Luke 1
1 Forasmuch as many have undertaken to draw up a relation concerning the matters fully believed among us,
১আমাৰ মাজত যিবোৰ ঘটনা ঘটিল, সেইবোৰ ঘটনাৰ বিৱৰণ লিপিবদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ অনেক ব্যক্তিয়ে চেষ্টা কৰিছে।
2 as those who from the beginning were eye-witnesses of and attendants on the Word have delivered them to us,
২আদিৰে পৰা যি সকলে নিজৰ চকুৰে দেখিছিল আৰু যি সকল দাসে বাক্য ঘোষণা কৰিছিল, তেওঁলোকেই আমাক এইবোৰ জনালে।
3 it has seemed good to me also, accurately acquainted from the origin with all things, to write to thee with method, most excellent Theophilus,
৩এই হেতুকে, হে মহামহিম থিয়ফিল, এই সম্বন্ধে মই প্রথমৰে পৰা ভালদৰে অনুসন্ধান কৰিলোঁ আৰু সেয়ে আপোনালৈ একাদিক্রমে লিখা উচিত হব যেন দেখিলোঁ।
4 that thou mightest know the certainty of those things in which thou hast been instructed.
৪মই ইচ্ছা কৰোঁ, আপুনিও যেন এই বিষয়বোৰৰ শিক্ষা পায়, আৰু সেইবোৰৰ সত্যতা জানিব পাৰে।
5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest, by name Zacharias, of the course of Abia, and his wife of the daughters of Aaron, and her name Elizabeth.
৫যিহুদীয়াৰ ৰজা হেৰোদৰ দিনত পুৰোহিত অবিয়ৰ দলত জখৰিয়া নামেৰে এজন পুৰোহিত আছিল; জখৰিয়াৰ ভার্যা এলীচাবেৎ হাৰোণৰ বংশৰ আছিল।
6 And they were both just before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
৬এওঁলোক দুয়ো ঈশ্বৰৰ দৃষ্টিত ধাৰ্মিক, পবিত্ৰ আছিল। প্ৰভুৰ সকলো আজ্ঞা আৰু বিধানত উভয়ে নিখুঁত ৰূপে জীৱন-যাপন কৰিছিল।
7 And they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both advanced in years.
৭কিন্তু এলীচাবেৎ বন্ধ্যা হোৱা কাৰণে, তেওঁলোকৰ কোনো সন্তান নাছিল। তেওঁলোক দুয়ো বয়সতো অতি বৃদ্ধ আছিল।
8 And it came to pass, as he fulfilled his priestly service before God in the order of his course,
৮এদিন নিজৰ দলৰ পাল ক্রমে পুৰোহিতৰ দায়িত্ব পোৱাত, জখৰিয়াই পুৰোহিত হিচাপে ঈশ্বৰৰ সন্মুখত কার্য কৰি আছিল;
9 it fell to him by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to enter into the temple of the Lord to burn incense.
৯কিয়নো পুৰোহিত সকলৰ কার্য-প্রণালী অনুযায়ী প্ৰভুৰ মন্দিৰত সোমাই ধূপ জ্বলাবলৈ তেওঁৰ ওপৰত পাল পৰিল।
10 And all the multitude of the people were praying without at the hour of incense.
১০ধূপ জ্বলোৱাৰ সময়ত তাত গোট খোৱা সকলো লোকে বাহিৰত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰি আছিল।
11 And an angel of [the] Lord appeared to him, standing on the right of the altar of incense.
১১এনে সময়তে প্ৰভুৰ এজন দূত আহি জখৰিয়াৰ সন্মুখত উপস্থিত হৈ ধূপ বেদিৰ সোঁফালে থিয় হ’ল।
12 And Zacharias was troubled, seeing [him], and fear fell upon him.
১২স্বর্গৰ দূতক দেখি জখৰিয়া চমকি উঠিল আৰু তেওঁৰ ভয় লাগিল।
13 But the angel said to him, Fear not, Zacharias, because thy supplication has been heard, and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
১৩কিন্তু সেই দূতে তেওঁক ক’লে, “হে জখৰিয়া, ভয় নকৰিবা; কিয়নো তোমাৰ প্ৰার্থনা শুনা গল, আৰু তোমাৰ ভার্যা এলীচাবেতে এজন পুত্ৰ প্ৰসৱ কৰিব আৰু তুমি তেওঁৰ নাম যোহন থবা।”
14 And he shall be to thee joy and rejoicing, and many shall rejoice at his birth.
১৪তেওঁৰ কাৰণে তোমাৰ আনন্দ আৰু উল্লাস হব, আৰু তেওঁৰ জন্মত অনেকে আনন্দ কৰিব।
15 For he shall be great before [the] Lord, and he shall drink no wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with [the] Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.
