Isaiah 45
1 Thus saith Jehovah to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him — and I will loose the loins of kings; to open before him the two-leaved doors, and the gates shall not be shut:
௧யெகோவாவாகிய நான் அபிஷேகம்செய்த கோரேசுக்கு முன்பாக தேசங்களைக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தி, ராஜாக்களின் இடைக்கட்டுகளை அவிழ்க்கும்படிக்கும், அவனுக்கு முன்பாக வாசல்கள் பூட்டப்படாதிருக்க, கதவுகளைத் திறந்து வைக்கும்படிக்கும், அவனைப் பார்த்து, அவன் வலதுகையைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு, அவனுக்குச் சொல்கிறதாவது:
2 I will go before thee, and make the elevated places plain; I will break in pieces the brazen doors, and cut asunder the bars of iron;
௨நான் உனக்கு முன்னே போய், கோணலானவைகளைச் செவ்வையாக்குவேன்.
3 and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places; that thou mayest know that I, Jehovah, who call thee by name, [am] the God of Israel.
௩உன்னைப் பெயர்சொல்லி அழைக்கிற இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா நானே என்று நீ அறியும்படிக்கு,
4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have called thee by thy name; I surnamed thee, though thou didst not know me;
௪வெண்கலக் கதவுகளை உடைத்து, இரும்புத் தாழ்ப்பாள்களை முறித்து, இரகசிய இடங்களில் இருக்கிற பொக்கிஷங்களையும், மறைவிடத்தில் இருக்கிற புதையல்களையும் உனக்குக் கொடுப்பேன்; நான் என் தாசனாகிய யாக்கோபினிமித்தமும், நான் தெரிந்துகொண்ட இஸ்ரவேலினிமித்தமும், நான் உன்னைப் பெயர்சொல்லி அழைத்து, நீ என்னை அறியாதிருந்தும், உனக்கு பெயர் சூட்டினேன்.
5 I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else; there is no God beside me: I girded thee, and thou hast not known me;
௫நானே யெகோவா, வேறொருவர் இல்லை; என்னைத்தவிர தேவன் இல்லை.
6 — that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the going down, that there is none beside me. I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else;
௬என்னைத்தவிர ஒருவரும் இல்லையென்று சூரியன் உதிக்கிற திசையிலும், அது மறைகிறகிற திசையிலும் அறியப்படும்படிக்கு நீ என்னை அறியாதிருந்தும், நான் உனக்கு இடைக்கட்டு கட்டினேன்; நானே யெகோவா, வேறொருவர் இல்லை.
7 forming the light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil: I, Jehovah, do all these things.
௭ஒளியைப் படைத்து, இருளையும் உண்டாக்கினேன், சமாதானத்தைப் படைத்து தீங்கையும் உண்டாக்குகிறவர் நானே; யெகோவாவாகிய நானே இவைகளையெல்லாம் செய்கிறவர்.
8 Drop down, [ye] heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and with it let righteousness spring up. I, Jehovah, have created it.
௮வானங்களே, மேலிருந்து பொழியுங்கள்; ஆகாயமண்டலங்கள் நீதியைப் பொழிவதாக; பூமி திறந்து, இரட்சிப்பின் கனியைத்தந்து, நீதியுங்கூட விளைவதாக; கர்த்தராகிய நான் இவைகளை உண்டாக்குகிறேன்.
9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let a potsherd [strive] with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that formeth it, What makest thou? Or thy work, He hath no hands?
௯மண்ணால் செய்யப்பட்டவைகளைப்போன்ற ஓடாயிருந்தும், தன்னை உருவாக்கினவரோடே வழக்காடுகிறவனுக்கு ஐயோ, களிமண் தன்னை உருவாக்கினவனை நோக்கி: என்ன செய்கிறாயென்று சொல்லமுடியுமோ? உன்னால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டவை: அவருக்குக் கைகள் இல்லையென்று சொல்லலாமோ?
10 Woe unto him that saith unto [his] father, What begettest thou? Or to [his] mother, What hast thou brought forth?
௧0தகப்பனை நோக்கி: ஏன் பிறக்கச்செய்தாய் என்றும், தாயை நோக்கி: ஏன் பெற்றெடுத்தாய் என்றும் சொல்கிறவனுக்கு ஐயோ,
11 Thus saith Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: Ask me of the things to come; concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands, command ye me.
௧௧இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தரும் அவனை உருவாக்கினவருமாகிய யெகோவா சொல்கிறதாவது: வருங்காரியங்களை என்னிடத்தில் கேளுங்கள்; என் பிள்ளைகளைக்குறித்தும், என் கரங்களின் கிரியைகளைக்குறித்தும் எனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுங்கள்.
12 It is I that have made the earth, and created man upon it; it is I, my hands, that have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
௧௨நான் பூமியை உண்டாக்கி, நானே அதின்மேல் இருக்கிற மனிதனைப் படைத்தேன்; என் கரங்கள் வானங்களை விரித்தன; அவைகளின் சர்வசேனையையும் நான் கட்டளையிட்டேன்.
13 It is I that have raised him up in righteousness, and I will make all his ways straight: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith Jehovah of hosts.
