Job 26
1 And Job answered and said,
Replicó Job y dijo:
2 How hast thou helped the powerless; how saved the arm that is without strength!
“¡Cómo sabes ayudar tú al flaco, y sostener el brazo del que carece de fuerza!
3 How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom, and abundantly declared the thing as it is!
¿Qué consejo has dado al falto de sabiduría? ¿qué plenitud de saber has ostentado?
4 For whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
¿A quién dirigiste estas palabras? ¿y de quién es el espíritu que procede de tu boca?
5 The shades tremble beneath the waters and the inhabitants thereof;
Hasta los muertos tiemblan, bajo las aguas con sus habitantes.
El mismo scheol está ante Él desnudo, y el abismo carece de velo. (Sheol h7585)
7 He stretcheth out the north over empty space, he hangeth the earth upon nothing;
Él tendió el septentrión sobre el vacío, y colgó la tierra sobre la nada.
8 He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not rent under them.
Él encierra las aguas en sus nubes, y no se rompen las nubes bajo su peso.
9 He covereth the face of his throne, he spreadeth his cloud upon it.
Él impide la vista de su trono, tendiendo sobre Él su nube.
10 He hath traced a fixed circle over the waters, unto the confines of light and darkness.
Trazó un círculo sobre el haz de las aguas, hasta donde linda la luz con las tinieblas.
11 The pillars of the heavens tremble and are astonished at his rebuke.
Las columnas del cielo tiemblan, y se estremecen a una amenaza suya.
12 He stirreth up the sea by his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through Rahab.
Con su poder revuelve el mar, y con su sabiduría machaca al monstruo.
13 By his Spirit the heavens are adorned; his hand hath formed the fleeing serpent.
Con su soplo hizo serenos los cielos, y su mano formó la fugaz serpiente.
14 Lo, these are the borders of his ways; but what a whisper of a word do we hear of him! And the thunder of his power, who can understand?
Esto es solo el borde de sus caminos, es un leve susurro que hemos oído de Él; pues el trueno de su poder ¿quién podría comprenderlo?”
