Leviticus 21
1 And Jehovah said to Moses, Speak unto the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none make himself unclean for a dead person among his peoples,
Још рече Господ Мојсију: Кажи свештеницима синовима Ароновим, и реци им: За мртвацем да се не скврни ни један у народу свом,
2 except for his immediate relation, who is near unto him — for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother;
Осим за родом својим по крви, за матером својом или за оцем својим или за сином својим или за кћерју својом или за братом својим,
3 and for his sister, a virgin, that is near unto him, who hath had no husband, for her may he make himself unclean.
Или за рођеном сестром својом, девојком, која није имала мужа; за њом се може оскврнити.
4 He shall not make himself unclean [who is] a chief among his peoples, to profane himself.
Ако је ожењен, да се не оскврни за женом својом у народу свом учинивши се нечист.
5 They shall not make any baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corners of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
Да се не начине ћелави чупајући косу с главе своје и да не брију браде своје, нити се режу по телу свом.
6 They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God; for they present Jehovah's offerings by fire, the bread of their God; therefore shall they be holy.
Нека буду свети Богу свом, и нека не скврне име Бога свог, јер приносе жртве огњене Господње, хлеб Бога свог, зато нека су свети.
7 They shall not take as wife a whore, or a dishonoured woman; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband; for he is holy unto his God.
Нека се не жене женом курвом или силованом; ни пуштеницом нека се не жене; јер су свети Богу свом.
8 And thou shalt hallow him; for the bread of thy God doth he present: he shall be holy unto thee; for I, Jehovah, who hallow you am holy.
И теби нека је сваки свет, јер приноси хлеб Бога твог; свет нека ти је, јер сам ја свет, Господ, који вас посвећујем.
9 And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burned with fire.
А кћи свештеничка која се оскврни курвајући се, скврни оца свог, огњем нека се спали.
10 And the high priest among his brethren, on whose head the anointing oil was poured, and who is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his garments.
А свештеник највиши између браће своје, коме се на главу излије уље помазања и који је посвећен да се облачи у свете хаљине, нека не открива главе своје, и хаљине своје нека не раздире.
11 Neither shall he come near any person dead, nor make himself unclean for his father and for his mother;
И к мртвацу ни једном нека не иде, ни за оцем својим ни за матером својом да се не оскврни.
12 neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am Jehovah.
И из светиње нека не излази, да не би оскврнио светињу Бога свог, јер је на њену венац, уље помазања Бога његовог; ја сам Господ.
13 And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
Он нека се жени девицом.
14 A widow, or a divorced woman, or a dishonoured one, a harlot, these shall he not take; but he shall take as wife a virgin from among his peoples.
Удовицом или пуштеницом или силованом или курвом да се не жени; него девојком из народа свог нека се ожени.
15 And he shall not profane his seed among his peoples; for I am Jehovah who do hallow him.
И нека не скврни семе народа свог у народу свом, јер сам ја Господ, који га посвећујем.
16 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Опет рече Господ Мојсију говорећи:
17 Speak unto Aaron, saying, Any of thy seed throughout their generations that hath any defect, shall not approach to present the bread of his God;
Кажи Арону и реци: У кога би из семена твог од колена до колена била мана на телу, онај нека не приступа да приноси хлеб Бога свог.
18 for whatever man hath a defect, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or one limb longer than the other,
Јер нико на коме би била мана не ваља да приступа, ни слеп, ни хром, ни у кога би био који уд превећ мали или превећ велики,
19 or a man that is broken-footed, or broken-handed,
Ни у кога је сломљена нога или рука,
20 or hump-backed, or withered, or that hath a spot in his eye, or hath the itch, or scabs, or his testicles broken.
Ни грбав, ни дрљав, ни ко има биону на оку, ни шугав, ни лишајив, ни просут.
21 No man of the seed of Aaron the priest that hath defect shall come near to present Jehovah's offerings by fire: he hath a defect; he shall not come near to present the bread of his God.
У кога би год из семена Арона свештеника била каква мана на телу, нека не приступа да приноси жртве огњене Господу; мана је на њему; да не приступа да приноси хлеб Бога свог.
22 The bread of his God, of the most holy and of the holy, shall he eat;
Али хлеб Бога свог од ствари пресветих и од ствари светих нека једе;
23 only he shall not come in unto the veil, nor shall he draw near unto the altar; for he hath a defect: that he profane not my sanctuaries; for I am Jehovah who do hallow them.
Али за завес нека не улази; к олтару нека се не приближује, јер је мана на њему, па нека не скврни светиње моје, јер сам ја Господ који их посвећујем.
24 And Moses told it to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel.
И Мојсије каза то Арону и синовима његовим и свим синовима Израиљевим.
