Joshua 19
1 And the second lot came forth to Simeon, for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families; and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.
Ixaan lammaffaan gosa Simiʼooniif balbala balbalaan baʼe. Dhaalli isaaniis dhaala gosa Yihuudaa keessatti argama.
2 And they had in their inheritance Beer-sheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,
Kunis: Bersheebaa yookaan Shebaa, Molaadaa,
3 and Hazar-Shual, and Balah, and Ezem,
Hazar Shuuʼaal, Baalaa, Ezem,
4 and Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,
Eltolaad, Betuul, Hormaa,
5 and Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
Siiqlaag, Beet Markaabot, Hazar Suusaa,
6 and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities and their hamlets;
Beet Lebaaʼotii fi Shaaruheen; magaalaawwanii fi gandoonni isaanii kudha sadii turan;
7 Ain, Rimmon, and Ether, and Ashan: four cities and their hamlets;
Ayin, Rimoon, Eteerii fi Ashaan, magaalaawwanii fi gandoota isaanii afran,
8 and all the hamlets that are round these cities to Baalath-beer, [that is] Ramah of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
akkasumas gandoota naannoo magaalaawwan kanneenii jiran kanneen hamma Baaʼilaat Biʼeeritti jechuunis hamma Raamaat ishee Negeeb keessaa sanaatti balʼata. Dhaalli gosti Simiʼoon balbala balbalaan argate kanaa dha.
9 Out of the lot of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too great for them, and the children of Simeon inherited within their inheritance.
Sababii qoodni gosa Yihuudaa hamma isaan barbaadanii ol taʼeef dhaalli gosa Simiʼoon kun qooda gosa Yihuudaa irraa fudhatame. Kanaafuu gosti Simiʼoon Yihuudaa keessatti dhaala argate.
10 And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. And the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid;
Ixaan sadaffaan gosa Zebuulooniif balbala balbalaan baʼe; kunis: Daariin dhaala isaanii hamma Saariiditti deema.
11 and their border went up westwards, and [to] Marealah, and reached to Dabbesheth, and reached to the torrent that is before Jokneam;
Achiis karaa lixaatiin gara Mareʼaalaatti gad buʼee Dabesheetitti riiqatee hamma laga Yoqeniʼaam dura jiru sanaatti deema.
12 and turned from Sarid eastward, toward the sun-rising, to the border of Chisloth-Tabor, and went out to Dabrath, and went up to Japhia;
Ergasiis Saariid irraa gara Kisloti Taaboor biyya baʼa biiftuutti argamtu sanaatti gara baʼaatti goree Daaberaatitti qajeelee hamma Yaafiiyaatti deema.
13 and from thence it passed eastward toward the sun-rising to Gath-Hepher, to Eth-kazin, and went out to Rimmon which reaches to Neah;
Achiis karaa baʼaatiin itti fufee Gat Heeferii fi Eetqaaxin dhaqa; Rimooniin gad baʼee gara Neʼaahitti gora.
14 and the border turned round it northwards to Hannathon: and ended in the valley of Jiphthah-el; ...
Daariin sunis karaa kaabaatiin gara Hanaatoonitti goree Sulula Yiftaa Eelitti dhuma.
15 and Kattath, and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Jidalah, and Beth-lehem: twelve cities and their hamlets.
Kanneen irrattis Qaataat, Naahaalal, Shimroon, Yidalaa fi Beetlihem dabalamaniiru. Isaaniis gandoota isaanii wajjin magaalaawwan kudha lama turan.
16 This was the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.
Magaalaawwan kunneenii fi gandoonni isaanii dhaala gosti Zebuuloon balbala balbalaan argatee dha.
17 The fourth lot came forth to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.
Ixaan afuraffaan gosa Yisaakoriif balbala balbalaan baʼe.
18 And their territory was toward Jizreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
Biyyi isaaniis: Yizriʼeel, Kesuloot, Suunam,
19 and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,
Hafaarayim, Shiiʼoon, Anaaharat,
20 and Rabbith, and Kishion, and Ebez,
Rabiit, Kishoon, Ebezi,
21 and Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;
Remeet, Een Ganiim, Een Hadaa fi Beet Phaxeex.
22 and the border reached to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities and their hamlets.
Daariin isaanii Taaboor, Shahazumaa fi Beet Shemesh tuqee Yordaanos gaʼee dhaabata. Isaanis gandoota isaanii wajjin magaalaawwan kudha jaʼa turan.
23 This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.
Magaalaawwan kunneenii fi gandoonni isaanii dhaala gosti Yisaakor balbala balbalaan argatee dha.
24 And the fifth lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
Ixaan shanaffaan gosa Aasheeriif balbala balbalaan baʼe.
25 And their territory was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Acshaph,
Biyyi isaaniis: Helqaat, Halii, Beten, Akshaaf,
26 and Allammelech, and Amead, and Mishal; and [the border] reached to Carmel westwards, and to Shihor-libnath,
Alaamelek, Amaadii fi Mishiʼaal. Daangaan sunis karaa lixaatiin Qarmeloosii fi Shiihoor Libnaat tuqa.
