Isaiah 43

1 But now thus saith Jehovah, that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou art mine.

௧இப்போதும் யாக்கோபே, உன்னைச் சிருஷ்டித்தவரும், இஸ்ரவேலே, உன்னை உருவாக்கினவருமாகிய யெகோவா சொல்கிறதாவது: பயப்படாதே; உன்னை மீட்டுக்கொண்டேன்; உன்னைப் பெயர்சொல்லி அழைத்தேன்; நீ என்னுடையவன்.

2 When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

௨நீ தண்ணீர்களைக் கடக்கும்போது நான் உன்னோடு இருப்பேன்; நீ ஆறுகளைக் கடக்கும்போது அவைகள் உன்மேல் புரளுவதில்லை; நீ நெருப்பில் நடக்கும்போது வேகாதிருப்பாய்; நெருப்புத்தழல் உன்னை சுட்டெரிக்காது.

3 For I [am] Jehovah thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

௩நான் இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தரும், உன் இரட்சகருமாயிருக்கிற உன் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா; உன்னை மீட்கும்பொருளாக எகிப்தையும், உனக்கு ஈடாக எத்தியோப்பியாவையும் சேபாவையும் கொடுத்தேன்.

4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee; and I will give men for thee, and peoples for thy life.

௪நீ என் பார்வைக்கு அருமையானபடியினால் கனம்பெற்றாய்; நானும் உன்னைச் சிநேகித்தேன், ஆதலால் உனக்குப் பதிலாக மனிதர்களையும், உன் ஜீவனுக்கு ஈடாக மக்களையும் கொடுப்பேன்.

5 Fear not, for I [am] with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

௫பயப்படாதே, நான் உன்னுடன் இருக்கிறேன்; நான் உன் சந்ததியைக் கிழக்கிலிருந்து வரச்செய்து, உன்னை மேற்கிலுமிருந்து கூட்டிச்சேர்ப்பேன்.

6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from afar, and my daughters from the end of the earth,

௬நான் வடக்கை நோக்கி: கொடு என்றும், தெற்கை நோக்கி: வைத்திராதே என்றும் சொல்லி, தூரத்திலிருந்து என் மகன்களையும், பூமியின் கடையாந்தரத்திலிருந்து என் மகள்களையும்,

7 every one that is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory: I have formed him, yea, I have made him.

௭நான் என் மகிமைக்கென்று சிருஷ்டித்து உருவாக்கிப் படைத்து, என் பெயர் சூட்டப்பட்ட அனைவரையும் கொண்டுவா என்பேன்.

8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.

௮கண்களிருந்தும் குருடர்களாயிருக்கிற மக்களையும், காதுகளிருந்தும் செவிடர்களாயிருக்கிறவர்களையும் புறப்பட்டு வரச்செய்யுங்கள்.

9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled: who among them declareth this, or causeth us to hear former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear, and say, [It is] truth.

௯சகல தேசங்களும் ஏகமாகச் சேர்ந்துகொண்டு, சகல மக்களும் கூடிவரட்டும்; இதை அறிவித்து, முந்தி சம்பவிப்பவைகளை நமக்குத் தெரிவிக்கிறவன் யார்? கேட்டு உண்மையென்று சொல்லக்கூடும்படிக்கு, அவர்கள் தங்கள் சாட்சிகளைக் கொண்டுவந்து நேர்மையானவர்களாக விளங்கட்டும்.

10 Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] HE: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

௧0நானே அவரென்று நீங்கள் உணர்ந்து என்னை அறிந்து விசுவாசிக்கும்படிக்கு, நீங்களும் நான் தெரிந்துகொண்ட என் ஊழியக்காரனும் எனக்குச் சாட்சிகளாயிருக்கிறீர்கள் என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்; எனக்குமுன் ஏற்பட்ட தேவன் இல்லை; எனக்குப்பின் இருப்பதும் இல்லை.

11 I, I [am] Jehovah; and besides me there is no saviour.

௧௧நான், நானே யெகோவா; என்னையல்லாமல் இரட்சகர் இல்லை.

12 It is I that have declared, and have saved, and have shewed, when there was no strange [god] among you; and ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, that I [am] God.

௧௨நானே அறிவித்து, இரட்சித்து, விளங்கச்செய்தேன்; உங்களில் இப்படிச் செய்யத்தக்க அந்நிய தேவன் இல்லை; நானே தேவன் என்பதற்கு நீங்கள் எனக்குச் சாட்சிகள் என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.

13 Yea, since the day was, I [am] HE, and there is none that delivereth out of my hand: I will work, and who shall hinder it?

௧௩நாள் உண்டாகாததற்குமுன்னும் நானே இருக்கிறேன்; என் கைக்குத் தப்புவிக்கத்தக்கவன் இல்லை; நான் செய்கிறதைத் தடுப்பவன் யார்?

14 Thus saith Jehovah, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought all of them down as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.

