Job 22
1 And Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,
౧అప్పుడు తేమాను వాడు ఎలీఫజు ఇలా జవాబిచ్చాడు.
2 Can a man be profitable to God? surely it is unto himself that the wise man is profitable.
౨మానవమాత్రులు దేవునికి ప్రయోజనకారులౌతారా? కారు. బుద్ధిమంతులు తమ మట్టుకు తామే ప్రయోజనకారులు.
3 Is it any pleasure to the Almighty if thou art righteous? And is it gain [to him] that thou makest thy ways perfect?
౩నువ్వు నీతిమంతుడివై ఉండడం సర్వశక్తుడైన దేవునికి సంతోషమా? నువ్వు యథార్థవంతుడివై ప్రవర్తించడం ఆయనకు లాభకరమా?
4 Will he reason with thee for fear of thee? Will he enter with thee into judgment?
౪ఆయన పట్ల భయభక్తులు కలిగి ఉన్నందువల్ల ఆయన నిన్ను గద్దిస్తాడా? నీ భయభక్తులను బట్టి ఆయన నీతో వ్యాజ్యెమాడుతాడా?
5 Is not thy wickedness great? and thine iniquities without end?
౫నీ చెడుతనం గొప్పది కాదా? నీ దోషాలు మితి లేనివి కావా?
6 For thou hast taken a pledge of thy brother for nought, and stripped off the clothing of the naked.
౬ఏమీ ఇవ్వకుండానే నీ సోదరుల దగ్గర నువ్వు తాకట్టు పెట్టుకున్నావు. వస్త్ర హీనుల బట్టలు తీసుకున్నావు.
7 Thou hast not given water to the fainting to drink, and thou hast withholden bread from the hungry.
౭దాహంతో సొమ్మసిల్లిన వారికి నీళ్లియ్యలేదు. ఆకలిగొన్న వాడికి అన్నం పెట్టలేదు.
8 But the powerful man, he had the land; and the man of high rank dwelt in it.
౮బాహుబలం గల వాడికే భూమి లభిస్తుంది. గొప్పవాడు అనిపించుకున్న వాడు దానిలో నివసిస్తాడు.
9 Widows hast thou sent empty away, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken.
౯వితంతువులను వట్టి చేతులతో పంపివేశావు. తండ్రి లేనివారి చేతులు విరగ్గొట్టావు.
10 Therefore snares are round about thee, and sudden fear troubleth thee;
౧౦అందుకే బోనులు నిన్ను చుట్టుముడుతున్నాయి. అకస్మాత్తుగా కలిగే భీతి నిన్ను హడలగొడుతున్నది.
11 Or darkness, that thou canst not see, and floods of waters cover thee.
౧౧నిన్ను చిక్కించుకొన్న అంధకారాన్ని నువ్వు చూడడం లేదా? నిన్ను ముంచెత్తబోతున్న ప్రళయ జలాలను నువ్వు చూడడం లేదా?
12 Is not God in the height of the heavens? And behold the summit of the stars: how exalted are they!
౧౨దేవుడు ఆకాశమంత మహోన్నతుడు కాడా? నక్షత్రాల ఔన్నత్యాన్ని చూడు. అవి ఎంత ఎత్తులో ఉన్నాయి!
13 And thou sayest, What doth God know? will he judge through the dark cloud?
౧౩“దేవుడికి ఏమి తెలుసు? గాఢాంధకారంలోనుండి ఆయన న్యాయం కనుగొంటాడా?
14 Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he seeth not; and he walketh on the vault of the heavens.
౧౪దట్టమైన మేఘాలు ఆయనకు అడ్డుగా ఉన్నాయి. ఆయన మనలను చూడలేడు. ఆకాశ గోపురంలో ఆయన తిరుగుతున్నాడు” అని నీవనుకుంటావు.
15 Dost thou mark the ancient path which wicked men have trodden?
౧౫పూర్వకాలం నుండి దుష్టులు అనుసరించిన మార్గాన్ని నువ్వు అనుసరిస్తావా?
