Job 14

1 Man, born of woman, is of few days, and full of trouble.

၁လူ သည် မိန်းမ ဘွား သောသူဖြစ်သဖြင့်၊ အသက် တို၍ ဒုက္ခ နှင့် ပြည့်စုံ ပါ၏။

2 He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down; and he fleeth as a shadow, and continueth not.

၂ပန်းပွင့် ကဲ့သို့ ပွင့် ၍ ရိတ် ဖြတ်ခြင်းကိုခံရပါ၏။ မ တည် မရပ်ဘဲ အရိပ် ကဲ့သို့ ရွေ့ သွားတတ်ပါ၏။

3 Yet dost thou open thine eyes upon such a one, and bringest me into judgment with thee?

၃ထိုသို့ သောသူကို ကိုယ်တော် ကြည့် မှတ်တော်မူသလော။ အကျွန်ုပ် နှင့်ဘက်၍ တရား တွေ့တော်မူမည် လော။

4 Who can bring a clean [man] out of the unclean? Not one!

၄မ သန့်ရှင်းသောအရာထဲက သန့်ရှင်း သောအရာကို အဘယ် သူထုတ်ဘော် နိုင်သနည်း။ အဘယ်သူ မျှမထုတ်မဘော်နိုင်ပါ။

5 If his days are determined, if the number of his months is with thee, [and] thou hast appointed his bounds which he must not pass,

၅လူ ၏နေ့ ရက်တို့ကို မှတ်သား ၍၊ သူ နေရသော လ အရေ အတွက်ကို ကိုယ်တော်သည်သိသဖြင့်၊ သူ မ လွန် နိုင်သော အပိုင်း အခြားကို ထား တော်မူသောကြောင့်၊

6 Look away from him; and let him rest, till he accomplish, as a hireling, his day.

၆မျက်စိတော်ကို လွှဲ ၍ လူသည်သူငှါး ကဲ့သို့ မိမိ နေ့ ရက်ကို လွန်စေသည်တိုင်အောင် ငြိမ်ဝပ် ရသောအခွင့် ကိုပေးတော်မူပါ။

7 For there is hope for a tree: if it be cut down, it will sprout again, and its tender branch will not cease;

၇သစ်ပင် ကိုခုတ် သော်လည်း ၊ အငုတ်အချည်းစည်း မရှိဘဲ အတက် ပေါက် လေဦးမည်ဟု မြော်လင့် စရာ ရှိ ၏။

8 Though its root grow old in the earth, and its stock die in the ground,

၈မြေ ထဲ မှာ အမြစ် ဟောင်း ၍ ၊ မြေ ပေါ် မှာ အငုတ် သေ သော်လည်း၊

9 Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and put forth boughs like a young plant.

၉ရေ ငွေ့ ကြောင့် အတက် ပေါက်၍ ၊ ပျိုး ပင်ကဲ့သို့ အညွန့်တို့နှင့် ပြည့်စုံ လိမ့်မည်။

10 But a man dieth, and is prostrate; yea, man expireth, and where is he?

၁၀လူ မူကား သေ ၍ ဆွေးမြေ့ တတ်၏။ လူ သည် အသက် ချုပ်ပြီးလျှင် အဘယ် မှာရှိသနည်း။

11 The waters recede from the lake, and the river wasteth and drieth up:

၁၁အိုင် ရေ ပြတ် သကဲ့သို့၎င်း ၊ မြစ် ရေခန်း ခြောက် သကဲ့သို့၎င်း ၊

12 So man lieth down, and riseth not again; till the heavens be no more, they do not awake, nor are raised out of their sleep.

၁၂လူ သည်အိပ် ပြီးမှ နောက်တဖန်မ ထ ရ။ မိုဃ်း ကောင်းကင် မကုန်မဆုံး မှီတိုင်အောင် မ နိုး ရ။ အအိပ် အပျော်မ ပျက် ရ။

13 Oh that thou wouldest hide me in Sheol, that thou wouldest keep me secret until thine anger be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me, — (Sheol h7585)

၁၃ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ကို သင်္ချိုင်း တွင်း၌ ဝှက်ထား တော်မူပါစေ။ အမျက် တော်မလွန် မှီတိုင်အောင် ကွယ်ကာ တော်မူပါစေ။ အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုအောက်မေ့ စရာ အချိန် ကို ချိန်းချက် တော်မူပါစေ။ (Sheol h7585)

14 (If a man die, shall he live [again]?) all the days of my time of toil would I wait, till my change should come:

၁၄လူ သည် သေ လျှင် အသက် ရှင်ပြန်ပါလိမ့်မည်လော။ အကျွန်ုပ် ပြောင်းလဲ ချိန်မ ရောက် မှီ၊ ပင်ပန်း စွာ အမှုထမ်းရသော နေ့ ရက်ကာလပတ်လုံး သည်းခံ လျက်နေ ပါမည်။

15 Thou wouldest call, and I would answer thee; thou wouldest have a desire after the work of thy hands.

၁၅အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ခေါ် တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် ပြန် လျှောက်ပါမည်။ ကိုယ်တိုင်ဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူသောအရာကို သနားခြင်းစိတ်ရှိတော်မူပါ။

16 For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin?

၁၆ယခုမှာ အကျွန်ုပ် ခြေရာ တို့ကို ကိုယ်တော်သည် ရေတွက် ၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ် အပြစ် တို့ကို စောင့် တော်မူ၏။

17 My transgression is sealed up in a bag, and thou heapest up mine iniquity.

၁၇အကျွန်ုပ် သည် မှား ခြင်းအကြောင်းအရာကို အိတ် ၌ တံဆိပ် ခတ်၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်အပေါ် မှာ အထပ်ထပ်အပြစ်တင်တော်မူ၏။

18 And indeed a mountain falling cometh to nought, and the rock is removed out of its place;

၁၈ပြို သောတောင် သည် ကွယ်ပျောက် တတ်ပါ၏။ ကျောက် သည်လည်း မိမိ နေရာ မှ ရွေ့ လျော့တတ်ပါ၏။ ရေ တိုက် သောကျောက်ခဲ သည်လည်း ပွန်း တတ်ပါ၏။

19 The waters wear the stones, the floods thereof wash away the dust of the earth; and thou destroyest the hope of man.

၁၉လွှမ်းမိုးသောရေနှင့်အတူ မြေ မှုန့် ပါသွားတတ်ပါ၏။ ထိုအတူ ကိုယ်တော်သည် လူ မြော်လင့် စရာ အကြောင်းကို ဖျက် တော်မူ၏။

20 Thou prevailest for ever against him, and he passeth away; thou changest his countenance, and dismissest him.

၂၀ကိုယ်တော်သည် လူ ကို အစဉ် နိုင် တော်မူ၍ ၊ လူသည်ကွယ်ပျောက် တတ်ပါ၏။ ထူးခြားသောမျက်နှာ ကိုပေး ၍ အခြားသို့ လွှတ် လိုက်တော်မူ၏။

21 His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, and he perceiveth it not.

၂၁သူ ၏သား တို့သည် ချီးမြှောက် ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သော်လည်း သူသည်မ သိ ရပါ။ နှိမ့်ချ ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သော်လည်း ထိုအမှုကိုပင် မ ရိပ်မိ ပါ။

22 But his flesh hath pain for himself alone, and his soul mourneth for himself.

၂၂သို့ရာတွင် သူ ၏ကိုယ် သည်ကိုက်ခဲ လျက်၊ သူ ၏ဝိညာဉ် သည်ညည်းတွား လျက်နေရပါသည်ဟု မြွက်ဆို၏။
