< Job 17 >
1 My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are mine.
Pema na ngai ekomi pene ya kosila, mikolo na ngai etikali ya kotanga, kunda ezali kozela ngai.
2 Are there not mockers around me? and doth [not] mine eye abide in their provocation?
Solo, batioli bazingeli ngai, miso na ngai ezali komona kotiola na bango.
3 Lay down now [a pledge], be thou surety for me with thyself: who is he that striketh hands with me?
Oh Nzambe, mipesa ata Yo moko lokola ndanga, na esika na ngai, epai na Yo; soki te, nani mosusu akoki komipesa lokola ndanga mpo na ngai!
4 For thou hast hidden their heart from understanding; therefore thou wilt not exalt [them].
Okangi boyebi na bango mpo ete basosola te; yango wana, okolongisa bango te.
5 He that betrayeth friends for a prey — even the eyes of his children shall fail.
Moto oyo akofunda balingami na ye mpo ete babotola bomengo na bango na makasi, bana na ye bakokufa miso.
6 And he hath made me a proverb of the peoples; and I am become one to be spit on in the face.
Nzambe akomisi ngai lokola lisapo kati na minoko ya bato, lokola moto oyo babwakelaka soyi na elongi.
7 And mine eye is dim by reason of grief, and all my members are as a shadow.
Miso na ngai ekomi molili likolo ya pasi, mpe nzoto na ngai nyonso ekomi lokola elilingi.
8 Upright men [shall be] astonished at this, and the innocent shall be stirred up against the ungodly;
Bato ya sembo bazali kokamwa likambo yango, mpe moto oyo ayebi na ye likambo te atelemeli moto mabe.
9 But the righteous shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall increase in strength.
Nzokande, bato ya sembo bakangamaka na nzela na bango, mpe bato ya maboko peto bakomaka lisusu makasi koleka.
10 But as for you all, pray come on again; and I shall not find one wise man among you.
Bino nyonso, boya mpe bomeka lisusu! Nakomona ata moto moko te ya bwanya kati na bino.
11 My days are past, my purposes are broken off, the cherished thoughts of my heart.
Mikolo na ngai ekomi pene ya kosila; mabongisi na ngai mpe baposa ya motema na ngai, nyonso, esili kobeba.
12 They change the night into day; the light [they imagine] near in presence of the darkness.
Bato oyo bazali komona butu lokola moyi bazali koloba kati na molili: ‹ Pole ekomi pene, › nzokande molili ezali makasi.
13 If I wait, Sheol is my house; I spread my bed in the darkness: (Sheol )
Soki ezali na ndako moko kaka oyo nazali kotiela elikya, ezali nde kunda; soki mpe nakotandaka mbeto na ngai, ezali nde kati na mboka ya bakufi. (Sheol )
14 I cry to the grave, Thou art my father! to the worm, My mother, and my sister!
Soki nalobi na kunda: ‹ Ozali tata na ngai, › mpe na mutsopi: ‹ Ozali mama na ngai to ndeko na ngai ya mwasi, ›
15 And where is then my hope? yea, my hope, who shall see it?
wana elikya na ngai ezali penza wapi, mpe nani penza azali komona elikya na ngai?
16 It shall go down to the bars of Sheol, when [our] rest shall be together in the dust. (Sheol )
Ekokita kino na bikuke ya kufa tango tokokende elongo kopema kati na putulu. » (Sheol )
