Job 17
1 My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are mine.
১আমার আত্মা শেষ হয়েছে এবং আমার আয়ু শেষ; আমার কবর আমার জন্য তৈরী।
2 Are there not mockers around me? and doth [not] mine eye abide in their provocation?
২অবশ্যই সেখানে আমার সঙ্গে উপহসকেরা থাকবে; আমার চোখ সবদিন তাদের প্ররোচনা দেখবে।
3 Lay down now [a pledge], be thou surety for me with thyself: who is he that striketh hands with me?
৩“এখন একটা অঙ্গীকার কর, নিজের কাছে আমার জন্য জামিনদার হও; আর কে আছে যে আমায় সাহায্য করবে?
4 For thou hast hidden their heart from understanding; therefore thou wilt not exalt [them].
৪তোমার জন্য, ঈশ্বর, তাদের হৃদয়কে বুদ্ধি থেকে দূরে রেখেছেন; এই জন্য, তুমি আমার উপরে তাদের প্রশংসা করবে না।
5 He that betrayeth friends for a prey — even the eyes of his children shall fail.
৫যে ব্যক্তি পুরষ্কারের জন্য নিজের বন্ধুর নিন্দা করে, তার সন্তানদের চোখ অন্ধ হবে।
6 And he hath made me a proverb of the peoples; and I am become one to be spit on in the face.
৬কিন্তু তিনি আমাকে লোকেদের কাছে লোককথা করেছেন; তারা আমার মুখে থুতু দেয়।
7 And mine eye is dim by reason of grief, and all my members are as a shadow.
৭আমার চোখ দুঃখে ক্ষীণ হয়েছে; আমার শরীরের সমস্ত অংশ ছায়ার মত হয়েছে।
8 Upright men [shall be] astonished at this, and the innocent shall be stirred up against the ungodly;
৮সৎ লোক এর দ্বারা স্তব্ধ হয়ে যাবে; নির্দোষ লোক অধার্মিকদের বিরুদ্ধে উত্তেজিত হয়ে উঠবে।
9 But the righteous shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall increase in strength.
৯ধার্মিক লোক নিজের পথে চলবে; যে ব্যক্তি হাত পরিষ্কার করে সে দিন দিন শক্তিতে বৃদ্ধি পাবে।
10 But as for you all, pray come on again; and I shall not find one wise man among you.
১০কিন্তু তোমরা সকলে, এখন এস; আমি তোমাদের মধ্যে কোন জ্ঞানী মানুষ পাব না।
11 My days are past, my purposes are broken off, the cherished thoughts of my heart.
১১আমার আয়ুর দিন শেষ, আমার পরিকল্পনা শেষ, এমনকি আমার হৃদয়ের ইচ্ছা গুলো শেষ।
12 They change the night into day; the light [they imagine] near in presence of the darkness.
১২এই লোকেরা, এই উপহসকেরা, রাতকে দিনের পরিবতন করে; সেই আলোকে, তারা বলে, তা অন্ধকারের কাছে।
১৩যেহেতু আমি পাতালকে আমার ঘর হিসাবে দেখি; যেহেতু আমি আমার খাট অন্ধকারে পাতি; (Sheol h7585)
14 I cry to the grave, Thou art my father! to the worm, My mother, and my sister!
১৪যেহেতু আমি দুর্নীতিকে বলি, তুমি আমার বাবা এবং পোকাকে বলি, তুমি আমার মা, বা আমার বোন;
15 And where is then my hope? yea, my hope, who shall see it?
১৫তাহলে আমার আশা কোথায়? আমার আশার বিষয়ে, কে দেখতে পায়?
