< Luke 24 >

1 But on the morrow of the sabbath, very early indeed in the morning, they came to the tomb, bringing the aromatic spices which they had prepared.

Adudagi Jisuna makhoida hanglak-i, “Nakhoina chatna chatna kari maramda khannaribano aduga karigi pukning waribano?”
18 And one [of them], named Cleopas, answering said to him, Thou sojournest alone in Jerusalem, and dost not know what has taken place in it in these days?

19 And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, The things concerning Jesus the Nazaraean, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;
Maduda Ibungona makhoida hanglak-i, “Kari kari thoudok thokkhrabage?” Makhoina Ibungoda khumlak-i, “Thokkhibasing adu Nazareth-ki Jisugi maramdani. Mahak Tengban Mapu amadi misinggi mangda wahei amadi thabakta matik leiba Tengban Mapugi wa phongdokpiba maichou amani.

21 But we had hoped that he was [the one] who is about to redeem Israel. But then, besides all these things, it is now, to-day, the third day since these things took place.
Eikhoinadi Israel-bu maning tamhanbigadaba misak adu Ibungomakni haina asha toujarambani! Pumnamaksing asi thokkhiba ngasina humni subani.
22 And withal, certain women from amongst us astonished us, having been very early at the sepulchre,

32 And they said to one another, Was not our heart burning in us as he spoke to us on the way, [and] as he opened the scriptures to us?
Adudagi makhoi masel hainarak-i, “Mahakna lambida eikhoida wari saringei amadi Tengban Mapugi Puya eikhoida sandokna taklingei matamda eikhoida nunggi harao-nungaibana thankhidra?”

Adubu Ibungona makhoida hairak-i, “Nakhoina karigi aduk kiribano? Nakhoigi thamoida karigi chingnabasing asi laklibano?
39 behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Handle me and see, for a spirit has not flesh and bones as ye see me having.

46 and said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved the Christ to suffer, and to rise from among the dead the third day;
