଥଂ ୱିଲୋକ୍ୟ ୱିସ୍ମଯଂ ମେନିରେ, ଈଶ୍ୱରେଣ ମାନୱାଯ ସାମର୍ଥ୍ୟମ୍ ଈଦୃଶଂ ଦତ୍ତଂ ଇତି କାରଣାତ୍ ତଂ ଧନ୍ୟଂ ବଭାଷିରେ ଚ|
9 And Jesus, passing on thence, saw a man sitting at the tax-office, called Matthew, and says to him, Follow me. And he rose up and followed him.
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତତ୍ସ୍ଥାନାଦ୍ ଗଚ୍ଛନ୍ ଗଚ୍ଛନ୍ କରସଂଗ୍ରହସ୍ଥାନେ ସମୁପୱିଷ୍ଟଂ ମଥିନାମାନମ୍ ଏକଂ ମନୁଜଂ ୱିଲୋକ୍ୟ ତଂ ବଭାଷେ, ମମ ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଆଗଚ୍ଛ, ତତଃ ସ ଉତ୍ଥାଯ ତସ୍ୟ ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ୱୱ୍ରାଜ|
10 And it came to pass, as he lay at table in the house, that behold, many tax-gatherers and sinners came and lay at table with Jesus and his disciples.
ତତଃ ପରଂ ଯୀଶୌ ଗୃହେ ଭୋକ୍ତୁମ୍ ଉପୱିଷ୍ଟେ ବହୱଃ କରସଂଗ୍ରାହିଣଃ କଲୁଷିଣଶ୍ଚ ମାନୱା ଆଗତ୍ୟ ତେନ ସାକଂ ତସ୍ୟ ଶିଷ୍ୟୈଶ୍ଚ ସାକମ୍ ଉପୱିୱିଶୁଃ|
11 And the Pharisees seeing [it], said to his disciples, Why does your teacher eat with tax-gatherers and sinners?
ଫିରୂଶିନସ୍ତଦ୍ ଦୃଷ୍ଟ୍ୱା ତସ୍ୟ ଶିଷ୍ୟାନ୍ ବଭାଷିରେ, ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ଗୁରୁଃ କିଂ ନିମିତ୍ତଂ କରସଂଗ୍ରାହିଭିଃ କଲୁଷିଭିଶ୍ଚ ସାକଂ ଭୁଂକ୍ତେ?
12 But [Jesus] hearing it, said, They that are strong have not need of a physician, but those that are ill.
ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତତ୍ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ତାନ୍ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱଦତ୍, ନିରାମଯଲୋକାନାଂ ଚିକିତ୍ସକେନ ପ୍ରଯୋଜନଂ ନାସ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ସାମଯଲୋକାନାଂ ପ୍ରଯୋଜନମାସ୍ତେ|
13 But go and learn what [that] is — I will have mercy and not sacrifice; for I have not come to call righteous [men] but sinners.
ଅତୋ ଯୂଯଂ ଯାତ୍ୱା ୱଚନସ୍ୟାସ୍ୟାର୍ଥଂ ଶିକ୍ଷଧ୍ୱମ୍, ଦଯାଯାଂ ମେ ଯଥା ପ୍ରୀତି ର୍ନ ତଥା ଯଜ୍ଞକର୍ମ୍ମଣି| ଯତୋଽହଂ ଧାର୍ମ୍ମିକାନ୍ ଆହ୍ୱାତୁଂ ନାଗତୋଽସ୍ମି କିନ୍ତୁ ମନଃ ପରିୱର୍ତ୍ତଯିତୁଂ ପାପିନ ଆହ୍ୱାତୁମ୍ ଆଗତୋଽସ୍ମି|
14 Then come to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees often fast, but thy disciples fast not?
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ଯୋହନଃ ଶିଷ୍ୟାସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ସମୀପମ୍ ଆଗତ୍ୟ କଥଯାମାସୁଃ, ଫିରୂଶିନୋ ୱଯଞ୍ଚ ପୁନଃ ପୁନରୁପୱସାମଃ, କିନ୍ତୁ ତୱ ଶିଷ୍ୟା ନୋପୱସନ୍ତି, କୁତଃ?