১৫কিয়নো প্ৰভুৰ দৃষ্টিত তেওঁ মহান হব; তেওঁ দ্ৰাক্ষাৰস বা সুৰা পান নকৰিব; আৰু ওপজাৰে পৰা পবিত্ৰ আত্মাৰে পূর্ণ হব।
16 And many of the sons of Israel shall he turn to [the] Lord their God.
১৬ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলৰ অনেকক তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ প্রভু ঈশ্বৰলৈ ঘূৰাব।
17 And he shall go before him in [the] spirit and power of Elias, to turn hearts of fathers to children, and disobedient ones to [the] thoughts of just [men], to make ready for [the] Lord a prepared people.
১৭তেওঁ এলিয়াৰ আত্মা আৰু শক্তিৰে সৈতে প্ৰভুৰ আগে আগে যাব। তেওঁ পিতৃ সকলৰ মন তেওঁলোকৰ সন্তানলৈ ঘূৰাব আৰু অবাধ্য সকলক ধাৰ্মিকতাৰ জ্ঞানলৈ ঘূৰাব। এইদৰে তেওঁ প্রভুৰ কাৰণে যুগুতোৱা লোক সকলক প্রস্তুত কৰিব।
18 And Zacharias said to the angel, How shall I know this, for I am an old man, and my wife advanced in years?
১৮তেতিয়া জখৰিয়াই সেই দূতক ক’লে, “ইয়াক মই কেনেকৈ জানিম? কিয়নো মই বৃদ্ধ হৈছোঁ আৰু মোৰ ভার্য্যাও অতি বৃদ্ধা হৈছে।”
19 And the angel answering, said to him, I am Gabriel, who stand before God, and I have been sent to speak to thee, and to bring these glad tidings to thee;
১৯তাতে দূতে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “মই গাব্রিয়েল; ঈশ্বৰৰ সাক্ষাতে মই থিয় হৈ থাকোঁ; তোমাৰ সৈতে কথা হবলৈ আৰু তোমাৰ আগত এই শুভবাৰ্তা ঘোষণা কৰিবৰ বাবে মোক পঠোৱা হ’ল।
20 and behold, thou shalt be silent and not able to speak, till the day in which these things shall take place, because thou hast not believed my words, the which shall be fulfilled in their time.
২০চোৱা, এইবোৰ ঘটনা নঘটা পর্যন্ত তুমি বোবা হৈ থাকিবা; কোনো কথা কব নোৱাৰিবা; কাৰণ তুমি মোৰ কথা বিশ্বাস নকৰিলা। কিন্তু এই সকলো কথা নিৰূপিত সময়ত পূর্ণ হব।”
21 And the people were awaiting Zacharias, and they wondered at his delaying in the temple.
২১আনপিনে, মানুহবোৰে জখৰিয়াৰ বাবে অপেক্ষা কৰি আছিল আৰু মন্দিৰৰ ভিতৰত তেওঁৰ পলম হোৱা দেখি চিন্তিত হ’ল।
22 But when he came out he could not speak to them, and they recognised that he had seen a vision in the temple. And he was making signs to them, and continued dumb.
২২পাছত তেওঁ যেতিয়া বাহিৰলৈ আহিল, লোক সকলৰ লগত একো কথা কব নোৱাৰিলে; তেতিয়া লোক সকলে বুজিব পাৰিলে যে মন্দিৰৰ ভিতৰত তেওঁ কোনো দর্শন পাইছে। কিন্তু তেওঁ লোক সকলৰ সৈতে ইংগিতেৰেহে কথা পাতিলে, মুখেৰে কোনো কথা কব নোৱাৰিলে।
23 And it came to pass, when the days of his service were completed, he departed to his house.
২৩ইয়াৰ পাছত তেওঁৰ সেৱা কার্যৰ পাল সম্পূর্ণ হোৱাত, তেওঁ নিজৰ ঘৰলৈ গ’ল।
24 Now after these days, Elizabeth his wife conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,
২৪কিছুদিনৰ পাছত তেওঁৰ ভার্যা এলীচাবেৎ গর্ভৱতী হ’ল; আৰু পাঁচ মাহলৈকে ঘৰৰ পৰা বাহিৰ নোলাল। তেওঁ ক’লে
