Isaiah 66
1 Thus saith Jehovah: The heavens are my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what is the house that ye will build unto me? and what is the place of my rest?
Jehová dijo así: El cielo es mi trono, y la tierra estrado de mis pies: ¿Dónde quedará esta casa que me habéis edificado; y dónde quedará este lugar de mi reposo?
2 Even all these things hath my hand made, and all these things have been, saith Jehovah. But to this man will I look: to the afflicted and contrite in spirit, and who trembleth at my word.
Mi mano hizo todas estas cosas, y por ella todos estas cosas fueron, dijo Jehová: a aquel pues miraré que es pobre y abatido de espíritu, y que tiembla a mi palabra.
3 He that slaughtereth an ox, smiteth a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, breaketh a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, [it is as] swine's blood; he that presenteth a memorial of incense, [is as] he that blesseth an idol. As they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations,
El que sacrifica buey, como si matase un hombre: el que sacrifica oveja, como si degollase un perro: el que ofrece presente, como si ofreciese sangre de puerco: el que ofrece perfume, como si bendijese la iniquidad. Y pues escogieron sus caminos, y su alma amó sus abominaciones:
4 I also will choose their calamities, and will bring their fears upon them; because I called, and none answered, I spoke, and they did not hear, but did that which was evil in mine eyes, and chose that wherein I delight not.
También yo escogeré sus escarnios, y traeré sobre ellos lo que temieron; porque llamé, y nadie respondió: hablé, y no oyeron; e hicieron lo malo delante de mis ojos, y escogieron lo que a mí desagrada.
5 Hear the word of Jehovah, ye that tremble at his word: Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let Jehovah be glorified, and let us see your joy! but they shall be ashamed.
Oíd palabra de Jehová los que tembláis a su palabra. Vuestros hermanos, los que os aborrecen, y os niegan por causa de mi nombre, dijeron: Glorifíquese Jehová. Mas él se mostrará con vuestra alegría, y ellos serán confusos.
6 A voice of tumult from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of Jehovah that rendereth recompence to his enemies!
Voz de alboroto se oye de la ciudad, voz del templo, voz de Jehová que da el pago a sus enemigos.
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man-child.
Antes que estuviese de parto, parió: antes que le viniesen dolores, parió hijo.
8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Can a land be made to bring forth in one day? shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her sons.
¿Quién oyó cosa semejante? ¿Quién vio cosa semejante? ¿La tierra parirse ha en un día? ¿Nacerá toda una nación de una vez? Que Sión estuvo de parto, y parió juntamente sus hijos.
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith Jehovah; I who cause to bring forth, shall I shut [the womb]? saith thy God.
¿Yo que hago parir, no pariré? dijo Jehová. ¿Yo que hago engendrar, seré detenido? dice el Dios tuyo.
10 Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad for her, all ye that love her; rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn over her:
Alegráos con Jerusalem, y gozáos con ella, todos los que la amáis: gozáos con ella de gozo, todos los que os enlutasteis por ella:
11 because ye shall suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; because ye shall drink out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
Para que maméis y os hartéis de las tetas de sus consolaciones: para que ordeñéis, y os deleitéis con el resplandor de su gloria.
12 For thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing torrent; and ye shall suck, ye shall be carried upon the side, and be dandled upon the knees.
Porque así dice Jehová: He aquí que yo extiendo sobre ella paz, como un río; y la gloria de las naciones, como un arroyo que sale de madre; y mamaréis, y sobre el lado seréis traídos, y sobre las rodillas seréis regalados.
13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
Como el varón a quien consuela su madre, así os consolaré yo a vosotros, y sobre Jerusalem tomaréis consuelo.
14 And ye shall see [this], and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like the grass; and the hand of Jehovah shall be known toward his servants, and he will have indignation toward his enemies.
Y veréis, y alegrarse ha vuestro corazón, y vuestros huesos, como la yerba reverdecerán; y la mano de Jehová para con sus siervos será conocida, y contra sus enemigos se airará.
15 For behold, Jehovah will come with fire, and his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Porque he aquí que Jehová vendrá con fuego, y sus carros, como torbellino, para tornar su ira en furor; y su reprensión en llama de fuego.
16 For by fire and by his sword will Jehovah enter into judgment with all flesh: and the slain of Jehovah shall be many.
Porque Jehová juzgará con fuego y con su espada a toda carne; y los muertos de Jehová serán multiplicados.
17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one in the midst; that eat swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall perish together, saith Jehovah.
Los que se santifican, y los que se purifican en los huertos, unos tras otros: los que comen carne de puerco, y abominación, y ratón, juntamente serán talados, dice Jehová.
18 And I, — their works and their thoughts [are before me]. ...[The time] cometh for the gathering of all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
Porque yo entiendo sus obras y sus pensamientos: tiempo vendrá para juntar todas las naciones y las lenguas; y vendrán, y verán mi gloria.
19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow; to Tubal and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory: and they shall declare my glory among the nations.
Y pondré entre ellos seña; y enviaré de los escapados de ellos a las naciones, a Társis, a Pul, y Lud, que tiran arco, a Tubal, y a Javán, a las islas apartadas, que no oyeron de mí, ni vieron mi gloria, y publicarán mi gloria entre las naciones.
20 And they shall bring all your brethren out of all the nations as an oblation unto Jehovah, upon horses, and in chariots, and in covered waggons, and upon mules, and upon dromedaries, to my holy mountain, to Jerusalem, saith Jehovah, as the children of Israel bring an oblation in a clean vessel into the house of Jehovah.
Y traerán a todos vuestros hermanos de entre todas las naciones por presente a Jehová, en caballos, en carros, en literas, y en mulos, y en camellos, a mi santo monte de Jerusalem, dice Jehová, de la manera que los hijos de Israel suelen traer el presente en vasos limpios a la casa de Jehová.
21 And I will also take of them for priests [and] for Levites, saith Jehovah.
Y tomaré también de ellos para sacerdotes y Levitas, dice Jehová.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before me, saith Jehovah, so shall your seed and your name remain.
Porque como los cielos nuevos, y la tierra nueva que yo hago, permanecen delante de mí, dice Jehová, así permanecerá vuestra simiente y vuestro nombre.
23 And it shall come to pass from new moon to new moon, and from sabbath to sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before me, saith Jehovah.
Y será que de mes en mes, y de sábado en sábado vendrá toda carne a adorar delante de mí, dijo Jehová.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorrence unto all flesh.
Y saldrán, y verán los cuerpos de los muertos de los varones que se rebelaron contra mí; porque su gusano nunca morirá, ni su fuego se apagará; y serán abominables a toda carne.