௧௪நான் உங்களுக்காக அரண்களெல்லாம் இடிந்துவிழவும், கல்தேயர்கள் படகுகளிலிருந்து அலறவும் செய்யத்தக்கவர்களைப் பாபிலோனுக்கு அனுப்பினேனென்று, உங்கள் மீட்பரும் இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தருமாகிய யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.

15 I [am] Jehovah, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.

௧௫நானே உங்கள் பரிசுத்தராகிய யெகோவாவும், இஸ்ரவேலின் சிருஷ்டிகரும், உங்கள் ராஜாவுமானவர்.

16 Thus saith Jehovah, who maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters,

௧௬கடலிலே வழியையும் திரளான தண்ணீர்களிலே பாதையையும் உண்டாக்கி,

17 who bringeth forth chariot and horse, army and power — they lie down together, they shall not rise; they are extinct, they are quenched as tow:

௧௭இரதங்களையும் குதிரைகளையும் படைகளையும் பராக்கிரமசாலிகளையும் புறப்படச்செய்து, அவைகள் எழுந்திராதபடிக்கு ஒருமித்து விழுந்துகிடக்கவும், ஒரு திரி அணைகிறதுபோல் அவைகள் அணைந்துபோகவும்செய்கிற யெகோவா சொல்கிறதாவது:

18 — Remember not the former things, neither consider the ancient things:

௧௮முந்தினவைகளை நினைக்கவேண்டாம்; முந்தினமானவைகளைச் சிந்திக்கவேண்டாம்.

19 behold, I do a new thing; now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the waste.

௧௯இதோ, நான் புதிய காரியத்தைச் செய்கிறேன்; இப்பொழுதே அது தோன்றும்; நீங்கள் அதை அறியீர்களா? நான் வனாந்திரத்திலே வழியையும், அவாந்தரவெளியிலே ஆறுகளையும் உண்டாக்குவேன்.

20 The beast of the field shall glorify me, the jackals and the ostriches; for I will give waters in the wilderness, rivers in the waste, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

௨0நான் தெரிந்துகொண்ட என் மக்களின் தாகத்திற்கு வனாந்திரத்திலே தண்ணீர்களையும் அவாந்தரவெளியிலே ஆறுகளையும் உண்டாக்குவதினால், காட்டுமிருகங்களும், வலுசர்ப்பங்களும், ஆந்தைக் குஞ்சுகளும் என்னைக் கனப்படுத்தும்.

21 This people have I formed for myself: they shall shew forth my praise.

௨௧இந்த மக்களை எனக்கென்று ஏற்படுத்தினேன்; இவர்கள் என் துதியைச் சொல்லிவருவார்கள்.

22 — But thou hast not called upon me, Jacob; for thou hast been weary of me, O Israel:

௨௨ஆனாலும் யாக்கோபே, நீ என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடவில்லை; இஸ்ரவேலே, நீ என்னைக்குறித்து மனம்சலித்துப்போனாய்.

23 thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt-offerings, neither hast thou glorified me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to toil with an oblation, nor wearied thee with incense.

௨௩உன் ஆடுகளைத் தகனபலிகளாக நீ எனக்குச் செலுத்தவில்லை; உன் பலிகளாலே நீ என்னைக் கனப்படுத்தவுமில்லை; காணிக்கைகளைச் செலுத்தும்படி நான் உன்னைச் சங்கடப்படுத்தாமலும், தூபங்காட்டும்படி உன்னை வருத்தப்படுத்தாமலும் இருந்தேன்.

24 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices; but thou hast made me to toil with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.

௨௪நீ எனக்குப் பணங்களால் சுகந்தப்பட்டையைக் கொள்ளாமலும், உன் பலிகளின் கொழுப்பினால் என்னைத் திருப்தியாக்காமலும், உன் பாவங்களினால் என்னைச் சங்கடப்படுத்தி, உன் அக்கிரமங்களினால் என்னை வருத்தப்படுத்தினாய்.

25 — I, I [am] He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and I will not remember thy sins.

௨௫நான், நானே உன் மீறுதல்களை என் நிமித்தமாகவே குலைத்துப்போடுகிறேன்; உன் பாவங்களை நினைக்காமலும் இருப்பேன்.

26 Put me in remembrance, let us plead together; rehearse thine own [cause], that thou mayest be justified.

௨௬நாம் ஒருவரோடொருவர் வழக்காடும்படி எனக்கு நினைப்பூட்டு; நீ நீதிமானாக விளங்கும்படி உன் காரியத்தைச் சொல்.

27 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy mediators have rebelled against me.

௨௭உன் ஆதிதகப்பன் பாவம்செய்தான்; உனக்கு முன்னின்று பேசுகிறவர்களும் எனக்கு விரோதமாகத் துரோகம்செய்தார்கள்.

28 And I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the ban, and Israel to reproaches.

௨௮ஆகையால், நான் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் தலைவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்கி, யாக்கோபைச் சாபத்திற்கும், இஸ்ரவேலை நிந்தனைக்கும் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்.