25 Thus has [the] Lord done to me in [these] days in which he looked upon [me] to take away my reproach among men.
২৫“এই কার্য মোৰ বাবে প্রভুৱে কৰিলে। মানুহৰ মাজত মোৰ লজ্জা দূৰ কৰিবলৈ তেওঁ মোৰ ফালে দয়াৰ দৃষ্টি কৰিলে।”
26 But in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent of God to a city of Galilee, of which [the] name [was] Nazareth,
২৬এলীচাবেৎ যেতিয়া ছয় মাহৰ গর্ভৱতী, তেতিয়া ঈশ্বৰে গাব্রিয়েল দূতক গালীল প্ৰদেশৰ নাচৰত নগৰৰ মৰিয়ম নামেৰে এক কুমাৰীৰ ওচৰলৈ পঠালে।
27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name [was] Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name [was] Mary.
২৭এই কুমাৰী ৰজা দায়ুদৰ বংশৰ যোচেফ নামেৰে এজন ব্যক্তিলৈ বাগ্দান কৰা আছিল।
28 And the angel came in to her, and said, Hail, [thou] favoured one! the Lord [is] with thee: [blessed art thou amongst women].
২৮তাতে সেই দূতে তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি ক’লে, “হে মহা অনুগ্ৰহ পোৱা কন্যা, তোমাৰ মঙ্গল হওক! প্ৰভু তোমাৰ লগত আছে।”
29 But she, [seeing] [the angel], was troubled at his word, and reasoned in her mind what this salutation might be.
২৯কিন্তু এই কথা শুনি মৰিয়মৰ উগুল-থুগুল লাগিল আৰু আচৰিত হৈ ভাবিলে “ই কেনে মঙ্গলবাদ!”
30 And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found favour with God;
৩০স্বর্গৰ দূতে তেওঁক ক’লে, “হে মৰিয়ম, ভয় নকৰিবা; কিয়নো তুমি ঈশ্বৰৰ দ্বাৰা অনুগ্ৰহ পালা।
31 and behold, thou shalt conceive in the womb and bear a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus.
৩১চোৱা, তুমি গর্ভৱতী হৈ এটি পুত্ৰ প্ৰসৱ কৰিবা আৰু তেওঁৰ নাম যীচু থবা।
32 He shall be great, and shall be called Son of [the] Highest; and [the] Lord God shall give him the throne of David his father;
৩২তেওঁ মহান হব, আৰু সর্বোপৰি জনৰ পুত্ৰ বুলি প্ৰখ্যাত হব। প্ৰভু পৰমেশ্বৰে তেওঁৰ পূর্বপুৰুষ দায়ুদৰ সিংহাসন তেওঁক দিব;
33 and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for the ages, and of his kingdom there shall not be an end. (aiōn g165)
৩৩যাকোবৰ বংশৰ ওপৰত তেওঁ চিৰকাল ৰাজত্ব কৰিব, আৰু তেওঁৰ ৰাজ্যৰ কেতিয়াও অন্ত নহব।” (aiōn g165)
34 But Mary said to the angel, How shall this be, since I know not a man?
৩৪তেতিয়া মৰিয়মে স্বর্গৰ দূতক ক’লে, “ই কেনেকৈ সম্ভৱ হব পাৰে? কাৰণ মই এজনী কুমাৰী।”
35 And the angel answering said to her, [The] Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and power of [the] Highest overshadow thee, wherefore the holy thing also which shall be born shall be called Son of God.
৩৫তেতিয়া স্বর্গৰ দূতে উত্তৰ দি তেওঁক ক’লে, “পবিত্ৰ আত্মা তোমাৰ ওপৰলৈ আহিব, আৰু সর্বোপৰি ঈশ্বৰৰ শক্তিয়ে তোমাক ছাঁ দি ধৰিব। এই হেতুকে সেই পবিত্র গর্ভফলৰ নাম ঈশ্বৰৰ পুত্র বুলি প্রখ্যাত হব,
36 And behold, Elizabeth, thy kinswoman, she also has conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month to her that was called barren:
৩৬আৰু চোৱা, তোমাৰ আত্মীয় এলীচাবেতে বৃদ্ধাকালতো গর্ভত পুত্ৰ সন্তান ধাৰণ কৰিছে; যদিও তেওঁক লোকে বাঁজী বুলিছিল, কিন্তু তেওঁ এতিয়া ছয় মাহৰ গর্ভৱতী।
37 for nothing shall be impossible with God.
৩৭কিয়নো ঈশ্বৰৰ বাবে কোনো বিষয় অসাধ্য নহয়।”
38 And Mary said, Behold the bondmaid of [the] Lord; be it to me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
৩৮মৰিয়মে ক’লে, “প্ৰভুৰ দাসী যি মই, মোলৈ আপুনি কোৱাৰ দৰে হওক।” ইয়াৰ পাছতে স্বর্গৰ দূত মৰিয়মৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা গুচি গ’ল।
39 And Mary, rising up in those days, went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah,
৩৯তেতিয়া মৰিয়মে উঠি বেগাবেগিকৈ যিহুদীয়াৰ পার্বত্য অঞ্চলৰ এখন নগৰলৈ গ’ল
40 and entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elizabeth.
৪০তাত জখৰিয়াৰ ঘৰত সোমাই মৰিয়মে এলীচাবেতক অভিবাদন জনালে।
41 And it came to pass, as Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with [the] Holy Spirit,
৪১তাতে মৰিয়মৰ সেই মঙ্গলবাদ শুনা মাত্রেই, এলীচাবেতৰ গর্ভৰ শিশুটি নাচি উঠিল; আৰু এলীচাবেত পবিত্ৰ আত্মাৰে পূর্ণ হ’ল।
42 and cried out with a loud voice and said, Blessed [art] thou amongst women, and blessed the fruit of thy womb.
৪২তাৰ পাছত এলীচাবেতে বৰ ডাঙৰ মাতেৰে কবলৈ ধৰিলে, “তিৰোতা সকলৰ মাজত তুমি ধন্যা; আৰু তোমাৰ গর্ভফলো ধন্য।
43 And whence [is] this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
৪৩মোৰ প্ৰভুৰ মাতৃ যে মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিছে, মোৰ এনে সৌভাগ্য কেনেকৈ হ’ল?
44 For behold, as the voice of thy salutation sounded in my ears, the babe leaped with joy in my womb.
৪৪কিয়নো তোমাৰ মঙ্গলবাদৰ স্বৰ মোৰ কাণত পৰাৰ লগে লগে, মোৰ গর্ভৰ শিশুটি উল্লাসত নাচি উঠিল।
45 And blessed [is] she that has believed, for there shall be a fulfilment of the things spoken to her from [the] Lord.
৪৫তুমি ধন্যা; কিয়নো প্ৰভুৱে তোমাক যি যি কথা কৈছিল, সেই সকলো সিদ্ধ হব বুলি তুমি বিশ্বাস কৰিলা।”
46 And Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord,
৪৬তেতিয়া মৰিয়মে ক’লে, “মোৰ প্ৰাণে প্ৰভুৰ মহিমা বর্ণাইছে,
47 and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour.
৪৭মোৰ আত্মাই মোৰ ত্ৰাণকর্তা ঈশ্বৰত উল্লাস কৰে।
48 For he has looked upon the low estate of his bondmaid; for behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
৪৮কিয়নো তেওঁ তেওঁৰ দাসীৰ নীহ অৱস্থালৈ চালে; আৰু এতিয়াৰ পৰা পুৰুষানুক্ৰমে সকলোৱে মোক ধন্যা বুলিব।
49 For the Mighty One has done to me great things, and holy [is] his name;
৪৯কিয়নো পৰাক্ৰমী জনে মোৰ কাৰণে মহৎ কর্ম কৰিলে; আৰু তেওঁৰ নাম পবিত্ৰ।
50 and his mercy [is] to generations and generations to them that fear him.
৫০যি সকলে তেওঁলৈ ভয় কৰে, পুৰুষে পুৰুষে তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত তেওঁৰ দয়া থাকে।
51 He has wrought strength with his arm; he has scattered haughty [ones] in the thought of their heart.
৫১তেওঁ নিজ বাহুৰ দ্বাৰাই পৰাক্ৰমী কর্ম কৰিলে। নিজ নিজ অন্তৰত অহংকাৰ কৰা সকলক তেওঁ ছিন্ন-ভিন্ন কৰিলে।