15 And Jesus said to them, Can the sons of the bridechamber mourn so long as the bridegroom is with them? But days will come when the bridegroom will have been taken away from them, and then they will fast.
ତଦା ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତାନ୍ ଅୱୋଚତ୍ ଯାୱତ୍ ସଖୀନାଂ ସଂଙ୍ଗେ କନ୍ୟାଯା ୱରସ୍ତିଷ୍ଠତି, ତାୱତ୍ କିଂ ତେ ୱିଲାପଂ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ଶକ୍ଲୁୱନ୍ତି? କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦା ତେଷାଂ ସଂଙ୍ଗାଦ୍ ୱରଂ ନଯନ୍ତି, ତାଦୃଶଃ ସମଯ ଆଗମିଷ୍ୟତି, ତଦା ତେ ଉପୱତ୍ସ୍ୟନ୍ତି|
16 But no one puts a patch of new cloth on an old garment, for its filling up takes from the garment and a worse rent takes place.
ପୁରାତନୱସନେ କୋପି ନୱୀନୱସ୍ତ୍ରଂ ନ ଯୋଜଯତି, ଯସ୍ମାତ୍ ତେନ ଯୋଜିତେନ ପୁରାତନୱସନଂ ଛିନତ୍ତି ତଚ୍ଛିଦ୍ରଞ୍ଚ ବହୁକୁତ୍ସିତଂ ଦୃଶ୍ୟତେ|
17 Nor do men put new wine into old skins, otherwise the skins burst and the wine is poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into new skins, and both are preserved together.
ଅନ୍ୟଞ୍ଚ ପୁରାତନକୁତ୍ୱାଂ କୋପି ନୱାନଗୋସ୍ତନୀରସଂ ନ ନିଦଧାତି, ଯସ୍ମାତ୍ ତଥା କୃତେ କୁତୂ ର୍ୱିଦୀର୍ୟ୍ୟତେ ତେନ ଗୋସ୍ତନୀରସଃ ପତତି କୁତୂଶ୍ଚ ନଶ୍ୟତି; ତସ୍ମାତ୍ ନୱୀନାଯାଂ କୁତ୍ୱାଂ ନୱୀନୋ ଗୋସ୍ତନୀରସଃ ସ୍ଥାପ୍ୟତେ, ତେନ ଦ୍ୱଯୋରୱନଂ ଭୱତି|
18 As he spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler coming in did homage to him, saying, My daughter has by this died; but come and lay thy hand upon her and she shall live.
ଅପରଂ ତେନୈତତ୍କଥାକଥନକାଲେ ଏକୋଽଧିପତିସ୍ତଂ ପ୍ରଣମ୍ୟ ବଭାଷେ, ମମ ଦୁହିତା ପ୍ରାଯେଣୈତାୱତ୍କାଲେ ମୃତା, ତସ୍ମାଦ୍ ଭୱାନାଗତ୍ୟ ତସ୍ୟା ଗାତ୍ରେ ହସ୍ତମର୍ପଯତୁ, ତେନ ସା ଜୀୱିଷ୍ୟତି|
19 And Jesus rose up and followed him, and [so did] his disciples.
ତଦାନୀଂ ଯୀଶୁଃ ଶିଷ୍ୟୈଃ ସାକମ୍ ଉତ୍ଥାଯ ତସ୍ୟ ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ୱୱ୍ରାଜ|
20 And behold, a woman, who had had a bloody flux [for] twelve years, came behind and touched the hem of his garment;
ଇତ୍ୟନନ୍ତରେ ଦ୍ୱାଦଶୱତ୍ସରାନ୍ ଯାୱତ୍ ପ୍ରଦରାମଯେନ ଶୀର୍ଣୈକା ନାରୀ ତସ୍ୟ ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଆଗତ୍ୟ ତସ୍ୟ ୱସନସ୍ୟ ଗ୍ରନ୍ଥିଂ ପସ୍ପର୍ଶ;
21 for she said within herself, If I should only touch his garment I shall be healed.
ଯସ୍ମାତ୍ ମଯା କେୱଲଂ ତସ୍ୟ ୱସନଂ ସ୍ପୃଷ୍ଟ୍ୱା ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ସ୍ୟତେ, ସା ନାରୀତି ମନସି ନିଶ୍ଚିତୱତୀ|
22 But Jesus turning and seeing her, said, Be of good courage, daughter; thy faith has healed thee. And the woman was healed from that hour.
ତତୋ ଯୀଶୁର୍ୱଦନଂ ପରାୱର୍ତ୍ତ୍ୟ ତାଂ ଜଗାଦ, ହେ କନ୍ୟେ, ତ୍ୱଂ ସୁସ୍ଥିରା ଭୱ, ତୱ ୱିଶ୍ୱାସସ୍ତ୍ୱାଂ ସ୍ୱସ୍ଥାମକାର୍ଷୀତ୍| ଏତଦ୍ୱାକ୍ୟେ ଗଦିତଏୱ ସା ଯୋଷିତ୍ ସ୍ୱସ୍ଥାଭୂତ୍|
23 And when Jesus was come to the house of the ruler, and saw the flute-players and the crowd making a tumult,
ଅପରଂ ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତସ୍ୟାଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷସ୍ୟ ଗେହଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ୱାଦକପ୍ରଭୃତୀନ୍ ବହୂନ୍ ଲୋକାନ୍ ଶବ୍ଦାଯମାନାନ୍ ୱିଲୋକ୍ୟ ତାନ୍ ଅୱଦତ୍,
24 he said, Withdraw, for the damsel is not dead, but sleeps. And they derided him.
ପନ୍ଥାନଂ ତ୍ୟଜ, କନ୍ୟେଯଂ ନାମ୍ରିଯତ ନିଦ୍ରିତାସ୍ତେ; କଥାମେତାଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ତେ ତମୁପଜହସୁଃ|
25 But when the crowd had been put out, he went in and took her hand; and the damsel rose up.
କିନ୍ତୁ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେଷୁ ବହିଷ୍କୃତେଷୁ ସୋଽଭ୍ୟନ୍ତରଂ ଗତ୍ୱା କନ୍ୟାଯାଃ କରଂ ଧୃତୱାନ୍, ତେନ ସୋଦତିଷ୍ଠତ୍;
26 And the fame of it went out into all that land.
ତତସ୍ତତ୍କର୍ମ୍ମଣୋ ଯଶଃ କୃତ୍ସ୍ନଂ ତଂ ଦେଶଂ ୱ୍ୟାପ୍ତୱତ୍|
27 And as Jesus passed on thence, two blind [men] followed him, crying and saying, Have mercy on us, Son of David.
ତତଃ ପରଂ ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତସ୍ମାତ୍ ସ୍ଥାନାଦ୍ ଯାତ୍ରାଂ ଚକାର; ତଦା ହେ ଦାଯୂଦଃ ସନ୍ତାନ, ଅସ୍ମାନ୍ ଦଯସ୍ୱ, ଇତି ୱଦନ୍ତୌ ଦ୍ୱୌ ଜନାୱନ୍ଧୌ ପ୍ରୋଚୈରାହୂଯନ୍ତୌ ତତ୍ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ୱୱ୍ରଜତୁଃ|
28 And when he was come to the house, the blind [men] came to him. And Jesus says to them, Do ye believe that I am able to do this? They say to him, Yea, Lord.
ତତୋ ଯୀଶୌ ଗେହମଧ୍ୟଂ ପ୍ରୱିଷ୍ଟଂ ତାୱପି ତସ୍ୟ ସମୀପମ୍ ଉପସ୍ଥିତୱନ୍ତୌ, ତଦାନୀଂ ସ ତୌ ପୃଷ୍ଟୱାନ୍ କର୍ମ୍ମୈତତ୍ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ମମ ସାମର୍ଥ୍ୟମ୍ ଆସ୍ତେ, ଯୁୱାଂ କିମିତି ପ୍ରତୀଥଃ? ତଦା ତୌ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୂଚତୁଃ, ସତ୍ୟଂ ପ୍ରଭୋ|
29 Then he touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith, be it unto you.
ତଦାନୀଂ ସ ତଯୋ ର୍ଲୋଚନାନି ସ୍ପୃଶନ୍ ବଭାଷେ, ଯୁୱଯୋଃ ପ୍ରତୀତ୍ୟନୁସାରାଦ୍ ଯୁୱଯୋ ର୍ମଙ୍ଗଲଂ ଭୂଯାତ୍| ତେନ ତତ୍କ୍ଷଣାତ୍ ତଯୋ ର୍ନେତ୍ରାଣି ପ୍ରସନ୍ନାନ୍ୟଭୱନ୍,
30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus charged them sharply, saying, See, let no man know it.
ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତୌ ଦୃଢମାଜ୍ଞାପ୍ୟ ଜଗାଦ, ଅୱଧତ୍ତମ୍ ଏତାଂ କଥାଂ କୋପି ମନୁଜୋ ମ ଜାନୀଯାତ୍|
31 But they, when they were gone out, spread his name abroad in all that land.
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୌ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାଯ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ କୃତ୍ସ୍ନେ ଦେଶେ ତସ୍ୟ କୀର୍ତ୍ତିଂ ପ୍ରକାଶଯାମାସତୁଃ|
32 But as these were going out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed by a demon.
ଅପରଂ ତୌ ବହିର୍ୟାତ ଏତସ୍ମିନ୍ନନ୍ତରେ ମନୁଜା ଏକଂ ଭୂତଗ୍ରସ୍ତମୂକଂ ତସ୍ୟ ସମୀପମ୍ ଆନୀତୱନ୍ତଃ|
33 And the demon having been cast out, the dumb spake. And the crowds were astonished, saying, It has never been seen thus in Israel.
ତେନ ଭୂତେ ତ୍ୟାଜିତେ ସ ମୂକଃ କଥାଂ କଥଯିତୁଂ ପ୍ରାରଭତ, ତେନ ଜନା ୱିସ୍ମଯଂ ୱିଜ୍ଞାଯ କଥଯାମାସୁଃ, ଇସ୍ରାଯେଲୋ ୱଂଶେ କଦାପି ନେଦୃଗଦୃଶ୍ୟତ;
34 But the Pharisees said, He casts out the demons through the prince of the demons.
କିନ୍ତୁ ଫିରୂଶିନଃ କଥଯାଞ୍ଚକ୍ରୁଃ ଭୂତାଧିପତିନା ସ ଭୂତାନ୍ ତ୍ୟାଜଯତି|
35 And Jesus went round all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the glad tidings of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every bodily weakness.
ତତଃ ପରଂ ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତେଷାଂ ଭଜନଭୱନ ଉପଦିଶନ୍ ରାଜ୍ୟସ୍ୟ ସୁସଂୱାଦଂ ପ୍ରଚାରଯନ୍ ଲୋକାନାଂ ଯସ୍ୟ ଯ ଆମଯୋ ଯା ଚ ପୀଡାସୀତ୍, ତାନ୍ ଶମଯନ୍ ଶମଯଂଶ୍ଚ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାଣି ନଗରାଣି ଗ୍ରାମାଂଶ୍ଚ ବଭ୍ରାମ|
36 But when he saw the crowds he was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed, and cast away as sheep not having a shepherd.
ଅନ୍ୟଞ୍ଚ ମନୁଜାନ୍ ୱ୍ୟାକୁଲାନ୍ ଅରକ୍ଷକମେଷାନିୱ ଚ ତ୍ୟକ୍ତାନ୍ ନିରୀକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ତେଷୁ କାରୁଣିକଃ ସନ୍ ଶିଷ୍ୟାନ୍ ଅୱଦତ୍,
37 Then saith he to his disciples, The harvest [is] great and the workmen [are] few;
ଶସ୍ୟାନି ପ୍ରଚୁରାଣି ସନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ଛେତ୍ତାରଃ ସ୍ତୋକାଃ|
38 supplicate therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth workmen unto his harvest.
କ୍ଷେତ୍ରଂ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟପରାନ୍ ଛେଦକାନ୍ ପ୍ରହେତୁଂ ଶସ୍ୟସ୍ୱାମିନଂ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥଯଧ୍ୱମ୍|
