Isaiah 52
1 Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
ए सियोन, जाग्, जाग्, आफ्नो शक्ति धारण गर् । ए यरूशलेम, पवित्र सहर, आफ्नो सुन्दर पोशाक लगा । किनकि खतना नगरिएका वा अशुद्धचाहिं फेरि कहिल्यै तँभित्र पस्नेछैन ।
2 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, sit down, Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, captive daughter of Zion.
आफैबाट धूलो टक्टक्या । ए यरूशलेम उठ् र बस् । ए सियोनकी कैदी छोरी, आफ्नो घाँटीबाट साङ्ला निकाल् ।
3 For thus saith Jehovah: Ye have sold yourselves for nought, and ye shall be redeemed without money.
किनकि परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “तिमीहरू सित्तैंमा बेचिएका थियौ, अनि पैसाविना नै तिमीहरूको छुटकारा हुनेछ ।”
4 For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there, and Assyria oppressed them without cause;
किनकि परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “सुरुमा मेरा मानिसहरू अस्थायी रूपमा बसोवास गर्न मिश्रदेशमा गए । अनि अश्शूरले तिनीहरूलाई कुनै ठिक कारणविना नै अत्याचार गर्यो ।
5 and now, what have I here, saith Jehovah, that my people hath been taken away for nought? They that rule over them make them to howl, saith Jehovah; and continually all the day is my name scorned.
यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, मेरा मानिसहरू सित्तैंमा लगिएको देख्दा, अब मसँग यहाँ के छ र? यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, तिनीहरूमाथि शासन गर्नेहरूले तिनीहरूलाई खिसी गर्छन् र दिनभरि मेरो नाउँको निरन्तर निन्दा हुन्छ ।
6 Therefore my people shall know my name; therefore [they shall know] in that day that I [am] HE, that saith, Here am I.
यसकारण मेरा मानिसहरूले मेरो नाउँ जान्नेछन् । “हो, त्यो म नै हुँ” भन्ने म नै हुँ भनी तिनीहरूले त्यस दिन जान्नेछन् ।
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that announceth glad tidings, that publisheth peace; that announceth glad tidings of good, that publisheth salvation, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
असल समाचार ल्याउने दूतहरूका गोडाहरू पहडाहरूमाथि कति सुन्दर, जसले शन्तिको घोषणा गर्छन्, जसले असल समाचार ल्याउँछन्, जसले उद्धारको घोषणा गर्छन्, जसले सियोनलाई भन्छन्, “तेरो परमेश्वरले राज्य गर्नुहुन्छ!” ।
8 — The voice of thy watchmen, they lift up the voice, they sing aloud together; for they shall see eye to eye, when Jehovah shall bring again Zion.
सुन्, तिमीहरूका रक्षकहरूले आफ्ना सोर उच्च पार्छन्, तिनीहरू आनन्दले कराउँछन्, किनकि आफ्ना हरेक आँखाले तिनीहरूले परमप्रभु सयोनमा फर्कनुभएको देख्नेछन् ।
9 Break forth, sing aloud together, waste places of Jerusalem; for Jehovah comforteth his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
ए यरूशलेमको भग्नावशेषहरू, आनन्दको गीत सँगसँगै गाओ । किनकि परमप्रभुले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई सान्त्वना दिनुभएको छ । उहाँले यरूशलेमको उद्धार गर्नुभएको छ ।
10 Jehovah hath made bare his holy arm in the sight of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
परमप्रभुले आफ्नो पवित्र बाहुली सबै जातिहरूको दृष्टिमा प्रकट गर्नुभएको छ । सारा पृथ्वीले हाम्रा परमेश्वरको उद्धार देख्नेछ ।
11 — Depart, depart, go out from thence, touch not what is unclean; go out of the midst of her, be ye clean, that bear the vessels of Jehovah.
छोड, छोड, त्यहाँबाट बाहिर जाओ । अशुद्ध कुनै कुरा नछोओ । त्यसको माझबाट जाओ । आफैलाई शुद्ध बनाओ, तिमीहरू जसले परमप्रभुको पात्रलाई बोक्छौ ।
12 For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight; for Jehovah will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear-guard.
किनकि तिमीहरू हतारमा बाहिर जानेछैनौ, न तिमीहरूले त्रासमा छोड्नेछौ । किनकि परमप्रभु तिमीहरूको अगि-अगि जानुहुनेछ । अनि इस्राएलको परमेश्वर नै तिमीहरू पछाडिको रक्षक हुनुहुनेछ ।
13 Behold, my servant shall deal prudently; he shall be exalted and be lifted up, and be very high.
हेर, मेरो सेवकले बुद्धिमान् भएर काम गर्नेछ । ऊ उच्च हुनेछ र माथि उचालिनेछ र उसलाई उचालिनेछ ।
14 As many were astonished at thee — his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the children of men
जसरी तँसँग धेरै जना त्रसित भएका थिए— उसको अनुहार कुनै मानिसको भन्दा धेरै कुरूप बनाइएको थियो, र उसको स्वरूप कुनै मानिसको जस्तो देखिएन ।
15 — so shall he astonish many nations; kings shall shut their mouths at him: for what had not been told them shall they see, and what they had not heard shall they consider.
तापनि मेरो सेवकले धेरै जातिहरूलाई छर्कनेछ र उसको कारणले राजाहरूले आफ्ना मुख बन्द गर्नेछन् । किनकि तिनीहरूलाई नभनिएको कुरा तिनीहरूले देख्नेछन् र तिनीहरू नसुनेका कुरा तिनीहरूले बुझ्नेछन् ।