52 He has put down rulers from thrones, and exalted the lowly.
৫২তেওঁ শাসক সকলক সিংহাসনৰ পৰা নমাই দিলে, কিন্তু নীহ লোকক তুলি ধৰিলে।
53 He has filled the hungry with good things, and sent away the rich empty.
৫৩তেওঁ ক্ষুধাতুৰ লোকক উত্তম বস্তু দিলে আৰু ধনৱন্তক শুদা-হাতে পঠাই দিলে।
54 He has helped Israel his servant, in order to remember mercy,
৫৪তেওঁ নিজৰ দাস ইস্ৰায়েলক সাহায্য কৰিলে, তেওঁ দয়ালু;
৫৫অব্রাহাম আৰু তেওঁৰ বংশলৈ চিৰকাল দয়া কৰিবৰ কাৰণে, যেনেকৈ তেওঁ আমাৰ পূর্বপুৰুষ সকলৰ ওচৰত প্রতিজ্ঞা কৰিছিল, সেই বিষয় তেওঁ সোঁৱৰণ কৰিলে।” (aiōn g165)
56 And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her house.
৫৬পাছত এলীচাবেতৰ লগত মৰিয়ম তিনি মাহ মান থাকি নিজৰ ঘৰলৈ উলটি আহিল।
57 But the time was fulfilled for Elizabeth that she should bring forth, and she gave birth to a son.
৫৭পাছত এলীচাবেতৰ প্ৰসৱৰ কাল পূৰ্ণ হোৱাত, তেওঁ এটি পুত্ৰ প্ৰসৱ কৰিলে।
58 And her neighbours and kinsfolk heard that [the] Lord had magnified his mercy with her, and they rejoiced with her.
৫৮তাতে ওচৰ চুবুৰীয়া আৰু আত্মীয় স্বজনে যেতিয়া শুনিলে যে প্ৰভুৱে তেওঁৰ প্রতি দয়া কৰিলে, তেতিয়া সকলোৱে তেওঁৰে সৈতে আনন্দ কৰিলে।
59 And it came to pass on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they called it after the name of his father, Zacharias.
৫৯তাৰ পাছত আঠ দিনৰ দিনা তেওঁলোকে শিশুটিক লৈ চুন্নৎ কৰিবলৈ আহিল আৰু সকলোৱে বাপেকৰ নাম অনুসাৰে শিশুৰ নাম জখৰিয়া থব খুজিছিল;
60 And his mother answering said, No; but he shall be called John.
৬০কিন্তু মাকে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “নহয় ইয়াৰ নাম যোহন হব।”
61 And they said to her, There is no one among thy kinsfolk who is called by this name.
৬১তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে এলীচাবেতক ক’লে, “তোমাৰ বংশৰ মাজত এই নাম কাৰো নাই।”
62 And they made signs to his father as to what he might wish it to be called.
৬২পাছত তেওঁলোকে সংকেত দি ল’ৰাৰ বাপেকৰ পৰা জানিব বিচাৰিলে যে, তেওঁ কি নাম দিব ইচ্ছা কৰে।
63 And having asked for a writing-table, he wrote saying, John is his name. And they all wondered.
৬৩তেতিয়া তেওঁ ফলি খুজি তাত লিখিলে, “ইয়াৰ নাম ‘যোহন’।” তাতে সকলোৱে বিস্ময় মানিলে।
64 And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue, and he spake, blessing God.
৬৪তেতিয়াই জখৰিয়াৰ মুখ আৰু জিভাৰ বান্ধ মুকলি হৈ গ’ল আৰু তেওঁ ঈশ্বৰৰ প্রশংসা কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
65 And fear came upon all who dwelt round about them; and in the whole hill-country of Judaea all these things were the subject of conversation.
৬৫তেতিয়া আশে-পাশে থকা লোক সকল আচৰিত হ’ল আৰু যিহুদীয়াৰ গোটেই পার্বত্য অঞ্চলৰ লোক সকলে যি ঘটিল সেই বিষয়ে কোৱা-কুই কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
66 And all who heard them laid them up in their heart, saying, What then will this child be? And [the] Lord's hand was with him.
