Isaiah 55
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters; and he that hath no money, come ye, buy, and eat: yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price!
೧“ಎಲೈ, ಬಾಯಾರಿದ ಸಕಲಜನರೇ, ನೀರಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಹಣವಿಲ್ಲದವನು ಸಹ ಬರಲಿ! ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಊಟ ಮಾಡಿರಿ! ಬಂದು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನೂ, ಹಾಲನ್ನೂ ಹಣಕೊಡದೆ, ಕ್ರಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for [that which is] not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye [that which is] good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
೨ಆಹಾರವಲ್ಲದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ? ತೃಪ್ತಿಗೊಳಿಸದ ಪದಾರ್ಥಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುಡಿತವನ್ನು ವೆಚ್ಚಮಾಡುವುದೇಕೆ? ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನೇ ಉಂಡು ಮೃಷ್ಟಾನ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಪಡಿರಿ.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me; hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the sure mercies of David.
೩ಕಿವಿಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ; ಆಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಬದುಕಿ ಬಾಳುವಿರಿ. ನಾನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ವಾಗ್ದಾನಮಾಡಿದ ಕೃಪಾವರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂಬ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
4 Behold, I have given him [for] a witness to the peoples, a prince and commander to the peoples.
೪ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ನಾಯಕನನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದೆನು.
5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation thou knowest not, and a nation [that] knew not thee shall run unto thee, because of Jehovah thy God, and the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
೫ಎಲೈ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ಅವನಂತೆ ನೀನೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲದ ಜನಾಂಗವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧೀನಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆಯುವಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸದಮಲಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಎನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನಗೆ ವೈಭವ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದ ಜನಾಂಗವು ನಿನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಬರುವುದು.
6 Seek ye Jehovah while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.
೬ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸಿಕ್ಕುವ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿರಿ, ಆತನು ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಬಿನ್ನಹಮಾಡಿರಿ.
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto Jehovah, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
೭ದುಷ್ಟನು ತನ್ನ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲಿ, ಕೆಡುಕನು ತನ್ನ ದುರಾಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಲಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲಿ, ಆತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸುವನು; ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಲಿ, ಆತನು ಮಹಾಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸುವನು.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith Jehovah.
೮ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳಲ್ಲ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲ.
9 For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
೯ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕಾಶವು ಎಷ್ಟು ಉನ್ನತವೋ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳೂ ಅಷ್ಟು ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿವೆ.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
೧೦ಮಳೆಯೂ, ಹಿಮವೂ ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಬಿದ್ದು, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ತೋಯಿಸಿ, ಹಸರುಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಫಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಬಿತ್ತುವವನಿಗೆ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು, ಉಣ್ಣುವವನಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿದ ಹೊರತು ಹೇಗೆ ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ,
11 so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall do that which I please, and it shall accomplish that for which I send it.
೧೧ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಮಾತು, ನನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ, ನಾನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೈಗೂಡಿಸಿದ ಹೊರತು ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
೧೨ನೀವು ಆನಂದಭರಿತರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡುವಿರಿ, ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಬರುವಿರಿ; ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಜಯಘೋಷ ಮಾಡುವವು.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress, and instead of the nettle shall come up the myrtle; and it shall be to Jehovah for a name, for an everlasting sign [that] shall not be cut off.
೧೩ಮುಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ತುರಾಯಿಯೂ, ದತ್ತೂರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಸುಗಂಧವೂ ಬೆಳೆಯುವವು; ಆ ವನವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮಸ್ಮರಣೆಗೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಗುರುತಾಗಿ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಅಳಿಯದಿರುವುದು.”
