Joshua 19
1 And the second lot came forth to Simeon, for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families; and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.
Undian kedua pembagian tanah jatuh pada suku Simeon. Tanah warisan yang diberikan kepada marga-marga suku Simeon dikelilingi oleh tanah warisan suku Yehuda.
2 And they had in their inheritance Beer-sheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,
Suku Simon mendapat tiga belas kota dan empat kota dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya sebagai warisan mereka. Tiga belas kota itu adalah Bersyeba (atau Syeba), Molada, Hazar Sual, Bala, Ezem, Eltolad, Betul, Horma, Ziklag, Bet Hamarkabot, Hazar Susa, Bet Lebaot, dan Saruhen. Empat kota itu adalah Ain, Rimon, Eter, dan Asan,
3 and Hazar-Shual, and Balah, and Ezem,
4 and Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,
5 and Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
6 and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities and their hamlets;
7 Ain, Rimmon, and Ether, and Ashan: four cities and their hamlets;
8 and all the hamlets that are round these cities to Baalath-beer, [that is] Ramah of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
termasuk semua desa di sekeliling kota-kota itu sampai sejauh kota Baalat Beer (yaitu Rama di padang belantara Negeb). Itulah warisan milik marga-marga suku Simeon.
9 Out of the lot of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too great for them, and the children of Simeon inherited within their inheritance.
Suku Simeon diberi tanah warisan di tengah-tengah wilayah suku Yehuda karena tanah warisan suku Yehuda terlalu luas bagi mereka.
10 And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. And the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid;
Undian ketiga pembagian tanah jatuh pada marga-marga suku Zebulon. Tanah warisan mereka terbentang sampai ke kota Sarid di selatan.
11 and their border went up westwards, and [to] Marealah, and reached to Dabbesheth, and reached to the torrent that is before Jokneam;
Batas selatan wilayah mereka mulai dari Sarid, naik ke arah barat laut ke kota Marala, dan sampai ke kota Dabeset, terus ke sungai yang mengalir lewat sebelah timur kota Yokneam.
12 and turned from Sarid eastward, toward the sun-rising, to the border of Chisloth-Tabor, and went out to Dabrath, and went up to Japhia;
Dari Sarid, garis batas itu menuju ke arah timur, ke perbatasan kota Kislot Tabor, lalu terus sampai kota Daberat, dan naik ke kota Yafia.
13 and from thence it passed eastward toward the sun-rising to Gath-Hepher, to Eth-kazin, and went out to Rimmon which reaches to Neah;
Dari sana, garis batas Zebulon itu menuju ke arah timur, ke kota Gat Hefer, lalu menuju ke kota Et Kazin, terus ke kota Rimon, dan berbelok di kota Nea di utara.
14 and the border turned round it northwards to Hannathon: and ended in the valley of Jiphthah-el; ...
Dari situ, garis batas utara Zebulon menuju ke kota Hanaton dan berakhir di lembah Yiftah El.
15 and Kattath, and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Jidalah, and Beth-lehem: twelve cities and their hamlets.
Di wilayah mereka ada dua belas kota dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya, termasuk Katat, Nahalal, Simron, Yidala, dan Betlehem.
16 This was the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.
Kota-kota itu dan desa-desa di sekitarnya menjadi warisan milik marga-marga suku Zebulon.
17 The fourth lot came forth to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.
Undian keempat pembagian tanah jatuh pada marga-marga suku Isakar.
18 And their territory was toward Jizreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
Di wilayah mereka ada enam belas kota dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya, yaitu Yisreel, Kesulot, Sunem, Hafaraim, Sion, Anaharat, Rabit, Kisyon, Ebes, Remet, En Ganim, En Hada, dan Bet Pazes. Batas wilayah mereka menyentuh puncak Tabor, Sahazuma, Bet Semes, dan berakhir di sungai Yordan.
19 and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,
20 and Rabbith, and Kishion, and Ebez,
21 and Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;
22 and the border reached to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities and their hamlets.
23 This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.
Kota-kota itu dan desa-desa di sekitarnya menjadi warisan milik marga-marga suku Isakar.
24 And the fifth lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
Undian kelima pembagian tanah jatuh pada marga-marga suku Asyer.
25 And their territory was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Acshaph,
Kota-kota dalam wilayah mereka termasuk Helkat, Hali, Beten, Aksaf,
26 and Allammelech, and Amead, and Mishal; and [the border] reached to Carmel westwards, and to Shihor-libnath,
Alamelek, Amad, dan Misal. Batas wilayah mereka di sebelah barat menyentuh gunung Karmel dan sungai Libnat.