৬৬যি সকলে এই কথা শুনিলে, তেওঁলোকে মনে মনে বিষয়টো ভাৱি কবলৈ ধৰিলে, “ভৱিষ্যতে এই ল’ৰা তেনেহলে কি হব?” কিয়নো তেওঁলোকে বুজিছিল যে প্ৰভুৰ হাত তেওঁৰ লগত আছে।
67 And Zacharias his father was filled with [the] Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying,
৬৭পাছত ল’ৰা জনৰ পিতৃ জখৰিয়াই পবিত্ৰ আত্মাৰে পৰিপূর্ণ হৈ, এই ভাবোক্তি প্ৰচাৰ কৰিলে।
68 Blessed be [the] Lord the God of Israel, because he has visited and wrought redemption for his people,
৬৮‘ইস্ৰায়েলৰ প্ৰভু ঈশ্বৰৰ প্রশংসা হওক; কিয়নো তেওঁ নিজৰ মানুহবোৰক সহায় কৰিবলৈ আৰু তেওঁলোকক মুক্ত কৰিবলৈ আহিছে।
69 and raised up a horn of deliverance for us in the house of David his servant;
৬৯তেওঁ আমাৰ কাৰণে তেওঁৰ দাস দায়ুদৰ বংশত এজন শক্তিশালী ত্রাণকর্তাক দিলে।
70 as he spoke by [the] mouth of his holy prophets, who have been since the world began; (aiōn g165)
৭০এই বিষয়ে ঈশ্বৰে পবিত্র ভাৱবাদী সকলৰ দ্বাৰা পূৰ্বতে কৈছিল। (aiōn g165)
71 deliverance from our enemies and out of the hand of all who hate us;
৭১তেওঁ শত্রু সকলৰ হাতৰ পৰা আৰু যি সকলে আমাক ঘৃণা কৰে, সেই সকলোৰে হাতৰ পৰা আমাক ৰক্ষা কৰাৰ প্রতিশ্রুতি দিলে।
72 to fulfil mercy with our fathers and remember his holy covenant,
৭২তেওঁ আমাৰ পূর্বপুৰুষ সকলৰ প্রতি দয়া দেখুৱাব আৰু তেওঁৰ পবিত্র বিধান সোঁৱৰণ কৰাব;
73 [the] oath which he swore to Abraham our father,
৭৩এই বিধান হৈছে প্রতিজ্ঞা, যি আমাৰ পূর্বপুৰুষ অব্রাহামক তেওঁ দিছিল।
74 to give us, that, saved out of the hand of our enemies, we should serve him without fear
৭৪শত্রুবোৰৰ হাতৰ পৰা আমাক মুক্ত কৰিম বুলি তেওঁ প্রতিশ্রুতি দিলে, যাতে আমি নির্ভয়ে তেওঁৰ আগত সেৱা কৰিব পাৰোঁ,
75 in piety and righteousness before him all our days.
৭৫আৰু আমাৰ জীৱনৰ আয়ুসৰ কালত পবিত্র আৰু ধাৰ্মিকতাৰে সেৱা কৰি থাকিব পাৰোঁ।
76 And thou, child, shalt be called [the] prophet of [the] Highest; for thou shalt go before the face of [the] Lord to make ready his ways;
৭৬হে মোৰ সন্তান, তোমাক সর্বোপৰি জনৰ ভাৱবাদী বুলি কোৱা হব; কিয়নো তুমি প্রভুৰ আগমণৰ কাৰণে লোক সকলক যুগুত কৰিবলৈ তেওঁৰ আগে আগে যাবা।
77 to give knowledge of deliverance to his people by [the] remission of their sins
৭৭লোক সকলক পাপৰ ক্ষমা লাভৰ দ্বাৰা পৰিত্রাণ পোৱাত সহায় পাবলৈ শিক্ষা দিবা।
78 on account of [the] bowels of mercy of our God; wherein [the] dayspring from on high has visited us,
৭৮ঈশ্বৰে আমাক ক্ষমা কৰিব, কাৰণ তেওঁ কোমল চিত্তৰ আৰু দয়ালু। তেওঁ কৰুণাৰে পুৱাৰ অৰুণৰ দৰে ত্রাণকর্তাই স্বর্গৰ পৰা আমাক সহায় কৰিবলৈ আহিব।
79 to shine upon them who were sitting in darkness and in [the] shadow of death, to guide our feet into [the] way of peace.
৭৯তেওঁ অন্ধকাৰ আৰু মৃত্যুছায়াত বহি থকা লোক সকলক পোহৰ দিব। তেওঁ আমাৰ ভৰি শান্তিৰ পথত গমন কৰাব’।
80 — And the child grew and was strengthened in spirit; and he was in the deserts until the day of his shewing to Israel.
৮০এনেদৰে যোহন বাপ্তাইজক বাঢ়িবলৈ ধৰিলে আৰু আত্মাত শক্তিশালী হৈ উঠিল; ইস্ৰায়েল জাতিৰ আগত মুকলিকৈ প্ৰকাশ হোৱাৰ আগলৈকে তেওঁ মৰুপ্ৰান্তত বাস কৰিছিল।