16 Who were carried off before the time, whose foundation was overflowed with a flood;
౧౬తమ కాలం రాకముందే వారు హటాత్తుగా నిర్మూలమైపోయారు. వారి పునాదులు నదీ ప్రవాహలవలె కొట్టుకు పోయాయి.
17 Who said unto God, Depart from us! and what could the Almighty do to them?
౧౭“మా దగ్గర నుండి తొలగి పో” అని దేవునితో అంటారు. “సర్వశక్తుడు మాకు ఏమి చేస్తాడులే” అంటారు.
18 Yet he filled their houses with good. But the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
౧౮అయినా ఆయన మంచి పదార్థాలతో వారి ఇళ్ళు నింపాడు. భక్తిహీనుల ఆలోచన నాకు దూరం అగు గాక.
19 The righteous see it, and are glad; and the innocent laugh them to scorn:
౧౯నీతిమంతులు దాన్ని చూసి సంతోషిస్తారు. నిర్దోషులు వారిని హేళన చేస్తారు.
20 Is not he who rose against us destroyed, and doth not the fire consume his residue?
౨౦“మన విరోధులు నిశ్చయంగా నిర్మూలమైపోయారు. వారి సంపదను అగ్ని కాల్చివేసింది” అంటారు.
21 Reconcile thyself now with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
౨౧ఆయనతో సహవాసం చేస్తే నీకు శాంతిసమాధానాలు కలుగుతాయి. ఆ విధంగా నీకు మేలు కలుగుతుంది.
22 Receive, I pray thee, instruction from his mouth, and lay up his words in thy heart.
౨౨ఆయన నోటి నుండి వచ్చే ఉపదేశాన్ని అవలంబించు. ఆయన మాటలను నీ హృదయంలో ఉంచుకో.
23 If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up. If thou remove unrighteousness far from thy tents,
౨౩సర్వశక్తుని వైపు తిరిగి నీ నివాసాల్లో నుండి దుర్మార్గాన్ని దూరంగా తొలగిస్తే నువ్వు అభివృద్ధి పొందుతావు.
24 And put the precious ore with the dust, and [the gold of] Ophir among the stones of the torrents,
౨౪మట్టిలో నీ సిరిసంపదలను, సెలయేటి నీటిలో ఓఫీరు బంగారాన్ని పారవెయ్యి.
25 Then the Almighty will be thy precious ore, and silver heaped up unto thee;
౨౫అప్పుడు సర్వశక్తుడు నీకు సువర్ణంగాను ప్రశస్తమైన వెండిగాను ఉంటాడు.
26 Yea, then shalt thou delight thyself in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God:
౨౬అప్పుడు సర్వశక్తునిలో నువ్వు ఆనందిస్తావు. దేవుని వైపు నీ ముఖం ఎత్తుతావు.
27 Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he will hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows;
౨౭నువ్వు ఆయనకు ప్రార్థన చేయగా ఆయన నీ మనవి ఆలకిస్తాడు. నీ మొక్కుబళ్లు నువ్వు చెల్లిస్తావు.
28 And thou shalt decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee; and light shall shine upon thy ways.
౨౮నువ్వు దేనినైనా ఆలోచన చేస్తే అది నీకు స్థిరపడుతుంది. నీ మార్గాలపై వెలుగు ప్రకాశిస్తుంది.
29 When they are made low, then thou shalt say, Rise up! and he shall save him that is of downcast eyes.
౨౯దేవుడు గర్విష్టులను వంచుతాడు. కళ్ళు దించుకునే వారిని కాపాడతాడు.
30 [Even] him that is not innocent shall he deliver; yea, he shall be delivered by the pureness of thy hands.
౩౦నిర్దోషి కానివాడినైనా ఆయన విడిపిస్తాడు. అతడు నీ చేతుల శుద్ధి మూలంగా విడుదల పొందుతాడు.