27 and turned towards the sun-rising to Beth-Dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthah-el northward [to] Beth-emek and Neiel, and went out to Cabul on the left,
Dari sana garis batas itu berbelok ke arah timur menuju kota Bet Dagon, berbatasan dengan wilayah Zebulon dan lembah Yiftah El, terus ke arah utara ke kota Bet Emek dan Nehiel, terus menuju kota Kabul di arah utara,
28 and Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, as far as great Zidon;
kemudian ke kota Ebron, Rehob, Hamon, dan Kanah, sampai ke kota besar Sidon.
29 and the border turned to Ramah, and as far as the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah; and ended at the sea by the tract of country of Achzib;
Lalu batas itu berbelok ke arah Rama sampai ke kota benteng Tirus, berbelok ke kota Hosa, dan berakhir di laut, di dekat kota Hebel, Akzib,
30 and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities and their hamlets.
Uma, Afek, dan Rehob. Di wilayah itu ada dua puluh dua kota dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya.
31 This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.
Kota-kota itu dan desa-desa di sekitarnya menjadi warisan milik marga-marga suku Asyer.
32 The sixth lot came forth to the children of Naphtali, for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
Undian keenam pembagian tanah jatuh pada marga-marga suku Naftali.
33 And their border was from Heleph, from the oak of Zaanannim; and Adami-nekeb and Jabneel to Lakkum; and ended at the Jordan;
Batas utara wilayah suku Naftali mulai dari kota Helef dan pohon besar di Zaananim, lalu menuju ke kota Adami Nekeb, Yabneel, terus ke Lakum, dan berakhir di sungai Yordan.
34 and the border turned westwards to Aznoth-Tabor, and went out from thence to Hukkok, and reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah upon Jordan towards the sun-rising.
Batas ini berbelok ke arah barat ke Aznot Tabor, berlanjut ke kota Hukok, menyinggung daerah Zebulon di bagian selatan, daerah Asyer di bagian barat, dan sungai Yordan di bagian timur.
35 And the fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
Ada sembilan belas kota berbenteng di wilayah mereka dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya, yaitu Zidim, Zer, Hamat, Rakat, Kineret, Adama, Rama, Hazor, Kedes, Edrei, En Hazor, Yiron, Migdal El, Horem, Bet Anat, dan Bet Semes.
36 and Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,
37 and Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-Hazor,
38 and Jiron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities and their hamlets.
39 This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.
Kota-kota itu dan desa-desa di sekitarnya menjadi warisan milik marga-marga suku Naftali.
40 The seventh lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.
Undian ketujuh pembagian tanah jatuh pada marga-marga suku Dan.
41 And the territory of their inheritance was Zoreah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,
Wilayah suku Dan termasuk kota Zora, Estaol, Ir Semes,
42 and Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jithlah,
Saalabin, Ayalon, Yitla,
43 and Elon, and Timnathah, and Ekron,
Elon, Timna, Ekron,
44 and El-tekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,
Elteke, Gibeton, Baalat,
45 and Jehud, and Beneberak, and Gath-Rimmon,
Yehud, Bene Berak, Gat Rimon,
46 and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over against Japho.
sungai Yarkon, dan Rakon, termasuk wilayah di seberang Yopa.
47 And the border of the children of Dan ended with these; and the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession of it, and dwelt in it, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.
Tetapi orang-orang suku Dan tidak berhasil menguasai wilayah mereka. Karena itu, mereka pergi merebut kota Lesem dan menguasainya. Mereka menangkap dan membunuh semua penduduknya, lalu tinggal menetap di tempat itu. Kemudian mereka mengganti nama kota itu menjadi ‘Dan’, sesuai nama leluhur mereka.
48 This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.
Kota-kota itu dan desa-desa di sekitarnya menjadi warisan milik marga-marga suku Dan.
49 And they ended dividing the land for inheritance according to its borders. And the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them.
Sesudah orang Israel selesai membagi-bagi wilayah di antara suku-suku mereka sebagai tanah warisan, mereka memberi Yosua beberapa bidang tanah di tengah-tengah mereka sebagai tanah warisannya.
50 According to the word of Jehovah they gave him the city that he asked, Timnath-serah in the hill-country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and dwelt in it.
Sesuai perintah TUHAN, mereka memberikan kepada Yosua kota yang diinginkannya, yaitu kota Timnat Serah di daerah pegunungan Efraim. Yosua membangun kembali kota itu dan tinggal di sana.
51 These were the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed by lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And they ended dividing the land.
Demikianlah pembagian tanah warisan yang dilakukan oleh Imam Eleazar, Yosua, bersama para pemimpin setiap suku Israel dengan cara melakukan undi untuk mengetahui kehendak TUHAN, di depan pintu masuk kemah TUHAN di Silo.
