Job 11

1 And Zophar the Naamathite answered and said,

೧ಆಗ ನಾಮಾಥ್ಯನಾದ ಚೋಫರನು ಹೀಗೆಂದನು,

2 Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man of much talk be justified?

೨“ಬಹಳ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಬಾರದೋ? ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವವ ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾನೇ?

3 Should thy fictions make men hold their peace? and shouldest thou mock, and no one make [thee] ashamed?

೩ನೀನು ಬಡಾಯಿಕೊಚ್ಚಿದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಬೇಕೋ? ನೀನು ಕುಚೋದ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಾಗ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಬಾರದೋ?

4 For thou sayest, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.

೪‘ನನ್ನ ಬೋಧನೆಯು ನಿರ್ಮಲವಾದದ್ದು, ದೇವದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ’ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೀಯಲ್ಲಾ.

5 But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;

೫ಆಹಾ, ದೇವರು ಬಾಯ್ದೆರೆದು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಉತ್ತಮ!

6 And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, how that they are the double of what is realised; and know that God passeth by [much] of thine iniquity!

೬ಆತನು ಜ್ಞಾನದ ರಹಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ, ಸುಜ್ಞಾನವು ಬಹುಮುಖವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಲೇಸು! ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧರ್ಮವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತರಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ!

7 Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty to perfection?

೭ದೇವರ ಅಗಾಧಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಲ್ಲೆಯಾ? ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದೋ?

8 [It is as] the heights of heaven; what wilt thou do? deeper than Sheol; what canst thou know? (Sheol h7585)

೮ಆಹಾ, (ಆತನ ಜ್ಞಾನವು) ಆಕಾಶದ ಹಾಗೆ ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿದೆ; ನೀನು ಮಾಡುವುದೇನು? ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಆಳವಾಗಿದೆ; ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೇನು? (Sheol h7585)

9 The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

೯ಅದರ ಅಳತೆಯು ಭೂಮಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಉದ್ದವಾಗಿದೆ, ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಅಗಲವಾಗಿದೆ.

10 If he pass by, and shut up, and call to judgment, who can hinder him?

೧೦ಆತನು ಹಾದುಹೋದರೂ, ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟರೂ, ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೆ ಕರೆದರೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡುವವರು ಯಾರು?

11 For he knoweth vain men, and seeth wickedness when [man] doth not consider it;

೧೧ಆತನೇ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ಜನರನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ಯಾವ ವಿಮರ್ಶೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಹಿಡಿಯುವನು.

12 Yet a senseless man will make bold, though man be born [like] the foal of a wild ass.

೧೨ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಯ ಮರಿಗೆ ನರಜನ್ಮವಾದರೆ ಅವಿವೇಕಿಯಾದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ವಿವೇಕವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವನು.

13 If thou prepare thy heart and stretch out thy hands toward him,

೧೩ನೀನಂತು ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಸು.

14 If thou put far away the iniquity which is in thy hand, and let not wrong dwell in thy tents;

೧೪ಅಧರ್ಮವು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ದೂರಮಾಡಿಬಿಡು; ಅನ್ಯಾಯವು ನಿನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸದಿರಲಿ.

15 Surely then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot, and thou shalt be stedfast and shalt not fear:

೧೫ಆಗ ನೀನು ನಿಷ್ಕಳಂಕವಾದ ಮುಖವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು, ಸ್ಥಿರಚಿತ್ತನೂ, ನಿರ್ಭಯನೂ ಆಗಿರುವಿ.

16 For thou shalt forget misery; as waters that are passed away shalt thou remember it;

೧೬ನಿನ್ನ ಕಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಡುವಿ; ಹರಿದುಹೋದ ನೀರನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ.

17 And life shall arise brighter than noonday; though thou be enshrouded in darkness, thou shalt be as the morning,

೧೭ನಿನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನವು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಬೆಳಕಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸುವುದು, ಕತ್ತಲಿದ್ದರೂ ಹಗಲಿನಂತಿರುವುದು.

18 And thou shalt have confidence, because there shall be hope; and having searched about [thee], thou shalt take rest in safety.

೧೮ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಧೈರ್ಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವಿ, ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ನೋಡಿ ಅಪಾಯವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ವಿಶ್ರಮಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ.

19 Yea, thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; and many shall seek thy favour.

೧೯ಮಲಗಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಹೆದರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅನೇಕರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನತೆಯನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವರು.

20 But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and [all] refuge shall vanish from them, and their hope [shall be] the breathing out of life.

೨೦ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟರು ನಿರಾಶ್ರಯರಾಗಿ ಕಂಗೆಡುವರು, ಪ್ರಾಣಬಿಡಬೇಕೆಂಬುದೇ ಅವರ ಬಯಕೆ.”