௧௩நான் நீதியின்படி அவனை எழுப்பினேன்; அவன் வழிகளையெல்லாம் செவ்வைப்படுத்துவேன்; அவன் என் நகரத்தைக் கட்டி, சிறைப்பட்டுப்போன என்னுடையவர்களை விலையில்லாமலும் லஞ்சமில்லாமலும் விடுதலையாக்குவான் என்று சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.
14 Thus saith Jehovah: The wealth of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall walk after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall bow down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, [saying, ] Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, no other God. ...
௧௪எகிப்தின் வருமானமும், எத்தியோப்பியாவின் வர்த்தகலாபமும், உயரமான ஆட்களாகிய சபேயரின் வியாபார லாபமும், உன்னிடத்திற்குத் தாண்டிவந்து, உன்னுடையதாகும்; அவர்கள் உன் பின்னே சென்று, விலங்கிடப்பட்டு நடந்துவந்து: உன்னுடனே மாத்திரம் தேவன் இருக்கிறார் என்றும், அவரையல்லாமல் வேறே தேவன் இல்லையென்றும் சொல்லி, உன்னைப் பணிந்துகொண்டு, உன்னை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம் செய்வார்கள் என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.
15 Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. ...
௧௫இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனும் இரட்சகருமாகிய நீர் உண்மையாகவே உம்மை மறைத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிற தேவனாயிருக்கிறீர்.
16 They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them; they shall go away in confusion together, the makers of idols.
௧௬சிலைகளை உண்டாக்குகிற அனைவரும் வெட்கப்பட்டு அவமானமடைந்து, ஏகமாகக் கலங்கிப்போவார்கள்.
17 Israel shall be saved by Jehovah with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded, unto the ages of ages.
௧௭இஸ்ரவேலோ, யெகோவாவாலே நிலையான காப்பாற்றுதலினால் காப்பாற்றப்படுவான்; நீங்கள் என்றென்றைக்குமுள்ள சதாகாலங்களிலும் வெட்கப்படாமலும் கலங்காமலும் இருப்பீர்கள்.
18 For thus saith Jehovah who created the heavens, God himself who formed the earth and made it, he who established it, — not as waste did he create it: he formed it to be inhabited: — I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else.
௧௮வானங்களைப் படைத்து பூமியையும் வெறுமையாக இருக்கும்படிப் படைக்காமல் அதைக் குடியிருப்புக்காகச் செய்து படைத்து, அதை நிலைநிறுத்தின தேவனாகிய யெகோவா சொல்கிறதாவது: நானே யெகோவா, வேறொருவர் இல்லை.
19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth; I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek me in vain: I [am] Jehovah, speaking righteousness, declaring things which are right.
௧௯நான் அந்தரங்கத்திலும், பூமியின் அந்தகாரமான இடத்திலும் பேசினதில்லை; வீணாக என்னைத் தேடுங்களென்று நான் யாக்கோபின் சந்ததிக்குச் சொன்னதுமில்லை; நான் நீதியைப் பேசி, யதார்த்தமானவைகளை அறிவிக்கிற யெகோவா.
20 Gather yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations. They have no knowledge that carry the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
௨0தேசங்களினின்று தப்பினவர்களே, கூட்டங்கூடி வாருங்கள்; ஏகமாகச் சேருங்கள்; தங்கள் மரத்தாலான சிலையைச் சுமந்து, காப்பாற்றமாட்டாத தெய்வத்தைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் அறிவில்லாதவர்கள்.
21 Declare and bring [them] near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath caused this to be heard from ancient time? [who] hath declared it long ago? Is it not I, Jehovah? And there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour, there is none besides me.
௨௧நீங்கள் தெரிவிக்கும்படி சேர்ந்து, ஏகமாக யோசனைசெய்யுங்கள்; இதை ஆரம்பகாலமுதற்கொண்டு விளங்கச்செய்து, அந்நாள் துவங்கி இதை அறிவித்தவர் யார்? கர்த்தராகிய நான் அல்லவோ? நீதிபரரும் இரட்சகருமாகிய என்னையல்லாமல் வேறே தேவன் இல்லை; என்னைத்தவிர வேறொருவரும் இல்லை.
22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and there is none else.
௨௨பூமியின் எல்லையெங்குமுள்ளவர்களே, என்னை நோக்கிப்பாருங்கள்; அப்பொழுது காப்பாற்றப்படுவீர்கள்; நானே தேவன், வேறொருவரும் இல்லை.
23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
௨௩முழங்கால் யாவும் எனக்கு முன்பாக முடங்கும், நாவு யாவும் என்னை முன்னிட்டு ஆணையிடும் என்று நான் என்னைக்கொண்டே வாக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறேன்; இந்த நீதியான வார்த்தை என் வாயிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டது; இது மாறுவது இல்லையென்கிறார்.
24 Only in Jehovah, shall one say, have I righteousness and strength. To him shall [men] come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
௨௪யெகோவாவிடத்தில் மாத்திரம் நீதியும் வல்லமையுமுண்டென்று அவனவன் சொல்லி அவரிடத்தில் வந்து சேருவான்; அவருக்கு விரோதமாக எரிச்சல் கொண்டிருக்கிற அனைவரும் வெட்கப்படுவார்கள்.
25 In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
௨௫இஸ்ரவேலின் சந்ததியாகிய அனைவரும் யெகோவாவுக்குள் நீதிமான்களாக்கப்பட்டு மேன்மைபாராட்டுவார்கள்.
