Job 13
1 Lo, mine eye hath seen all [this], mine ear hath heard and understood it.
೧ಇಗೋ, ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಂಡಿದೆ, ಕಿವಿಯು ಕೇಳಿ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದೆ.
2 What ye know, I know also: I am not inferior to you.
೨ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನೂ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಿಮಗಿಂತ ನಾನು ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲ.
3 But I will speak to the Almighty, and will find pleasure in reasoning with God;
೩ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕು, ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಾದಿಸಲು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
4 For ye indeed are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.
೪ನೀವಾದರೋ ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ವೈದ್ಯರೇ.
5 Oh that ye would be altogether silent! and it would be your wisdom.
೫ನೀವು ಬಾಯಿಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಸುಮ್ಮನಾದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಉತ್ತಮ! ಮೌನವೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವು.
6 Hear now my defence, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.
೬ದಯಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳ ವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ.
7 Will ye speak unrighteously for God? and for him speak deceit?
೭ದೇವರ ಪಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯುವಿರೋ? ಆತನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮೋಸದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವಿರೋ?
8 Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
೮ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮುಖದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವಿರಾ? ದೇವರಿಗಾಗಿ ವಾದಿಸುವಿರಾ?
9 Will it be well if he should search you out? or as one mocketh at a man, will ye mock at him?
೯ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಿದರೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಾಗುವುದೋ? ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಆತನನ್ನೂ ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸುವಿರೋ?
10 He will certainly reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
೧೦ನೀವು ರಹಸ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸೇ ಖಂಡಿಸುವನು.
11 Shall not his excellency terrify you? and his dread fall upon you?
೧೧ಆತನ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಯು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆತನ ಭಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
12 Your memorable sayings are proverbs of ashes, your bulwarks are bulwarks of mire.
೧೨ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಮೃತಿಗಳು ಬೂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಉದಾಹರಣೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೋಟೆಯು ಬರೀ ಮಣ್ಣಿನದೇ.
13 Hold your peace from me, and I will speak, and let come on me what [will]!
೧೩ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿರಿ, ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕು, ನನಗೇನಾದರೂ ಆಗಲಿ.
14 Wherefore should I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in my hand?
೧೪ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಕಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆನು, ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆನು.
15 Behold, if he slay me, yet would I trust in him; but I will defend mine own ways before him.
೧೫ಆಹಾ, ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವನು, ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಾದಿರುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಆದರೂ ನನ್ನ ನಡತೆಯ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯತನವನ್ನು ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವೆನು.
16 This also shall be my salvation, that a profane man shall not come before his face.
೧೬ಭ್ರಷ್ಟನು ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂಬುದೇ, ನಾನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವೆನೆಂಬುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿದೆ.
17 Hear attentively my speech and my declaration with your ears.
೧೭ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಅರಿಕೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ.
18 Behold now, I have ordered the cause; I know that I shall be justified.
೧೮ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಾನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂಬುದಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಣಯವಾಗುವುದೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತೇ ಇದೆ.
19 Who is he that contendeth with me? For if I were silent now, I should expire.
೧೯ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿವಾದಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೋ? ಇದ್ದರೆ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಮೌನನಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಣಬಿಡುವೆನು.
20 Only do not two things unto me; then will I not hide myself from thee.
೨೦ಈ ನನ್ನೆರಡು ಕೋರಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸು. ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
21 Withdraw thy hand far from me; and let not thy terror make me afraid:
೨೧ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆತ್ತಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ದೂರಮಾಡು, ನಿನ್ನ ಭಯವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸದಿರಲಿ.
22 Then call, and I will answer; or I will speak, and answer thou me.
೨೨ಆಗ ನೀನು ಕರೆದರೆ ನಾನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವೆನು, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವೆ, ನೀನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡು.
23 How many are mine iniquities and sins? Make me to know my transgression and my sin.
೨೩ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪದೋಷಗಳೆಷ್ಟು? ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪವನ್ನೂ, ದ್ರೋಹವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸು.
24 Wherefore dost thou hide thy face, and countest me for thine enemy?
೨೪ಏಕೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿ? ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶತ್ರುವೆಂದೆಣಿಸಿರುವುದೇಕೆ?
25 Wilt thou terrify a driven leaf? and wilt thou pursue dry stubble?
೨೫ಹಾರಿಹೋಗುವ ಎಲೆಯನ್ನು ನಡುಗಿಸುವಿಯಾ? ಒಣಗಿದ ಹೊಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಅಟ್ಟಿಬಿಡುವಿಯಾ?
26 For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth;
೨೬ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ತೀರ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದು, ನನ್ನ ಯೌವನದ ಪಾಪಗಳ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಿ.
27 And thou puttest my feet in the stocks, and markest all my paths; thou settest a bound about the soles of my feet; —
೨೭ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೋಳವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಿ; ನನ್ನ ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮನದಟ್ಟುಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಗೆರೆಯೆಳೆದಿದ್ದಿ.
28 One who, as a rotten thing consumeth, as a garment that the moth eateth.
೨೮ಕೊಳೆಯುವ ಪದಾರ್ಥದಂತೆಯೂ, ನುಸಿ ಹಿಡಿದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ಷಯಿಸಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