27 and turned towards the sun-rising to Beth-Dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthah-el northward [to] Beth-emek and Neiel, and went out to Cabul on the left,
Ergasii karaa baʼa biiftuutiin gara Beet Daagonitti goree Zebuuloonii fi Sulula Yiftaa Eelitti qabatee Kaabuulin gara bitaatti dhiisee karaa kaabaatiin Beet Emeeqii fi Neʼiiʼeelitti qajeela.
28 and Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, as far as great Zidon;
Achiis kaʼee gara Eebroon, Rehoob, gara Hamoonii fi Qaanaatti ol baʼee hamma Siidoonaa Guddichaatti deema.
29 and the border turned to Ramah, and as far as the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah; and ended at the sea by the tract of country of Achzib;
Daangaan sunis ergasii gara Raamaatti goree magaalaa Xiiroos kan dallaa jabaa qabu sanaa dhaqee gara Hoosaatti goree karaa Akziibiitiin galaana gaʼee dhaabata;
30 and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities and their hamlets.
kunis biyya Umaa, biyya Afeeqiitii fi Rehoob dabalata. Isaanis gandoota isaanii wajjin magaalaawwan digdamii lama turan.
31 This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.
Magaalaawwan kunneenii fi gandoonni isaanii dhaala gosti Aasheer balbala balbalaan argatee dha.
32 The sixth lot came forth to the children of Naphtali, for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
Ixaan jaʼaffaan gosa Niftaalemiif balbala balbalaan baʼe; kunis:
33 And their border was from Heleph, from the oak of Zaanannim; and Adami-nekeb and Jabneel to Lakkum; and ended at the Jordan;
Daariin isaanii Heelefii fi muka guddaa Zaʼaanaaniim keessa jiru sanaa kaʼee Adaamii Neqebii fi Yabniʼeel irraan gara Laquumiitti qajeelee Yordaanos gaʼee dhaabata.
34 and the border turned westwards to Aznoth-Tabor, and went out from thence to Hukkok, and reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah upon Jordan towards the sun-rising.
Daariin sun Aznoot Taabooritti qajeelee gara lixaatti goruudhaan Huuqooqi gaʼee dhaabata. Innis karaa kibbaatiin Zebuuloon, karaa lixatiin Aasheer, karaa baʼaatiin immoo Yordaanos tuqa.
35 And the fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
Magaalaawwan dallaa jabaa qaban kanneenii dha: Zidiimi, Zeeri, Hamaati, Raqaati; Kinereeti,
36 and Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,
Adaamaa, Raamaa, Haazoor,
37 and Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-Hazor,
Qaadesh, Edreyii, Een Haxoor,
38 and Jiron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities and their hamlets.
Yiroon, Migdaal Eel, Horeem, Beet Anaatii fi Beet Shemesh. Isaanis gandoota isaanii wajjin magaalaawwan kudha sagal turan.
39 This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.
Magaalaawwan kunneenii fi gandoonni isaanii dhaala gosti Niftaalem balbala balbalaan argatee dha.
40 The seventh lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.
Ixaan torbaffaan gosa Daaniif balbala balbalaan baʼe.
41 And the territory of their inheritance was Zoreah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,
Biyyi isaan Dhaalanis: Zoraa, Eshitaaʼol, Iir Shemesh,
42 and Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jithlah,
Shaʼalabiin, Ayaaloon, Yitlaa,
43 and Elon, and Timnathah, and Ekron,
Eeloon, Tiimnaahi, Eqroon,
44 and El-tekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,
Elteqee, Gibetoon, Baaʼilaati,
45 and Jehud, and Beneberak, and Gath-Rimmon,
Yihuud, Benee Beraaq, Gat Rimoon,
46 and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over against Japho.
Meyaarqoonii fi Raqoon Yoopheetti garagalee argamu sanaa dha.
47 And the border of the children of Dan ended with these; and the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession of it, and dwelt in it, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.
Ijoolleen Daan garuu sababii lafti dhaalan sun isaanitti dhiphatteef ol baʼanii Lesheemin waraananii qabatan; erga goraadeedhaan dhaʼanii booddee ishee dhuunfatan. Isaanis Lesheem keessa qubatanii Daan jedhanii maqaa abbaa isaaniitiin ishee moggaasan.
48 This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.
Magaalaawwan kunneenii fi gandoonni isaanii dhaala gosti Daan balbala balbalaan argatee dha.
49 And they ended dividing the land for inheritance according to its borders. And the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them.
Israaʼeloonnis erga biyyattii ixaadhaan qoodamte sana hiranii fixanii booddee gidduu isaaniitti Iyyaasuu ilma Nuunitiif dhaala kennan;
50 According to the word of Jehovah they gave him the city that he asked, Timnath-serah in the hill-country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and dwelt in it.
dhaala kanas akkuma Waaqayyo ajajetti kennan. Isaanis magaalaa inni gaafatee kennaniif; magaalaan sunis Timnaat Seeraa kan biyya gaaraa Efreemitti argamtuu dha. Innis magaalaa sana ijaaree keessa jiraate.
51 These were the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed by lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And they ended dividing the land.
Kunneen biyyoota Eleʼaazaar lubichi, Iyyaasuun ilmi Nuunitii fi hangafoonni gosoota Israaʼel Shiilootti fuula Waaqayyoo duratti balbala dunkaana wal gaʼii irratti ixaadhaan kennanii dha. Isaanis akkasiin biyyattii qooduu xumuran.
